  1. How do we repay the loan, when we have no cash & we have just signed away 26% of our holding in the company responsible for our merchandise??? we have increased our debt & reduced our income....
  2. Based on the wording above, I would expect the floating & fixed charges to include specific exception for Ibrox....
  3. Am I right in thinking that if there is another insolvency, SD/Ashley have 1st dibs on MP, Albion CP & Edmiston House (possibly even Ibrox as well))????
  4. Problem: Lack of funds/increased debt Solution: Increase debt to pay off current debt & at the same time drastically reduce what should be one of the most important/consistent revenue stream. Someone should send the board a link to YourMoneyExpert.com
  5. Look on the plus side..... Thanks to this new Long Term* financial arrangement, the club is now financially stable.. The monthly wage bill will be paid, along with possibly 1 or 2 others. We are also safe in the knowledge that we will have another 2 highly experienced businessmen appointed to our board of directors, and that our future merchandise sale are being managed in the best manner possible. We also have the added security of knowing that we have enough funds available (via a fantastic credit arrangement) for next months wage bill, we have cleared all previous debt to Mr Ashley & that the securities that he held over various assets have now been relinquished. All in a fantastic deal.....for someone!!!! *Current Board definition of long term = 7 days. In all seriousness, I would love to hear the boards justification for accepting this deal.....anyone with 1/2 a brain cell can see how crap it is for the club.
  6. I ain't financial guru....but holy $hit, that's a great deal - for SD/Ashley!!!!! Floating charge over all assets Fixed charge over everything except Ibrox Additional 25% stake in retail 2 more board members All for effectively £2m.....since the 2nd £5m is not 100% guaranteed.
  7. I don't know if Gattuso is the answer long term, but McDowell doesn't want to do the job. Hopefully someone may have had a wee chat with him over the weekend, and if it seems suitable, bring him in till the end of the season, with an option for another year (14 days notice).
  8. My thinking is that a conf call is the only way the SFA might actually get to discuss things with Ashley. There was NEVER any chance of him attending Hampden for a face-to-face.
  9. I saw the ad in yesterdays Sunday Herald.....the only response to it was to laugh!!!!
  10. If he's not getting security over Ibrox/MP, I would put my mortgage on increasing his share percentage in Rangers Retail!!!
  11. We don't have a lot of options though... We are still paying the previous manager £800k a year wage. The current caretaker manager doesn't want the job. The corporate side of the club is a shambles We have no money Playing in the 2nd tier of Scottish football - hoping for a play-off place to get promoted Hardly gonna entice Mourino to sign up.....
  12. 100% agree.... IF they do bring anyone new in as Manager, it needs to be until end of season as a maximum. Hopefully by that time, a more stable structure will be in place & the club will be able to attract a decent standard on coaching team.
  13. I would happily give him to the end of the season. He clearly still has a strong attachment to the club & has always said he would like to return. Offer him a wage in keeping with other clubs & see what his response is.
  14. unfortunately, a precedent was set with Black.....if the accusations are upheld, we most likely can't sack him or he could raise a grievance against the club.
  15. Chuckles supposedly in for Knee surgery.....hmmm, maybe he wanted to vote against certain board members????
  16. bottom line is that if the requisition doesn't meet the required criteria, it won't get accepted - whether 50,000 folk sign a petition or not. If the requisition has not been completed correctly, it is 100% down to King - however I would like to think that he has ensured 100% that all the t's are crossed & i's are dotted.
  17. They are united in their desired outcome, but are not officially working together (concert party...) Stock Market rules state that once any shareholder crosses the 30% mark, they must make an offer for all remaining shares. By operating individually, they don't pass the 30% mark.
  18. Yes....The Easdales still have control of 26% of the vote. Offer price is the highest in the past 12 months (I believe). 52-week high is 35p. I don't believe that ANY shareholder is obliged to accept.
  19. I think the 3B's & King should officially unite, taking them over the 30% threshold & therefore forcing them to place an offer for ALL remaining shares. I am certain that there will be some shareholders out there that will happily sell.
  20. Sandy Easdale is not a director of the PLC company - he is chairman of an internal football board. Officially, his position does not have any dealings with RIFC. King on the other hand, want's onto the PLC board - however, I'm sure it is something that he has investigated thoroughly.
  21. It's almost as if the 3Bears or anyone else have not submitted any other offers. IMHO, the language used all points to Ashley's loan (& associated conditions) being accepted. Funding new players isn't a top priority right now - stabilising the corporate/financial side of the club is of the utmost importance - we can worry about new players later on.
