do any of the email actually state the amount in question???

Given the club's finances why not have our "pre-season" at Ibrox?
Darthter replied to Zappa's topic in Rangers Chat
Makes a lot of sense..... -
Was there not a payment due to Ticketus for circa £9m at some point over the summer last year??? It's possible that Grier knew there was A deal with Ticketus in place, but maybe didn't know all the details ie. the full amount and what it was originally for. An invoice for £9m to cover initial working capital sounds pretty easy to explain to me.....
-
I would think that Ally is doing his best to plan a pre-season, regardless of what else is going on. I would imagine that after the creditors meeting, any plans will become firmer as the chances of a creditor changing their mind after the meeting will be fairly low.
-
after the proposal has gone out, creditors have 14 days in which to go over it. After the 14 days a creditors meeting is held & the proposal is voted on. If it is accepted the creditors then have a 30 day cooling off period. Providing no-one changes their mind, its full steam ahead after that!!!

Aberdeen fans warn they'll boycott season tickets if club backs Rangers newco bid
-
Not necisarily stating that last nights info was all guess work....the ticketus section at lease showed some evidence. A lot of the rest was based on documentation that the BBC had seen. Again, these documents my be 100% valid, but without showing the hard evidence, the rest is then nothing more than speculation. What has just occurred to me is that the start of the Documentary was all about Ticketus - for which they displayed documentary proof to support their line of inquiry. However, there was very little in the way of hard evidence for the latter half of the program. Could this have been constructed in such a way to build the viewers confidence in what Daly was saying - because evidence was shown for somethings, the viewers assume that there is similar evidence for the rest without actually seing it!!!
-
According to the media this morning, Aberdeen fans are now threatening to boycott their games if a Rangers Newco is allowed straight back into SPL.... Combined with the Rangers fans boycotts of aways games - Looks like if a Newco happens, there are going to be some pretty empty stadiums next season....
-
The problem is that they are presenting speculation as fact, without providing substantial evidence to back up their claims. There are many, many people out there who simply believe what is put in front of them. There are many many folk out there who will have watched the program last night and believe every word, and will happily pass on that info, and form their own opinions. Eventually, something that may be nothing more that guesswork is deemed by the masses to be fact.
-
Think it was more to do with the EBT's where they claimed that they had seen evidence rather than be in possession of it.... The emails linked to are only connected to the Ticketus stuff....
-
One of the things I noticed in the program when referring to some "evidence".....they said that they had "SEEN documents" to support their claims. This implies that they are not actually in possession of said documents and would there for be unable to readily provided the hard evidence.
-
I found the whole program completely cringe worthy!!!! "In order to show this information, we set up a Data room...." - no, you've simple found an empty impressive looking office & used some semi-fancy post production graphics & a dodgy voice over..... As for the fan they used.....looked more like a character from Only an excuse!!! I loved someone's comment about the phone conversation being more like Ronald Villiers - class!!!! As for the evidence - nothing substantial, and in a lot of instances nothing at all. Mr double-barrel name EBT expert, spend longer talking about porn than he did about EBT's - top notch evidence there (unless Murray & Whyte are involved in the Porn industry...)

Even without the ban, I wouldn't take him!!! He's 27 at the moment. There would be no sell on profit after a couple of years - that purely based on his age, and not ability. I was listening to the Real Radio phone in the other night & they were discussing Black. All were saying that he was a capable player & had done well. Then the question was posed about him in the Scotland squad - everyone said a resounding NO - there are better players available. I would stick to the younger players!!!

I now know the final outcome of the battle between HMRC & Rangers FC. According to Google Fights - The teddy Bears batter HMRC well into submission.

Dave King claims he has first refusal on Whytes shares
Darthter replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
Here's a thought.... Who has legal precedence??? Whyte/King allegedly have a verbal agreement (legally binding under Scots Law), and Green/Whyte allegedly have a documented/signed agreement. According to Google Fights - The Green/White agreement wins!!! -
It doesn't really how any potential limit it calculated....what is important is that any punishment for breaching the limit is clearly defined BEFORE it actually happens.

set the allowed debt level as a percentage of company turnover - similar to a bank overdraft.

Wasn't today the date that CG said that the CVA proposal would go out??? Anyone heard anything??

Really looking forward to the football days again.

Dave King claims he has first refusal on Whytes shares
Darthter replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
Can't disagree with any of that....I'm thinking more going forward. Whyte probably couldn't have done what he did with the previous board in place. However, moving forward, all the "dirty" work has been done - the boardroom is virtually 100% clear (DK being the remainder) for a new owner to install a fresh board and with it a fresh direction for the club. -
Dave King claims he has first refusal on Whytes shares
Darthter replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
I feel this is exactly why a complete clear out is a must - possibly one good thing that Whyte actually did (with hindsight...) Since Whyte come in a cleared house, there has been a lot of sniping & bitching from the previous club officials. Some of this has proved to be true, the rest has proved to be simply bad blood. If DK has something legally binding to back up his claim (allegedly from Sept 2011), why has he not said anything about it till now??? The subject of CW's shares have been a hot topic since the club entered Administration, and not a peep has been mentioned or even rumoured. -
He doesn't have the shares yet - only on a successful CVA!!!
-
Green will take control of the club once the CVA is agreed. The transfer of CW's shares are dependant on the CVA being agreed. IF the CVA isn't agreed, he will ultimately take control via a Newco.
-
I'm not convinced...one way or another!!! The Green Consortium has certainly said a lot of the right things - I'll be convinced they those words turn into actions. On the flip side though, he has done nothing to convince me that it's a bad thing. There are 2 things that he has done so far - reached/signed an agreement for CW's shares, and signed a legal contract to take over the club either via CVA, or newco. That is more than any previous bidder. Based on that he is going to be the owner, whether any of us like it or not. As for the consortium itself.....as GovanAllan says, I don't care how many folk are in it, as long as they have the required cash and skills in order to initially stabilise the club, then take it forward. I also agree with CG about not revealing the names - what does it matter at this stage??? If the names are revealed, all that will happen is that the mhedia will did up ANYTHING they can find on them, which will only result in more bad press etc. Lets just get back to doing business where it belongs - behind closed doors. Let the fans get on with what they do best - Supporting the football team!!!
