We know that season ticket sales are slow/low, and this is for a variety of reason. One of them being Dave King's "trust". Does anyone know what sort of numbers are involved with the trust now??? Is it a significant number, or has it turned out to be a bit of a damp squib???
-
Does King's "trust" have enough folk signed up in order to apply the require pressure???? If for example, only 5k folk have signed, it looses any real power or influence...... Have there been any numbers released???

No surprise.... This is the biggest season EVER for this countries 2nd tier - never before has there been 3 of the countries biggest clubs playing out with the top division. What better way to promote the league & generate interest/cash etc than to have 2 of the coutries biggest clubs going head-to-head in the opening match.....then follow it up with probably the 2nd biggest derby match in the country.

That's the price you have to pay to be a successful player these days.....a revelation like this will have an obvious effect on the rest of the WC teams & players....- 16 replies

I agree....what better way to open the new season than with one of the leagues biggest games.

I would also tend to keep Faure....but play him @ CB - he's done well in his preferred position IMHO.
-
....and played @ either RB or LW....

Sound strategy from McCoist.....replace the whole team for the 1st charge @ the SPFL.....

I would have taken him when he was at ICT....after his Hibs debacle, I wouldn't touch him with a barge pole....

What were the ST sales this time last year???

Summer transfer window: Official ins/outs and transfer rumours

My 3yr old nephew is convinced that Messi plays for Morton....Bale @ Ibrox might not be so far fetched!!!! -
Actually like the look of that....if it's accurate

I believe, and I've said before that the media play a massive part in their transfer success.....it allows them to get vastly inflated prices out into the public domain, which results is fantastic prices for average players....Hooper & Wanyama are not exactly setting the English leagues alight are they???

Miller & Daly...our 2 new CB's!!!
-
Injured already???
-
Miller's last 1/2 season with us was his highest scoring tally of his career (in a single season)....what are the chances of him reaching those levels 4 years later???
-
Average age = 23 Boyd/Miller average age = 32 Would take any of them over Miller. Boyd I'd still take....

Not a fan of the Union flag watermark.....I don't think that a football club should base their top design around a national flag. On the plus point, it will really annoy the East end of the city!!!

I'm sure that Clark will score plenty of goals....if given the game time!!! -

Kenny Miller is NOT the player to take us forward!!! I never felt he was an outstanding goal scorer - his last 1/2 season being the exception. According to the stats from Wikipedia, Miller has made 121 appearances, scoring 57 goals - an average of 1 goal in 2.122 appearances. Jon Daly on the other hand has 34 appearances with 20 goals = and average of a goal every 1.7 games. Plus JD is 3 years younger. I will admit that KM is a VERY hard worker on the pitch - he does a lot of running, sometimes I feel it is without reward though. I think Daly & Clark are the way forward, certainly for next season. Clark is averaging a goal every 2.6 games, but when you consider that he never really got a decent run of games, I think there should be loads of room for improvement. If we are looking to bring in another striker, it should be someone younger, but is getting regular 1st team experience and is starting to make a name for themselves - Miller is looking for one last pay check before moving into coaching. -
Sports Direct refusing to take back my top
Darthter replied to Ser Barristan Selmy's topic in Rangers Chat
I may be wrong, but I think you are chasing the wrong company.... Any manufacturing warranty will be offered by the manufacturer (clue in the name), rather than the reseller. Sports Direct would have been obliged to rectify the fault within a suitable time scale (possibly 30 days). Out with that time, you need to take it up directly with Puma.- 31 replies

According to the "contract" quoted......the club can ONLY Repay the loans using ST money of shares. Are they not allowed to use cash from ANY other funding source?

I'm not doubting or debating that.....it is more the "I'm not giving you my cash", followed by "Why don't you have the cash to pay xxxxxxx" stance of the the original article/statement. I personally don't agree with the withholding of funds, but if folk think that is the best way to help the club move forward, that is entirely their decision.

They are collecting pledges, but the club is not receiving the cash, therefore depriving - AT THE MOMENT - the club of much needed funds. We all know why they are doing it, but to then go on & raise questions overs the current finances doesn't sit right with me. The sale of ST has been slow, this is partly as a direct result of the UoF/DK initialtive to collect the pledges within a framework that the club have said will never work due to the securities requested never being given. I just don't think it is right for the fans to actively withhold cash (which is the clubs main income stream), then to turn round & criticize the club for not having enough funds to repay a debt which may or may not be due right now.....
