  1. Barry has inherited a nearly non-operative team and whipped them into action. We are still quality-depth wise the worst in recent years, with loads of injuries and trained in a non-functional tactic. It remains to be seen whether he could be someone doing the trick with more players of his choice and the quality needed. "Remains to be seen" is the key here. We don't want or need another "project". Both in the league and even Europe, we have shown that we can play our part. Despite the lack of players, we might have done much more in the domestic cups and the title race, if we had not suffered that many injuries, and, more importantly, hadn't stuck to a tactic that simply isn't suited to the game in Scotland. Is it now four or five "managers" who wasted half a season on the latter, didn't get it and suffered the consequences? Much like we did? That's what I mean with "projects" not needed. I would assume that Barry and his coaches know what is required and needed in terms of staff and tactics ... for the Scottish game. So if given a handsome budget, I'd trust them to get people needed to succeed where we require it most. Europe has been a bonus and dragged us out of the mire after yet another dire season at home. Europe has likewise been a phenomenon. I have just seen third tier Arminia Bielefeld kicking out Bayer Leverkusen (the reigning champions and cupholders) in the semi-finals of the German Cup. Unlikely as it may be, sky's the limit. And quite often, the sky is Blue ...
  2. ... and Zenit was given a week off before the final. Too bad our club had the dignified silence motto ... and for years thereafter. (That means, we didn't really act on this and other strange things.) I am pretty sure that instead of doing that cast-into-stone journey, they hire half a dozen Japanese players a decade later. I think Dundee also waits for that money-spinning friendly they were promised by the Scum for changing their vote after it had landed in the spam folder of the SFA/SPFL/"whatever corrupt institution responsible". Thing is, Scotland never learns, Scottish clubs never learn ...

  4. ... not that they shall be our benchmark, but what sort of "punishment" do they deal out to the wrongdoers over at the Scumhut? If it was similarly "draconic", the Green Brigade's stands would be empty, right? That said, if supporters cannot adhere to our (!) standards and guidelines, they shall suffer the consequences. Attempting or causing bodily harm should always be followed by lifetime bans, police and legal action aside. Other things should be dealt with on a case to case basis, so that club officials and fan-coordinators etc. can earn their corn. "Keep woke foreign ideologies out – defend Europe" was racist and/or discriminatory? I'd like to see an explanation for that.

  6. No, but with that starting line-up, you were begging for this. We had Cortes, Danilo, Lawrence and Co. on the bench ... two of them brought the spark needed. Dessers 13 attempts on goal ... but who cares, if he scores a winner?
  7. We went from toil of the seasons before to pure torture ...
  8. Diomande and Raskin have run their race ... earn your money, Barry.
  9. "Playing from the back" over and over again ... ... and as I write this, the consequence is another shyte goal lost.
  10. Big-game goalie. Kelly should take his place in run-of-the-mill games like these.
  11. No jokes right now, please. Get some attackers on, please. Might save people from injury too.
  12. De facto 7 defensive-minded people out there and two utterly bizarre goals to lose.
  13. Rangers line-up with Jack Buland in goal behind James Tavernier, John Souttar, Leon Balogun, Ridvan and Dujon Sterling. In midfield, Nico Raskin and Mohamed Diomande, who both impressed on international duty, retain their places in the middle of the pitch alongside Connor Barron, while Cyriel Dessers will join Hamza Igamane in attack. So that's ... Butland Sterling - Tavernier - Souttar - Balogun - Ridvan Raskin - Barron - Diomande Igamane - Dessers ... against mighty Dundee.

  17. ... that's sound like quiet atmospheres? Never watched much US sports, bar the odd ice-hockey clip, though.
  18. I can remember far worse antics of the Scum creeps of not-so-long bygone days. Cleaning a nose with a corner flag at Ibrox, a former "manager" giving all sorts of "right up yours" to the support behind their bank, again at Ibrox ... all just a bit of "banter" back then. ... wonder what the same chap above has said about the foul on Cerny during the league cup final extra time period?
  19. In case someone needs a cheer me up moment during the summer break ... the full match.
