I didn't really have any problems, except forgetting my password.....when I tried the "forgotten password" option, it didn't recognise my email address. I did eventually remember what the password was, and got them ordered. Hopefully lead to more matches over the coming season.....

More likely trying out a team for the cup match on Sunday, and for the league starting... If Moshni signs, he can't play till Sept.....

Just ordered my ticket for the Newcastle match....1st time @ Ibrox for a couple of years. Section GF5 Looking forward to it!!!

That's imaginative.... What's wrong with just have divisions 1-4??? Why the need for a fancy name???

I think the last season has shown that there is some very capable players coming through the ranks, but have not had a real crack @ the 1st team. Get the more promising youngsters into the 1st team & get a few games under their belts....then create some media attention/frenzy around them (possibly attaching a ridiculous price tag), and sell on for a handsome profit, simples!!!

Our problem in the past has been paying premium prices for medium goods.....we then make substantial loses when sold on as no-one else will pay anywhere near the premium that we paid. I get the impression that we are spending wiser just now, which doesn't always result in lower quality. Guys like Temps & Clark are all still young and have bags of potential - after a couple of good seasons, and some creative PR either of these players could be sold for multiple millions. Nothing wrong with "bargain basement hunting" providing that you can identify the real bargains and the "diamonds in the rough"

I think the main difference is that Ceptic have a proven & settled squad - we don't, its a complete unknown at present. Potentially, I believe that we have a squad capable of competing with ANYONE in Scotland. We showed this last year against Motherwell, the main issue was that we were unable to maintain that standard. We have a squad containing some of the SPL's best players over last couple of years.....if the coaching staff can get these players working as an effective team-unit, I think many folk will be in for a surprise - especially Ceptic. I also think it is tactical with the constant reference to being miles behind Ceptic. Let the others get comfortable with Rangers still not being at full strength, then give them a battering when they play. Also psychological for the players.....if they believe that the quality is where it was a couple of years ago, they may be inclined to "switch off" and get complacent.

“Apparently” ? In fairness, I think Keevin is just covering his back (in a legal sense). I assume he was at the games in Germany & Holland and heard any chants/songs etc 1st hand. I am also assuming that he wasn't @ the Ceptic game, and is therefore basing his comment on 3rd party reports.

EVERY game was broadcast on RTV last season. For viewers in the UK these were available from midnight after the game. There were a few games that were broadcast live in the UK on a PPV basis. I can't see this being any different for this coming season....

....and their connection with Craig Whyte is?????

Thought the black 3rd strip looked excellent against Brora - even the shorts looked normal (proper sizes???)

Neil Doncaster: Nine-year TV contract shows I am the real deal
Darthter replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
Wouldn't it make more sense to firstly sell the game to the Scottish fans, who (in general) have been staying away in increasing numbers??? Or is it a case of selling a load of bullsh*t PR & spin to the rest of the world, using figures no doubt "massaged" by RFC attendances. Maybe if he can convince the rest of the world that St Mirren v Partick Thistle is a derby game to rival the best in the world, we might be onto a winner. -
According to today's paper, Neil Doncaster has been appointed Chief Exec of the SPFL.....no surprise there then. This also makes the SPL's takeover complete.....the last remnants of the SFL will be consigned to the history books, while Scottish football is dragged further behind the rest of the world.

Pure class....the club being sold on the corporate version of eBay......

With that approach, there would have been just as much criticism - too easy going etc.

That'll easily hit 10.5 mph with a decent tail-wind....

The Summer 2013 Transfers and Rumours Thread
Darthter replied to der Berliner's topic in Rangers Chat
would totally agree with that.... However I think that Ceptic use the mhedia to their advantage. They come out with ridiculous valuations for some of their players, which attracts a bit of attention/short term ridicule. However, That valuation is then in the public domain and sticks. They then get a handsome fee for a very average player. -
Most likely because we were still Associate members.....However, in the SPFL, we are back to being full members with voting rights.

Link the keepers kit...a bit different from the plain yellow. REALLY don't get the BIG shorts though. the cut of the tops looks slick, but completely ruined by the MASSIVE flared shorts.

Based on the info provided,...its clear that Nike & Adidas are way ahead of Puma. However, Puma are still twice the size of Umbro.....which has to be a positive thing. Nike & Adidas also have premium price tags to match, it will be interesting to see how the cost of the Puma shirts compare.

I believe we could pay it....either through cash or with-holding prize money. -

What is actually stated is probably fact...it's how its presented - especially where HMRC is concerned - that is the problem. RFC's Issue with the tax man is portrayed as being the most horendous crime known to man (along with the other crimes). Hearts issues with the same body, over the same issues is portrayed as being a valiant effort from Hearts to meet their obligations. The real truth is that firstly HMRC allowed RFC to run up a £13m debt before they acted. Hearts have had several Winding-up orders thrown at them due to non-payment of monies. They reached agreement with HMRC over the re-payments, then get hit with ANOTHER bill for outstanding monies, which they failed to pay in completion. They have also failed to pay players/staff of several occasions, in some cases with delays of 2-3 months (Remember Ian Black talking about starting Painting & decorating again to cover his own costs). What has been Hearts punishment to date - a couple of transfer embargo's.....WHEN THE TRANSFER WINDOW IS CLOSED!!!! Hearts Administrator is quoted in the paper today saying that any fine handed down by the SFA could finally sink the club once & for all.....who wants to bet that no fine will be dished out??? -
Like the away & 3rd kits....kinda under-whelmed with the main kit. At least the collar ain't quite as bad as some of the others we've seen!!! Could they not have got shorts to properly fit the guys for the photo shoot (especially Smith...)??? Or are they intentionally big & baggy???

bit of a shame that its loaded with last seasons kit...
