Dave King may have to offer you 20p for your shares
Darthter replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
I'm lost.... It has been ruled that DK & the 3 Bears were working together & that their collective shareholding is greater than 30%. Therefore they are obliged to make an offer of 20p per share to all other shareholders. But as rbr says, that is way below market value and (virtually) no-one will accept. Therefore, DK/3Bears have made the offer, sellers have refused,....all conditions met. Where's the problem. Am I also right in thinking that DK is arguing this point & that offering to buy shares at 20p is a complete waste of everyone's time coz no-one will sell at that price??? -

What happens if DK puts out an offer of 20p per share, and no-one sells??? Does that keep the authorities happy?? -
One reason that suggested Bomber, is that he's already employed by the company (is he not??)

Barry Ferguson couldn't coach @ Clyde.....why would he be any better @ Rangers??? Folk are criticising Pedro for his experience, so based on that McCann should be well & truly ruled out. He may be able to talk a good game, but has not experience implementing it. I still say Murty is a good should....but what about Bomber?? or even Pedro Mendes as part of the backroom staff??? Possibly Miller as a player/coach.

They will NOT go into any detail about the recruitment process - why would they. The most you'll get is that it was a thorough process. The followed a process & they appointed someone - end of story.

Will SFA Compliance Officer offer Dembele a 2 game ban?

Interesting that Hill didn't know if Pedro was there or not....

Could do a lot worse than Graeme Murty.....

I thought we showed great mentality yesterday. There have been many teams that have caused Ceptic to struggle in the 1st half of games, then they start to wilt, and Ceptic just over-run them.....we maintained out standard throughout the game & caused them to struggle.
-
The thing is that he must maintain results from the get-go......a couple of wins under his belt will settle anyone who is unsure of his ability. That's why I think he will only implement a couple of minor tweaks - maybe keep Tav in the midfield slot for example. I though Wilson put in a good shift yesterday as well, and will most certainly be in the managers planned starting 11.

So, we have our new manager in place. Do folk think that he should be making any sweeping changes etc in order to bring things into his way of playing ASAP, or pretty much sticking with what we've been doing & only making minor adjustments until the end of the season??? With a handful of games left to play in the league (8??), there is a risk that if he tries to implement wholesale change, that the team might struggle to adapt & end up dropping points (initially) then limping over the line. On the other hand if he tries to maintain what they are doing with only a few wee tweeks, we should be able to cruise home to the EoS & hopefully get that 2nd spot back from Aberdeen. He will then have the close-season to work/mould the players as required. I think that the introduction of the new manager will give the players a massive boost overall. It would be interesting to know what changes he DOES introduce straight away....

He'd be criticised for "behaviour unbecoming of a Rangers Manager"

This managerial appointment is embarrassing
Darthter replied to Ser Barristan Selmy's topic in Rangers Chat
I think folk tend to forget that CV could have come from ANYWHERE - There would have been nothing stopping me from submitting my CV. As FS says most were probably put straight in the bin. I also saw folk commenting that the Bookies "struggled" to list 15 candidates.....made me chuckle - we gauge the popularity of our Managers position by the number of candidates the Bookies come up with We simply have no ideas as to the number of candidates that made the paper sift, then interviews etc....and neither do/did the media. We have no idea if Pedro was the no.1 candidate or whether he was the 21st candidate. What is important is that he ultimately won the race & has been awarded the job. What he has done previously is irrelevant now. And for those folk who go on about him only having a 41.1% win ratio.....The "mighty" Brenda had a 40% win ratio before arriving at the Midden. Let's just let him get on with the job. Let's see how the players react to his training methods & management style.....we may be pleasantly surprised. The bottom line is that nobody on here has any practical knowledge of PC....yet they still believe that they have a basis to criticise him, BEFORE he's even taken a training session. -

Has anyone on here actually seen any if Pedro's teams in action??? -
It is amusing though....couple of days ago they "knew" nothing....now they know what colour of carpet he's putting in the managers office.
-
Is it just me, or do the media appear to have an awful lot of "factual" information now??? Even though there is still nothing coming out of the club. Yet, all reports still don't know WHEN he is actually going to be unveiled.
-
Agreed...it's about what he DOES, not what he DID...
-
Folk are going on about Caixhina's experience & what he's achieved.....Exactly what had Brenda achieved before moving to Ceptic.???
-
Chances are that "Ex-Rangers" player will be McCoist....
-
His club at the time have very close links with Ceptic....his comments mean nothing.
-
Mental (it's rhyming slang)
-
The search is over.... Coisty says no DoF, and Wattie says McInnes. Problem solved, RFC - get it sorted.
-
Brenda Rodgers

Seriously???? Why on earth would the club publicly admit that someone had knocked back a job offer??? Is this the level of "transparency" that fans are expecting now??? A wee email sent to fans saying "right lads....offered Wilson the job, knocked it back. need to try & someone else now - any ideas??" Till now, there has been virtually zero hard info coming out of the club as to who they have even spoken to about either role. Anything that the media are putting out is very close to pure speculation - they have no hard facts...if they did, we would know EXACTLY who was interviewed. This is backed by the fact that the media are heavily pushing McInnes, yet have to ask Stewart Milne if RFC have made any contact (only to be told NO). It sounds to me like Wilson has possibly not been offered the position and is trying to save face but saying he refused the job - looks a lot better than saying someone else got it!!!
