Kenny Miller offered new Rangers deal after impressing boss Pedro Caixinha
Gribz replied to pete's topic in Rangers Chat
No brainer really. He isn't finished and can offer us another year. Does it potentially mean that a few of the other strikers aren't in Pedro's plans? If we could get a million back for Garner Id be happy, hopefully Warburton wants him at Forest. But I think Dodoo is worth keeping even if we convert him to a winger. -
I am guessing you need to have acast app on your phone or tablet to listen? I quite enjoy We Are the People podcast, started watching that regularly.

He is our best winger. In a 3-5-2 or 3-6-1 (3-4-2-1 what Chelsea play) he would be suited on the right.

Another step closer to the title for Chelsea. Spurs have to win at Palace and hope Everton do them a favour this weekend yet Spurs will have to beat Arsenal at the same time.

Firstly if we can get a good season out of Kranjcar then that will make a huge difference. But the other signings are going to be key. They have to get out the blocks fast. This seasons signings have either not worked out performance wise or injuries - that said its been our loan signings (Hyndman and Toral) plus youth promoted (Beerman and Bates) who have looked like they would fit into the team long term. We have to remember this season was all about cementing ourselves back in the top flight and qualifying for the Europa. We could have ended up in the bottom half which would be a disaster so 3rd wont be as poor as we think. And if we top this week off with a win v Celtic then it will inspire. RB Leipzig have shown that huge leaps can be done in a short time by playing well but more so a bit off investment. We are not on that scale but its not impossible to say Pedro will get his own players in and they buy into his system straight away. So this time next season we should have had investment, a run in the Europa League - I think Group Stages would be sufficient, Much closer to Celtic but further ahead of the team in 3rd.

The only issue I have with both Barca and Real is the masses of TV cash they get ahead of the rest of the league. If it was shared more fairly then Atletico and Sevilla plus possibly Valencia would make it a far more competitive league. As such Atletico have done wonders for the past few years to make it a 3 horse race but you just feel they could go down a slope anytime especially with moving stadium.

Midweek predictions Chelsea 2-0 Southampton Arsenal 2-0 Leicester Middlesbrough 1-0 Sunderland Crystal Palace 1-2 Tottenham Man City 2-0 Man Utd

Just watched the highlights and glad Barca won. That Ramos is just unlikeable. I still think Real will win their game in hand and pip the title but would like Barca to win it.

Certainly been the best performer. Alli, Zlatan, Hazard have all been superb but Kante deserving. Team of the season: De Gea Walker Alderweireld Luiz Rose Mane Alli Kante Hazard Lukaku Kane I would have had Zlatan in the team in place of Lukaku.

Think we have a thread about the best ever. And this can be moved over if needed but its a good debate. Its a generation thing also, and I always think people should decide of who they have seen and not by reputation. Example Pele goes down by a lot as the best but I couldnt possibly comment as only seen clips. Messi has joined the elite IMO though, he has surpassed Zidane who makes my top 3. Maradona out on his own then Messi followed by Zidane.

Kenny given the Players player of the year award. Hyndman got young POTY and Hill got the John Greig achievement award. Cant disagree with any of those.
-
But they play Man Utd so if they win that it is in their hands. Plus City v Utd means something has to give.
-
He is up there of all timers but Maradona was still better. I cant imagine how good Maradona would be playing now on carpet pitches and with the tackling rules tightened. I wonder if Messi would be as effective say in Valencia or Sevilles team - probably would but the point being Maradona went to Napoli who werent the biggest side in the league and won them 2 titles. Imagine how good he would have been in that AC Milan side of the late 80s.
-
Palace safe now, didnt see them winning that. Top 4 battle is very much open again and somehow its back in Arsenals own hands, it they win their games in hand they are above Liverpool on goal difference. But Man Utd are starting to creep up, the Manchester derby will be huge this week.

Couldnt have called it more wrong. A Chelsea v Arsenal final.

Good betting...a double Swansea and Hull. That helps the dent from last weekends hiding in Cambodia. Never bet on West Ham....done.

As Geena gee Said Ohh ahh A little bit more... Fair play Chelski....

We had a few worse than Theo. I used to always panic when Ally Maxwell came in for Goram.

Good read. My first OF game was at Hampden, the season they played their home games at Hampden in 94-95. This was good as means Ive yet to step foot into Parkhead. And what a first experience it was with a 3-1 win. A double from Hateley and Laudrups goal at the end. We had a few injuries that day and a few of the players were sitting a few rows behind me (Durrant, Durie, Brown). It was Alan McLarens debut. Lets hope the injury to Foderingham is false. I have no idea what to expect from Pedro but I see him taking on the Bull here and its going to be interesting, he certainly doesnt seem to be Mourinho-esk and the type to shut up shop. So I wonder if the likes of Windass and McKay will feature or Dodoo. But perhaps the latter may be better off the bench. As its a cup game I wont have it on TV so will be checking Rangers TV again and I'll pay for the match again as I enjoyed it 2 weeks ago and will sign up for the season next year. Id probably play this team but not fully sure what formation Id set out Foderingham Tavernier Hill Wilson Beerman Holt Windass Toral Hyndman Miller Waghorn

Been changed - meant country.

Of course! Ok home country then. Despite its location.

Real Madrid v Atletico Madrid Monaco v Juventus My tip of Juventus looking better, I think their defence will stiffle out the high scoring Monaco side plus the italians have a goalscoring threat. The Madrid derby is tough to call, Atletico have a great La Liga record lately but Real have won the two finals in recent years. Im going for a Juventus v Atletic Madrid final. Gareth Bale wont get to do what Ronaldo did a few years ago and win the CL in his home town. Europa Semi coming up - Man Utd, Lyon, Celta Vigo, Ajax.

The Pre-Summer-2017 transfer rumours and hearsay all inclusive Thread
Gribz replied to der Berliner's topic in Rangers Chat
Dorrans would be half decent. Possibly a good addition for building depth in the squad. Would probably ease the Scottish game. Id like to see Hyndman being a top target whether another loan deal or permanent. -
Good shout Frankie with Foderingham. Certainly a contender for our POTY and keepers are often over looked. Ive always said there should be a POTY in every league and a Keeper of the year in a separate award. Miller has never been an out and out goalscorer. Boyd was a poacher (albeit it against poor opposition) but can you imagine Boyd going what Miller does all over the park and hitting a screamer like Pittodrie 2 weeks ago? Plus off the park Miller is a model Pro. Id say the Club is better with Kenny around the place than not. As such I hope he gets a final year or is kept on in some capacity.

Very sad and shocking, it just seems out the blue when he was still in great shape. Hopefully a minutes applause on Sunday and Gers players wear black armbands.
