I would tend to agree. While I'm not convinced about the ins & outs of the BK's bid, they at least have the best interests of the club in mind. However, I will keep an open mind due to the fact that we know absolutely nothing about the other bids.

BBC Claim Brian Kennedy bid for club has been rejected

I find it very strange....especially when added to the admins recent comment: -
Heard that Aluko got booked for "simulation" after being brought down by the Motherwell keeper.....maybe one of Willie Vass' photies should be sent to Mr Lunny: Image: Willie Vass

I think I read in the DR, that he MAY provide financial backup to the BKs.....IF IT's REQUIRED.... -

Administrators are taking too long says Brian Kennedy

Certainly doesn't sound like some that's none too bothered about having the winning bid..... -
Reading between the lines slightly..... What I think this statement makes clear is that he is not afraid to use his own money for the benefit of the club. In the case of Stockport, he either gave them cash from his pocket, or donated a substantial amount earn from the ground. He also appears to have invested heavily in Sale Sharks. As for moving stadiums....I read that this is commonplace in the US, where clubs will move cities/state in order to increase their revenue. While this leaves a large support behind, it also brings in large number of extra fans from a fresh community. In the case of RFC, I don't think any move would be needed due to the MASSIVE fan base already. I still think it all sounds positive about Kennedy, even without knowing his exact plans. At least compared to the BK's, he has funding!!!

I believe that has been a major reason for the apparent "failure" of MP. Coupled with the demise of the reserve league, a lot of promising/decent young players are simply not getting enough games in order to progress further. I'm sure the guys who do get a chance in the 1st team will say that the experience is invaluable. Hopefully, Young McCabe wil get a run in the 1st team - he deserves it after last weeks performance. Ross Perry has also shown that he is more than capable of coming in & doing a job. As I mentioned earlier in the thread, now is the time to get these guys some regular 1st team action. Games aren't completely meaningless - we're still fighting for 2nd place. That gets them used to the pressures of 1st team games. The attitude needs to change as well. Bringing these guys in for the odd game here & there will not help them develop....get them on the park regularly & encourage them. Once that happens, I'm sure folk will see some decent talent coming through MP.

I was just thinking that myself.... The SaveRangers campaign got millions of £££ in pledges, yet when it comes to actually putting cold hard cash in, its a different situation. Maybe everyone is saving to buy one of the BK's shares????

" 'scuse me Mr Lawwell.....you've got a bit of jelly & ice cream on yer face...." WS thinking: "Typical, cannae even eat jelly without makin a mess....bets he blames the ref for that as well!!!!" Bloke @ left: "JELLY....nae body telt me we wur still havin Jelly.....whur's mine????" Bloke in red tie: "HHHmmmm...looks like Strawberry jelly" Bloke in front of Liewell: "F**K me, that was a wet fart...better check the kecks later"

Now is the perfect time to get these young guys into the 1st team....league is lost, out of all cup comps, and highly likely no Europe next season. Get as many of these promising youngsters into the starting 11 and get them some experience.

My guess is that D&P know the details of all the bids....and the BK's bid doesn't match up to the amount of hype in the media or possibly the other bids.

I believe Lemmon is in this Country by his own choice.....If he doesn't like it he can f**k off back to his OWN country!!!!
-
so...without Ticketus, where does the money come from???
-
I heard they tried him in the Celtic FC Kids nursery....but he kept eating the glue & crayons!!! and couldn't be trusted with safety scissors....
-
It was a fantastically taken goal - especially for a defender!!!

Like THAT's gonna get picked up.....don't be daft!!!

Singapore consortium enters battle to take control of Rangers

I think yesterday's performance may tell any potential buyer that there is a fairly decent squad there, therefore MAJOR investment in the playing side may not be required - which may be a good thing for them...... -

I agree, the ref was a huge factor - he did his job properly (unlike Lemmon...), and didn't bow to Septic pressure. -
here's a thought for you....Aluko on one wing, Naismith on the other!!!! That's a pretty frightening combination!!!

It took the ref 22 sec to catch up to Boca who was doing a runner..... -
2 out of the 3 were harsh (Cha & Boca), but correct. They weren't nasty/dirty challenges, but they were last man/goal scoring opportunities, and therefore they had to walk. Wanyama's challenge was a 2 footed lunge, and as such is a straight red - it could have been nasty. The fact that there were 3 reds does give the impression that it was a dirty game, which it wasn't. It WAS very physical, with some tough tackles, but I thought the ref did a great job & let the game flow without the need to dish out numerous yellow cards.
-
There was definite contact. I think Wallace would have got the ball....the big question being what could he have done with it??? The ref made a decision, which I believe was correct. I also believe the other 2 reds were correct.
-
Unless I'm mistaken....I don't think the Admins have received a penny to date!!!! I believe (but maybe wrong) that any payment to them has to be ratified by the creditors before payment.

In an interview with Lemmon....he seeminly told the ref to "do his job properly", and allow him to do his. He also claims to have witnesses (A Thompson - convenient!!!) who will back up his story that it was a calm & rational discussion without any swearing..... Personally, I thought the ref had a pretty decent game....he let a lot of tough tackles go - ON BOTH SIDES, and I think only showed 1 (maybe 2) yellow cards. The 3 red cards IMHO don't truly reflect the nature of the game. Again IMHO, they were all justified!!! Lemmon just couldn't accept that his team had been played off the park!!!
