Unbelievable..... He claims that the fans/shareholders will turn the egm into a farce.....I'm sorry, but the board are already well ahead on that front!!!!

Rangers skipper Lee McCulloch will fight his two-match stamp ban
Darthter replied to pete's topic in Rangers Chat
In Jig's case I think he is getting "dirtier" as his skill level decreases. He simply can't compete with many of the opposing players & has to resort to fouling them. Get Zaliuska or Faure in beside McGregor. -
Rangers egm WILL be put off if too many fans descend on London...

If they wanted something indoors, what about Murray Park??? Does it not have an indoor training pitch?? throw out some chairs, and stick a wee stage out - Job done!!! -
RIFC - Further breach of AIM Rule Rule 22?
Darthter replied to govan_derriere's topic in Rangers Chat
"Couldn't find a hotel" or "Couldn't find a suitable venue" have got to be the worst excuses possible - when you own a 50,000 seater stadium & used it previously for AGM purposes. -
but the DR has a higher number of readers, therefore the ban has more of an impact....bottom line is, it's all for show & to try and discredit anything the record prints. I'm sure Ferguson will be fine if he's there on non-DR business. After all, he is not only a fan but a fellow manager.

Ross County chief: chaos at Ibrox has caused sponsor delays...
Darthter replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
And how exactly is that the fault of Rangers??? If Ross County are not producing the goods to entice fans into the stadium, that's their fault.....or are they too reliant on home games against Rangers & Ceptic to boost their coffers etc. -
He could then start a 1-man chant of "cheerio, cheerio, cheerio" (Mexican wave optional)
-
How good would it be if there was only one person in attendance, single handedly holding proxies for 65% of shareholders....
-
I think they are just trying to discredit the DR.....and maybe pull in a couple DR haters to boot. DR starts getting a bit close to the truth, so the board, very publicly ban the paper & therefore giving the impression that what they are printing is false. However, If it was really false/untrue, a more convincing approach would be a legal route.

Sons Of Struth announce plans for Friday night demo v Hibernian

no....but the media will be!!! -
Rangers caretaker boss Kenny McDowall apologises to fans
Darthter replied to pete's topic in Rangers Chat
Less of the apologies & "we must raise our game" comments.....just get out there and do it!!! It's all just words, never backed up by ANY response. I would put money on our next performance being very mediocre (at best). -
Dave King cleared by SARS ahead of bid for Rangers throne
Darthter replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
Why let the truth get in the way of a good smear campaign??? If the board stick to their "Party line" that King is unfit to serve as a director, there will be people that will believe that - regardless of any other evident placed in front of them....there will always be that doubt. This was a key strategy used by "Better Together" during the recent referendum battle. I think in this case, too many of the fans/shareholders can clearly see that the current board are not fit for purpose (even though they satisfy AIM/SFA criteria) - They have had enough. Other shareholders will also be aware of the fans protests and the decreasing attendances..... -
So why remove the notification then??? Or why not reword the notification to avoid any confusion, rather than remove it completely??? Also, why the need to issue another (official AIM) statement, to clarify the previous web site statement that had nothing at all wrong with it???
-
The real reason for the ban is most likely that the DR was getting too close to the truth......
-
Swings both ways.....King & 3bears are in a position to make things VERY awkward for Cashley.....
-
I found this line particularly amusing..... While I was never a fan of King's proposed scheme, it is pushing things to amazing lengths to suggest that is the root cause of all the issues over the past 3 years. Obviously he feels that the board have been doing sterling work & have ran the club in an exemplary manner. The truth is, the Board have been making it VERY easy for fans to stay away - they are the ones to blame.
-
Not 100% convinced by King/Murray/Gilligan, but they are without doubt light years ahead of what we have just now.
-
What a load of pi5h.....everyone knows that Jimmy Nail is a long term injury!!!!
-
My thinking was that the board could use it as an excuse to reject the egm and also to discredit the rfb.....llambias could claim that the rfb were informed prior to official announcement in confidence & good faith.... On the other hand, I may be reading too much into it...

Could the fact that the date has been released before a formal stock exchange announcement have any possible ramifications???

He must have been practising then.....I cannae mind him hitting 1 in 4 crosses past ANY opposing player from ANYWHERE on the pitch!!!

I see the Easdales as more the defensive types.....should do well @ parking the bus!!!
-
We have these 5 players now, so they should get a chance.....but as someone else said - No-one should have a guaranteed starting place. If they perform, they keep their place. Can you imagine the embarrassment of being dropped in favour of Jig....that should spur anyone on.

Almost a std clause in our signing contracts.....

Where's the other 2???
