  1. Still can't believe that "challenge"....looks at Stokes' face - it's pure anger & aggression. There is absolutely NO attempt to get the ball & actually LEADS with a right fist into Tav's head/jaw. Unfortunately, Stokes gets away without any further punishment coz the ref "dealt" with it at the time, issuing a yellow card. Why Tav got booked, we'll never know.
  2. Player: Ryan Jack, Rangers FC Match: Rangers FC vs Hibernian FC on Saturday, 12 August 2017 Competition: Scottish Premiership Case: Claim of wrongful dismissal for A2 offence of violent conduct Outcome: Player Reference Upheld. Red card rescinded. http://www.scottishfa.co.uk/scottish_fa_news.cfm?page=2566&newsCategoryID=1&newsID=17141
  3. Kneel Lemon's obviously jealous coz he can't understand the big words that 15 yr olds use. Maybe one day he'll be allowed to progress from crayon
  4. Just noticed that Motherwell player got sent off TWICE in 3 days...but has now had one of them rescinded.
  5. Need to run it by Liewell 1st....he's on his lunch just now
  6. Wonder what would happen is Club1972 started demanding meetings with Mr Doncaster???
  7. There is only one way to release the grip they have....beat them on the pitch!!! Overcome anything that is put in our path & win. I believe they are reliant on the CL monies....take that away from them & they will struggle, maybe not initially, but the effects won't take long to become visible. They have a massive player pool, on good wages. the majority of these players are not playing so therefore can't command massive transfers or even general interest from other teams. Therefore contract wither need to be run-down or paid off - both require funds to do so. Beating them regularly will also start to shatter the "unbeatable" illusion. A single win will put a crack in the glass.....couple of wins and that crack starts to spread & grow. This then instils confidence in the other teams who start believing that they have a chance - this has been shown in matches against us.
  8. Really made me laugh....the "bullies & intimidators" - how many other clubs/fans are still ACTIVELY pursuing this issue??? How many other fans groups have demanded meetings with SPFL/SFA bosses to discuss this issue??? There is only ONE group acting as a bully/intimidator, and that is the Ceptic fans groups!!! Another point they are making is that if you don't stand with the Ceptic fans on this issue, you can't be an honest or decent supporter (coz they all are...). As for the comments about the 5-way agreement & the Court room analogy.....the clue is in the name 5-way AGREEMENT. It was not a judgement handed down by the authorities to be enforced....it was an AGREEMENT to allow everyone involved to actively move forward. Also, it wasn't produced for the "Good of Scottish football", it was a solution to a specific issue and is only relevant to those who signed it. Time that these eejits just got on with their day-to-day dribbling.....
  9. ....and the fans behaving. That means a change in song sheet, no flares/pyro & exemplary behaviour wherever they go. The less ammunition the fans give, the less there will be to beat us with.
  10. It's actually an accurate description...I would have more expected it to read: "It came after he appeared to shove Dylan McGeouch before appearing to head butt Anthony Stokes."
  11. Halliday's was also single arm...more like punching the air.
  12. Small point of note: Halliday DIDN'T receive a red card for his gesture @ Morton. He in fact received a YELLOW, but since he had already been booked, it resulted in his sending off. A small, but important point!!!
  13. I suppose that's ONE way of putting it....most would term it assault!!!!
  14. I mentioned this in another thread.... Is there or has there ever been ANYONE in Scottish football that has been involved in sooooo much (continued) controversy over the years, either as player or manager???
  15. Listening to Clyde SSB last night & Big DJ was adamant that there was no bias or conspiracy from the Ref - he simply had a really bad game. This got me thinking....in order for this to be true, it would be logical that the ref got decisions against Hibs wrong as well, however I can't recall any real incidents against hibs players that you'd class as controversial or wrong??? According to BBC sport stats, we committed 15 fouls to Hibs 14, yet we received 6 yellows & 1 straight red. Hibs received 3 yellows. I believe that those stats support the idea that the ref was indeed favouring the hibs players - especially given the photo evidence of some of the challenges against RFC players. If you were to simply look at the stats without seeing the game, you'd think that we were simply kicking Hibs all over the park, and cutting them down at every opportunity. Watching the games shows that NOT to be the case. If you want MORE evidence of bias...have a wee look at this montage of images: http://www.glasgowlive.co.uk/sport/football/match-reports/rangers-2-hibs-3-best-13469029 Not a single photo of the Tav/Stokes incident - except for Tav getting booked, but several of the Jack sending off. Also nothing of McGregors assault on Morelos. Also look at the photo at the 57sec mark, it looks like the Hibs player "stamping" on Wes.
  16. Around the 55 sec mark....Jack makes a head movement which is VERY similar to a head butt.
  17. I'm sure there were plenty of folk in those seats that DO give a monkeys about what Lemon does....his actions could have led to crowd trouble....
  18. All comes down to situation & circumstance..... This match was supposedly marked as "high risk" by security/Polis, to then go out and do what Lemon did is just stupid & potentially dangerous.
  19. Easier for them to project the "victim" card for poor old Lenny....also gives them an excuse to rub it in that we got beaten.
  20. The media will ALWAYS choose the agenda that best suits them.....
  21. Clearly more interested in the fans behind him, than his players on the pitch....
  22. Highlighted a couple of (IMHO) Key points.... Firstly, I don't have any problem with managers celebrating a goal - whether it's Lemon, Brenda or anyone else, their team has just scored so why not celebrate it. However, I would expect that celebration to be predominantly directed towards his players, not directing gestures to opposing fans. Secondly, Does Smith believe that Lemon behaved in a "proper manner" by directing inflammatory gestures towards opposing fans, during what was already highlighted as a "high risk" match??? Has ANY other Scottish manager been involved is an many "touchline" incidents as Kneel Lemon???
  23. Totally....as I said they are not under the jurisdiction of the SFA/SPFL, so they cannot be punished for speaking out. They can be the voice that the club can't use.
  24. The club are in a difficult position....If they speak up, they will be taken to task by the authorities, if they don't it will be the fans they answer to. I am pretty sure that the club will be pursuing answers etc through the correct channels, and out of the medial spotlight. This, however will not please the RFC fan base though. IF the club comment publicly on what is happening, they MUST chose their words very wisely. This is where Club1872 comes into it's own....it is free from from the SFA/SPFL grasp, they don't fall under their authority & can therefore make public comment where the club can not....and have already done so. The flip side of this is that they can't directly force anything to happen, but at least they can make the views public.
  25. Very clear that Stokes has his hand on Jacks throat, and also very clear that the ref is looking straight at the whole incident. Check the ref's viewpoint @ 37 secs in the link above. From the "side" view it is clearly Stokes' head that is make the movement towards Jack - both heads come together, then Stokes is seen moving forward. It doesn't look like Jack's head moves at all. From the "rear" view, you can clearly see head movements from Jack, which does looks like a "head-butt" movement. IMHO, It is very clear that the ref was waiting on an opportunity to take action against a Gers player. Why didn't he step in as soon as Stokes grabbed Jack's neck??? There were several points where the ref COULD have stepped in, but didn't. Only chosing to do so when the Gers player reacted.
