  1. I would say....YES. All it serves to do is fuel the flames of paranoia. The accounts will come out and immediately be met with scepticism - It's Green's man covering things up etc. Not every employee, company or corporation out there is against this club.
  2. The best course of action is to report any similar offences/comments etc. Each individual complaint will most likely be met with the same de facto response, however someone will eventually notice the number of instances mounting up to the point that it can't be ignored or brushed under the carpet.
  3. Wallace has been playing consistently well since he signed - including when in the SPL. He is in the Scotland squad coz he's the best LB!!!
  4. The main real difference is that Rangers are not a typical 3rd tier club - they are a top tier club, playing in the 3rd. A normal 3rd tier LB would not get a look in.
  5. This may well be highly controversial.... Maybe there is a reason for the lack of defence of John Grieg......maybe there is nothing to defend!!! Maybe all those that Leggat is looking to defend are actually thinking "Lovely guy, Rangers to the core....but maybe best not to submit the MENSA application" I don't know Mr Grieg at all & I've no idea what sort of many he is. In saying that, it gives Mr Irvine no excuse or pardon for his alleged comments.
  6. Please define??? You could argue, if looking at the situations as of today....Rangers are sitting clear @ the top of their league, Ceptic are currently 2nd in their league (with a game in hand, but poorer goal diff.) - depends on you personal point of view....
  7. can the whole board not be replaced at the AGM anyway???? If so, what real benefit is there of adding a couple of folk, then their positions be up for a vote a few weeks later.....
  8. about time..... Waldo has been absolutely outstanding...
  9. Ceptic may be raking in the cash....but they ain't spending a helluva lot on new players!!!!
  10. it's also "them" that are providing an account of things that is distributed to thousands of unsuspecting readers on a daily basis. It's not difficult to paint one party in VERY bad light while still sticking to the basic facts of a story. If the club were to ban the BBC completely, and the BBC then do a number of follow up reports stating that they have been victimised by a club who has a history of banning media sources who don't just publish what the club wants etc.....how does the club combat that (providing the reports sticks to facts). The only real outlet is via the club website....which is only read by fans, and therefore the thousands of folk who read the paper or watched a news report are only hearing one side of the story & take it as fact.
  11. either 3-0 or 4-0..... Would love to see Clark get a couple.
  12. maybe coz folk (on here certainly) would hit the roof if he got interviewed by the Sun or the Record - see previous threads about the Easdales interviews etc.
  13. The shareprice has increased quite notably since the £14m figured was mentioned....what price DID Easdale pay???
  14. Have the shares been transferred/sold immediately??? Is the lock-in period for Green still applicable??? What is Easdale's exact shareholding now then???
  15. If the transfer window closed on the 2nd.....you could bet yer hoose that the embargo would also end on the 2nd!!!
  16. an they'll all be pure sh*ting themselves at the thought of playing the "mighty" ceptic.....
  17. A lot has changed since June....most noticeably - Ricky Foster!!!! Cole may have thought he had a chance before Foster signed....after that he may have realised that the chances of him getting a game dropped considerably. Rather than acting like a professional and knuckling down to some hard graft to impress the Boss, he simply switched off & paid the price.
  18. McGills buses are the main sponsors of the event....
  19. Maybe he just doesn't want to go to Greece!!!
  20. Still missing the country's best left back.....
  21. The auditors are simply there to verify that the accounts are correctly & accurately presented.....
  22. This is painting a picture of all out war between Mather & McColl......yet Mather commented last night on TV, that they had a good relationship, and all discussions were very amicable.
  23. according to the Audit Bureau of Circulation, both the Record & the Sun are the only publications with daily circulations over 200,000, with the sun selling 40,000 more per day than the Record. Both papers are still selling more than double their nearest competitor (The Daily Mail) Average taken July last year, to last month The Scottish Sun – 12.3 cent drop = 297,123 to 260,528 Daily Record – 9.4 per drop = 247,041 to 223,762 Scottish Daily Mail – 7.6 per cent drop = 103,927 to 96,038 Scottish Daily Express – five per cent drop = 57,681 to 54,769 Daily Star of Scotland – 16.3 per cent drop = 59,545 to 49,792 Daily Mirror – 6.8 per cent drop = 21,246 to 19,803 Daily Telegraph – 3.6 per cent drop = 19,747 to 19,032 The Times – 0.6 per cent up = 18,829 to 18,938 i – 10.1 per cent up = 17,039 to 18,765 The Guardian – 9.6 per cent drop = 11,418 to 10,323 Independent – 16.4 per cent drop = 3,595 to 3,005 Financial Times – 10.4 per cent drop = 2,761 to 2,475 Source: http://www.allmediascotland.com/press/52790/sales-in-scotland-figures-as-ever-slipping-downwards-for-dailies-and-sundays/
  24. Providing the article is accurate & correct....does it REALLY matter which publication prints it???
  25. SDM had 80%+ of the shareholding......the other shareholders were completely powerless to block any sale, as were the board. All they could do was voice their concerns & try to persuade SDM not to sell.
