  1. Hoping for a convincing win but fear it mighg be a struggle teams with a new manager usually have more to prove. Rangers 2 Jelavic, McKay St Johnstone 0
  2. I seen it earlier on and assumed it was true mate Haven't seen anything confirming this though I hope it is a rumour though, admin feel free to delete this thread.
  3. Seen on Twitter and FF this morning that the great man has been struck with cancer again..! Sad News and would just like to wish him a speedy recovery. Get well soon the Greatest Rangers player I have ever seen in my lifetime. Now would seem that this is a Hoax thankfully apologies for posting this was genuinely gutted when I heard the news earlier on.
  4. I'd take him on an initial short term deal until end of season can he not play up front aswell
  5. It's to early to judge Craig Whyte imho I have been happy with how he has dealt with certain aspects like Tieing up players on long deals, dealing with media and their agendas. However his dealings in pursuit of some players left a lot to be desired and how ex board members could have been dealt with better but at same time I think had he just paid them off quietly He'd have been critisced for that also. Once the tax issue is sorted one way or other i think we will see what Craig Whyte is really all about, and i remain optimistic he will do well by us but don't feel he will be here long term.
  6. Agree with this Govan Allan constantly being told we have a poor side and one that is inferior to them by old mates and work colleagues at first I thought they were just in denial now I think they actually do believe it
  7. I have a sneaky feeling the Bheasts will get a few of the Hearts Squad if they were to have their contracts terminated reason for this is I have a feeling Jim Jefferies would be man to replace TLB when Motherwell finish him off on Sunday
  8. I'd like to see this team start on Saturday and hopefully blow United away pretty quickly. :sw: :dg: :gw: :sd: :me: :mm: :nj: :kl: but think it will more likely be :sw: :dg: :sd: :lm: :me: :sp: :nj: :kl:
  9. Losing Naismith is a huge blow for us as he has been one of if not our best performer this term The players brought in to replace him really have to step up and take the chance presented to them now though personally I hope to see Matt McKay given an opportunity to stake a claim for a starting place, but if it is to be an Ortiz, Bedoya or even Fleck they have to grasp it
  10. I'd agree that Lafferty is a better player than Crouch. Have never been a huge fan of Crouch but his international record is impressive. I am hoping Lafferty kicks on from recent goalscoring form he has been in and starts turning it on for us consistently over a sustained period of time.
  11. Jelavic is a great player and hopefully he will further enhance his reputation with us this season by firing us to title number 55 I'd have Mols pre injury up there with the finest number 9's we have had though.
  12. A mate of mine is in legal profession and said earlier on we had put a settlement to Bain No word on whether its been accepted or declined though
  13. Ive heard a settlement has been offered to Bain today.
  14. Coming from the winey myself I predicted this would happen would be surprised if this is only thing that happens I honestly thought it would have been set alight.
  15. They have mate Majstorovic is at the top of his game
  16. Gascoigne was one of best players I have ever seen and will be forever grateful to have seen him in the Blue of Rangers. His goal against Steaua Bucharest in Champions League is up there with best of my memories of him
  17. I think Papac played well on Sunday but probably got through game on adrenalin last night he was poor and would hope if Wallace is fit will step aside for Lee I like Sasa and think he has been a great servant but feel Lee Wallace offers a more natural and balanced option at full back. as for McCulloch I am wondering if he will ever regain the fitness required to play over any sustained period of time have heard from a few places he has to take injections to get through matches these days, If this is true i would think he is nearing end of his playing days with us.
  18. I agree with this mate I think they will struggle this term they won't be able to cope with playing in Europa then going to Tynecastle in a fortnight either if the right Hearts show up on day they will win and win convincingly imo, The bheasts defence are there for taking everytime they step on park and hopefully now teams will have seen being direct and in their faces is best way to get results
  19. It's never been a full blown tim pub mate but since the Albion way shut down has more or less took on that mantle I know a few who work in it on matchdays and they are good prods bu during week and that would avoid it at all costs
  20. Having lived down there most of my younger days I'd say there is a good chance of something happening alot of the bheasts down there aren't happy about changes to be made
  21. Out of new signings I'd say Bedoya and Ortiz will be on bench starting I'd say Goian and Bocanegra will defo start Wallace if fit and hopefully McKay will start
  22. Sad news Indeed However I think like at all times we should observe his passing with a minutes silence regardless of who opposition are if the bheasts don't like it let them stay outside then keep them there for duration of game
  23. I really hope we have a go at the bheasts on sunday they are poor defensively Jelavic and Lafferty should give Baldy Dan and partner are hard time. I hope I'm wrong but think Ally will be cautious and go 4,5,1
  24. it's a blow losing Jelavic any news on what type of injury it is ? with that news I can see us going 4,5,1 tomorrow but would rather pair Healy and Lafferty if both fit
