  1. excellent read and sounds a great guy!!
  2. Decent player but nothing special and he wouldn't improve us IMO........
  3. He can give us something different if played in the correct position, I really rate him and think he can play a big part for us this season.........
  4. They've played 6 games this year.......Walcott 4. Walcott of course took the headlines in the Croatia game and rightly so. Frank IMO played the better in the Kazakhstan game than walcott. Gerrard and Lampard were better than Walcott against Belarus IMO. Walcott wasn't any better than them against andorra IMO...... Rio and Gerrard have scored in these games also...... Going by the Croatia game walcott is a loss but he never done much in his last game to say he is on better form than the others IMO.
  5. Walcot is a good player and a great prospect, he's done well in a few games for them but nowhere near the standard of the other players mentioned, can't believe anyone can even think that TBO...........
  6. RANGERS STAR LEE A TARGET FOR STOKE http://www.dailyexpress.co.uk/posts/view/71966 please please..................
  7. But injuries can happen anytime, anywhere, so if he did it when training for his club then that's fine? It's just unlucky he was with the international squad when it happened. If he done this while playing in the game you may have a better case but again it can happen in any game as well, it's just unlucky. I'm sure the players or manager don't see these games as meaningless friendlies or the fans who are paying their money.
  8. These things can happen anywhere at anytime so to blame Engurland here is very silly IMO.........I'm sure if Wenger and all the others who moan ever became international managers they would soon change their views!!
  9. You've just came to your senses re Boyd m8 that's all .....well sort off as I see you mentioned Buffel earlier again
  10. I agree with Gribz here I would have Hemdani at CH before McCulloch. LM did ok on sat but as Gribz said Hemdani can read the game better defensive wise than LM..........
  11. Strachan's quote after the game said it all........ "I don't think we've moaned about referees for a long, long time. And we're not going to start now".
  12. If Sir Alex let him come here I'm sure it would only be if he was going to get a minimum amount of first team games otherwise what is the point. He looks a decent player though. I heard Walter on the radio this morning saying McCulloch is now back up for centre half, he done OK on sat but for us this is a joke IMO and says a lot for our youngsters. If I was in the reserves I would be wanting away now as they don't have much chance with us.........
  13. [ame=http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=3PSCTWVyWw0]YouTube - Same ol Conroy[/ame]
  14. and a sending off Ian, the game's as good as over now lucky scum b******s.........
  15. Beasley looks a decent player when playing for the USA, he seems to take most of the free kicks and corners and does well. I've also seen him going on runs that I rarely see him do for us but maybe it's just the opposition he's playing against. For us he has shown some glimpses of what he can do but certainly not enough. We have brought in Lafferty and Edu on 5 year contracts and they have potential but we need/needed players who will go right into the first team with the money we spent on those 2...... I have big hopes for Naismith when he returns for us maybe Dec or Jan hopefully, he might give us something different we don't have just now........
  16. exactly, it does help when players are played in their preferred/best positions. Lafferty was murder on the left but looked ok going through the middle in the 2nd half. why bring in these young players and wait months or years to give them a chance! I would also give velicka a chance he can't do any worse than Miller did on Wed........
  17. No sale for Ibrox disaster cards............... http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/glasgow_and_west/7722919.stm
  18. 2-0 gers, miller, davis...........
  19. Ian will have plenty of spare time to help
  20. Get well soon Craig...............
  21. Nightmare for him and us, get well soon KT we will certainly miss you..........
  22. I agree if Burley did make the first move then I would say that would be quite brave and mature rather than a sign of weakness. Boyd is Scotland's top striker and the country needs him just now IMO so there is no shame in trying to get him back and by doing so it might make the less mature Boyd? think he is wanted by the manager in charge. Burley has made mistakes by picking Boyd in squads for friendlies but not quoting him which IMO was pointless so I can also see Boyd's side also.
  23. The rest of Great Britain showed respect by having a minutes silence, why must celtic be different? I don't know how anyone can defend them on this..........
  24. They really do make you sick
  25. JEAN-CLAUDE DARCHEVILLE is ready to jump at a move to Nantes or Marseille. The French Ligue 1 sides are tracking the Rangers striker who has dropped down the pecking order at Ibrox this season. Darch has told friends he wants to end his Gers hell in January and SunSport can reveal heââ?¬â?¢s already eyeing a return to France. Nantes and Marseilles are both understood to be keen on the 33-year-old striker, who has failed to score in eight outings this season. Darcheville has been alerted to the transfer interest in his homeland and has hinted he is ready to call time on his Rangers career. He said: ââ?¬Å?My agent has told me about a few contacts there. Nothing is impossible. It is France that made me and I donââ?¬â?¢t forget it. ââ?¬Å?Iââ?¬â?¢m not saying no to a return. It will depend on opportunities.ââ?¬Â Darcheville is now Gersââ?¬â?¢ FIFTH choice striker behind Kris Boyd, Kenny Miller, Kyle Lafferty and Nacho Novo. Thatââ?¬â?¢s a situation the former Bordeaux star is no longer prepared to accept. The Frenchman is out of contract in the summer and Gers boss Walter Smith will be tempted to cash in on a player he has used sparingly this season. Darcheville added: ââ?¬Å?I have been told about interest from Nantes. ââ?¬Å?I know the manager Elie Baup and we have a good relationship. ââ?¬Å?And Marseille? If such a club contacted me, it would not leave me uninterested.ââ?¬Â http://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/scotsol/homepage/sport/spl/article1903354.ece
