He's basically been found guilty because he's stopped challenging the persistent claims. Similar to us.....we've been found guilt (by some) even though the evidence hasn't been presented and ruled upon. If Armstrong hasn't failed a drugs test (and I would imagine he's had a fair number), how can he be found guilty of cheating??? In our case, if the SFA/SPL have granted playing licenses over the years without questioning the EBT's which have been open & declared, how can we then be found "guilty" of cheating now???
-
Don't think Armstrong was ever found to have cheated - never failed a drugs test. Is it not the case that he's simply sick of refuting the allegations, and given up defending them.

Coz someone in Englandshire is less likely to be ware of all the facts, and would therefore base there assumptions/conclusions on the information presented to them by the person asking the questions.
-
Chuck starting to get quite worked up in that....good to hear him putting the interviewer straight on the "oldco/Newco" stuff very quickly. also very cagey about re-entry into the SPL....

IMHO, that's the problem with Miller....he will put in the effort, but he's never been the most prolific goal scorer. When he partnered Boyd @ Rangers, it was Miller that did all the leg work, with Boyd putting in the net. If Levein insists on starting Miller, he needs someone along side to assist ie. Rhodes. as for this: Who's faults that Mr Levein??? If we look back to when Walter & McLeish were in charge. The team were doing well & the fans were excited - we were capable of winning games. However I get the impression that confidence has dipped again. I would say that Levein probably has better players at the moment compared to what Smith & McLeish had.

Bill McMurdo - Questions The SPL And SFA Must Answer

This reads to me as a clear suggestion that he knows this has happened or is happening..... -
Ian Black's hand placement is a bit unfortunate in the 1st one....

Ness can still play due to being under 21.... He is listed in the Team section of the Stoke website

Francisco Sandaza: I joined Rangers to make history not fortunes
Darthter replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
I find this kinda ironic considering he knocked back a move in January because Rangers weren't offering enough cash & he wanted to hold out for something better. -
You can really argue from both sides....practice your default formation/tactics so that even fringe players are comfortable, but the problems with that is the opposition then know exactly how we are going to try & play and if you are forced to change things, it is then unfamiliar. The flip side is that you work on various formations, utilising players in maybe not their most favoured position so that as a manager you are comfortable changing things knowing that the team can still perform. What would folks reaction be if McCoist tried altering the formation during the match??? If it worked, he would be a tactical genius....fail & he's a moron who should be sacked. The team will gel fine during normal training session - that's why they have them!!!
-
Using it as a means to gel the team is a bit pointless when some key members of said team are away on int. duty.
-
Firstly, it gave the fringe players game time. 2nd, it gave Kyle much needed game time to sort out his fitness. 3rd it allowed McCoist to try something different, with nothing on the line. It also allowed him to see how the players could adapt to alternate positions, should they be required either through injury, or as a changeup during a match. Is that not the whole point of closed doors friendlies - to experiment???
-
That may require more than one kick (which would be permitted)

1st up...Mr C Green from Sheffield... Followed by Mr S Reagan

Lee McCulloch is ideal choice for skipper, says Pat Nevin
Darthter replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
Is it true that when you see Pat Nevin on the telly, he actually appears life size??? -
It's been the root cause of the majority of conflicts EVER!!!
-
Would agree with that. I always bugs the hell out me when there's a controversial topic on the news...."A spokes person for the Catholic Church comments.....". It's never a spokesperson from the Church of Scotland, Local Rabbi, mosque or whatever.....
-
kinda strange reactions considering we won the game 3-1..... I think it's actually quite promising that we have fringe players who can come in and still defeat a team like Falkirk (regular SPL team).
-
I'm pretty sure that McCoist said in his interview on RTV last night that clearance had been received.....I may have heard him wrong though.
-
I'm sure the actions in general were condoned @ the time. No need to do anything further.
-
It's got to originate from somewhere....may as well start @ the top!!!
-
Right, enough of this....its getting ridiculous now!!! We have now had several articles from this "author", and all have been well balanced and well written - what is Scottish journalism/blogging turning into??? At this rate, he'll never get a job in mainstream media!!! and they say Templeton has a lack of ambition!!!
-
I think winning the Scottish cup would be the cherry on the top. A win there would mean European qualification (which we obviously can't use), but it would still be nice to qualify!!!
