If they do seek "clarification" they have to do it through the proper channels.....not through the media!!!!

I would like to hear the SFA's justification for not handing out a fine. In our case the fine was handed to the Oldco, and therefore highly unlikely to get paid. Maybe they view the Hearts situation similarly ie. nae chance of getting paid??? Handing them ANOTHER transfer embargo will not really effect them anyway. They currently can't sign players anyway due to being in administration.

ANOTHER transfer ban.....I've lost count how many they have had over the past couple of years...... Why no fine???

Possibly depends on wage demands.... In order to meet Pandza's wage, they may have needed to free up some extra. The 2 trialists may require considerably less money....

I get the impression that Black thinks he is better @ dead-balls than he actually is - maybe a few extra hours on the training ground each day/week would help him get the ball past the wall/1st defender.....

Remember, there is no rule in the Scottish game stipulating that Football debts MUST be paid before all others. In our case it was part of the "5-way agreement" to allow us back into the Scottish league structure. I would actually like the club to make a VERY public statement along the lines of: "In the interests of sporting integrity, and because its the right thing to do, RFC are willing to right-off the money that Hearts owe to the club. We hope this gesture helps the club stay afloat/alive"

I'm definitely not a Royalist, but they are nice to have.....I would like to keep the Queen as head of state when we go independent.

Dunfermline saved from liquidation as creditors waive debt Dunfermline will soon be in the hands of fans' group Pars United after creditors voted in favour of accepting a company voluntary arrangement. The Fife club has been in administration since March, with debts of around £10m. Former owner Gavin Masterton abstained from the CVA vote, giving up his claim on £8m owed to him and his companies. The £500,000 raised by supporters will pay staff who were made redundant and secure East End Park stadium. Pars United are now seeking further backing and hope to add to the 1400 season tickets sold over an uncertain summer. Former Dunfermline player and manager Jim Leishman - who helped front the supporters' bid - said: "This is a fantastic day. â??This vote will allow Dunfermline Athletic to begin a rebuilding process under a wide spread of supporter ownershipâ? Bob Garmory Pars United "Up until yesterday, we were still having meetings discussing what might happen if the CVA did not go through. "It's through now and there is nothing standing in our way now. Now we have got to make sure we have got sustainability and ensure we can survive going forward." The club's shares were sold for £1, while £80,000 will go to preferred creditors, with former players and staff receiving back-dated pay in full. Pars United will assume responsibility for all "footballing debts", which administrators BDO say "are understood not to exceed £170,000" and pay BDO's fees of £100,000 plus VAT. Dunfermline's situation was complicated by their stadium being owned by a separate company, East End Park Ltd, which is being handled by a different administrator, KPMG. East End Park Ltd will receive the remainder of money left over, with their main creditor the bank. Administrators BDO, led by Bryan Jackson, took over the running of Dunfermline after a winding-up order was served by HM Revenue and Customs for a £134,000 tax bill. A 15-point penalty resulted in Dunfermline being relegated to Scottish League One via the play-offs. The club should now avoid a 10-point penalty for the forthcoming season and a £150,000 bond payable to the Scottish Football Association. Pars United's Bob Garmory said: "We thank each and every creditor who voted for this outcome. "We know that many have suffered greatly from the financial problems of the football club. We now pay tribute to them. This vote will allow Dunfermline Athletic to begin a rebuilding process under a wide spread of supporter ownership." http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/23494323

Also, the Hearts administrator said that ANY financial penalty could sink they club....I can see the SFA/SPFL holding off as long as physically possible so that they are not responsible for killing the club. Most probable outcome - transfer embargo (again...)
-
The point is...their own ground is capable of holding 6000 fans. The Council have said only 3000 tickets will be made available. It's not like they are simply looking to move to a larger venue, they simply want to fill their own ground!!!
-
From my understanding of the article, they don't want to switch venues since their own ground is big enough....it's the council that are being eejits and slashing the available capacity, even though the Police etc are happy.

Novo: It breaks my heart that Ally doesn't want me

Miller had had his chance - TWICE.....and TWICE he has turned his back on the club, most likely in pursuit of more cash. He's now nearing the end of his career & looking for a club that will still pay him a good wage. In fairness, Miller has the better strike ratio (according to Wikipedia) Miller (Rangers): scored in 51% of games played Average of a goal every 1.94 games Miller (Career): Scored in 34% of games Average of a goal every 2.94 games Novo (Rangers): Scored in 26% of games played Average of a goal every 3.8 games Novo (career): Scored in 30.67 games played Averaged of a goal every 3.25 games I'd still take Novo before Miller..... -
Novo: It breaks my heart that Ally doesn't want me

I think the main thing that separates Miller & Novo is passion. Novo always gave 100%, and would terrorise defences all match long. Miller tended to do a lot of running about but was never as much of a pain in the ar*e for the opposition as Novo was. Also, Novo clearly loves the club - when was the last time Miller attended a match as a fan??? I would love to see McCoist bring Nacho back on a player/coach type contract - I think he could have a massively positive influence on the squad. -

They all tend to get bumped to the left side, to make room for Little. -

Also, we don't need a left winger who can play on the right.....we need a RIGHT winger!!!! -

If we are looking for another striker, I would want one that can score goals.....26 goals in 8 years is a terrible ratio for a player who's primary function is to score. Jig, who isn't normally a striker scored more in one season than this guy has in 8. If McCoist is looking for an experienced striker, who knows where the net is....there was one in the stand yesterday - Wee Nacho. Similar age to this guy, but has a proven track record of being a right pain in Scottish defensive ar*es, and knows where the goal is!!! -

doesn't sound like the best of options to me....even Kenny Miller scored more than that!!! -
Jim Henry talked about GPS data/information in a recent interview, specifically about work rate & distance covered etc. Interview available on RTV...

I'm surprised the Davie Cooper hasn't featured as a 1st pick in more sides...him & Laudrup in the same side would have been immense.

would be interesting to see the data picked up by the heart monitors @ that precise moment....

He'll be a free agent again in January - only signed a 6 month extension.... -
UEFA obviously don't understand that these are the "best fans in the world" & their only having a bit of fun/craic.... In truth, they should be absolutely hammered!!!! They were fined for letting off flares previously during a CL game....they have only gone & done it again - repeat offenders. Whether the Brentford games behaviour will come into it, I don't know.

Kennedy, is a Hibs an & a Rugby fan....he wasn't looking to take over because of his love for the club!!! He also didn't make his millions by shelling out ££££ on a whim - he was looking for a financial reward!!! How that would have compared to Green....we'll never know. Would he have installed "better" folk on the board...we'll never know.
