Rangers 2 : 0 Hamilton - Player Ratings and MoM Poll
johnnyk replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
funny how people see things differently, davis for me was average at best, not going in for tackles, poor distribution of the ball, not going forward to support Kirk. good ball for the goal but that was it for me. Edu on the other hand got stuck in, won a lot in the air and kept it simple and his passing was far better than SD IMO as he found his man the majority of the time unlike SD. I don't know if it's WS tactics or what but there was not much support from the midfield when we got the ball going forward all far too defensive. Kirk played well as did Boyd I agree......... -
true m8 give him a free transfer asap...............
-
don't want PL back. don't want Kirk to leave but I'd take £2m for him..........

apart from scoring goals which wins games IMO he is due a decent chance against them just because he is our top scorer.............

Very true but he also needs to get a fair crack of the whip against the so called bigger and better teams which he hasn't.......

Rangers 2 : 0 Hamilton - Player Ratings and MoM Poll

Boyd done OK, worked the defenders once or twice but should be doing that more IMO. He should also have won a few more headers but came deep a few times to look for the ball and started spraying passes about near the end Davis was IMO average, I don't know how he got MOTM, good ball in for the goal but he missed a sitter, craps out of tackles, his passing wasn't great and sits too deep and doesn't make enough forward runs to help Kirk on the right. Edu plays is simple, breaks up the play well, good in the air and not scared to tackle, my MOTM as well. When we get the ball not enough players run forward to make options or give support and whoever has the ball always cuts back and the chance has gone. Edu, Mendes and Davis should have got forward more IMO, hopefully BF can give us this option! Hamilton were poor................. -
very true m8, thats what we all are in the end

I don't see a minute's silence as mourning someone but showing respect. I would think his family would have their own celebration for the life they shared with him privately? As this is at Ibrox and mainly for the Rangers supporters to pay respect, celebrate etc don't you think they should have a say in how they do this? I would have thought after the late Bobby Shearer's minute applause the club might just might take the thousands of Rangers supporters opinions they received on board but obviously not.

he's just recently made his comeback again after being out for months with another injury. http://www.gersnetonline.net/vb/showthread.php?t=8506

Do you think the club might've put some pressure on the family or at very least ââ?¬Ë?recommendedââ?¬â?¢ they have a minute's applause rather than the family coming out with this on their own? OK it's a new trend as Pete mentioned but as BD said you don't have to follow it. Iââ?¬â?¢d say the majority of Rangers support would prefer a minuteââ?¬â?¢s silence as a mark of respect for a true Rangers legend then a loud roar and applause.

If he gets back to full fitness then I don't see why we would let him go TBO. There was a thread started on FF yesterday saying the same, do you think the papers just take some stories from forums even though they might be crap, surely not?

Says a lot for our young defenders if McCulloch plays there before them, surely we must have some decent youngsters at our club??? Or I suppose whoever plays him in defence before them also.......

Only done it a couple of times. Once at Tannadice in 1991/92 season when Bomber Brown scored the winner at the away end, I was right behind the goals great view. Miko scored our first and we won 2-1. Loads of Gers fans got thrown out after celebrating but me and my mates kept our cool and the utd fans next to us were decent enough not to grass us up...... The other was at Tynecastle 1997/98 season when we won 3-0. I hadn't even sat down to watch the game when 2 jambo's I knew made sure everyone round about knew I was a bluenose!! It was good banter until they were getting stuffed and I was glad to get out.....Gattuso scored twice and Albertz got the other
