I think we should have signed lafferty last season and I'll be happy if he does show up this season. He has shown he can score goals in this league and important goals when it matters most. As long as he has screwed his nut which I think he has then he'll be an asset to the squad overall. If you look around and what else is available for the same amount of money then it is probably not a lot. Stevie G cannot rebuild this team in one transfer window and will need to build in stages, if lafferty helps fill avoid until something better comes along further down the line then it's a good bit of business.

away matches in europe are hard so it is going well. I know we haven't played in europe much of late but the last time we won an away match was sporting lisbon in 2008. will take any progress and this has been a job well done so far

I thought last night was promising at times. I feel better McGregor is back in goal, I thought the defence looked a lot more solid that it ever has and was particularly impressed with Goldson. The partnership between him and Katic after 2 games already looks strong although I guess we'll find out how good when we met sterner tests. I know what people are saying about flashbacks to last year but i guess there was no real change to the top of the team personnel wise, sure it would have been good if Windass and Morelos would have learned in preseason to be more clinical as the game would have been 5 or 6-nil and there would be nothing to discuss. I can't imagine Murphy, Morelos & Windass being the front 3 come start of the season.

I think i'm personally more intrigued by who the first proper exits from the club are going to be. That seems to have gone all quiet after the initial flurry of rumours about Windass, Tav and Morelos.

I wouldn't concern yourself with their exclusive garbage, they also had exclusives on John McGinn a few weeks back and James Collins. They died a death very quickly.
