Ive always wondered if anyone has actually done that - turn up to a game on the wrong day.

Relegation battle this weekend between 3 big clubs - Birmingham, Forest and Blackburn. Fair play to Burton and Bristol City for beating the drop against the odds and leaving these 3 in it. Im actually not bothered who goes down. Forest go then a big of a smile for Bears towards Warburton and Weir in a way for exiting their ticket there. Blackburn have poor owners and to see a Premier League winner to drop to the 3rd tier would be big. Birmingham arent a easy club on the eye but after getting rid of Rowett when they were outside the play offs on goal difference is karma for them. Play offs decided only final positions to play for but I dont see any changes. Brighton going to Villa Park for the title but I can see them slipping up again as they havent won since being promoted - which is understandable but to throw away a 7 point lead isnt great. I can see them drawing which means Newcastle go up as Champs by beating Barnsley at St James'.

Great performance from West Ham, didnt see that coming. Should have been 3-0. And it hands Chelsea the title.

The Pre-Summer-2017 transfer rumours and hearsay all inclusive Thread
Gribz replied to der Berliner's topic in Rangers Chat
I get the feeling Whittaker was easily misled by Naismith, not sure on others thoughts. Naismith was certainly the more vocal and seemed to have a speech prepared. 5 years on and the ghosts come back to haunt - I hope Pedro comes out and categorically states neither are of interest. -

Agree RE Hyndman with Der Berliner, Hyndman could exile in this league for another year with better players. I actually thought Toral would be the better signing but its been Hyndman. Eddie Howe says he wont release him again but I would take that with a pinch of salt. Thats 2 years in a row we have had a key loan member going back and their career could go downhill. Ball from Spurs was an unsung hero last season and has ended up at Rotherham. OK Spurs second string are as good as there is in the UK but I thought he would at least get a decent loan or a better club. Hyndman could maybe take note although he has a better chance of making things at Bournemouth than Ball had at Spurs. But Im sure Pedro has his own list of targets. The papers just need stories to print at the moment. -

He didnt regret his comments when getting 50k a week at Everton and Norwich, only now when he comes back a bit closer to home. Any statement would be false just to get a contract. Ive never been one to hold grudge and always thought people who wouldnt consider former Celtic players playing for Rangers were so far backwards, but Naismith crossed a line with his arrogance yet he sat and took a handsome wage while being in the treatment room for a year. Other players like Edu and Davis showed dignity - they were in the exact same boat as Naismith yet they didnt need to do an interview. He is one player who doesnt deserve to be in a Rangers shirt again especially to pick up a retirement wage. After the bumpy period it wouldnt be long before he would start to show his cockiness again. Playing wise - yes as a player he would improve us but still id rather take a punt on a new face. -
I'll be having a flutter on them in the final. I think Conte will be in for a player or two in the summer.
-
And Im hoping Buffon goes onto win the tournament, best keeper of all time. Real v Juve is a cracker of a final, this is Juventus best side in a long time, they have been knocking on the door with Pogba and Vidal but improved since they left.

But Dorrans isnt one of the players being released. Either he is part of Norwich plans or they can sense they will get fee for him. -

Ruddy is a good keeper, wasn't so long ago he was linked with Arsenal and in Englands squad. Would be an instant improvement even though I quite like Foderingham. Whittaker - footballer aside would improve the team but after 2012 Im not sure he would be accepted. Full back is certainly an area we need to add and it could allow Tav to be converted to a winger. -
Partick 0-2 Rangers FGS Miller

I don't see a way back for MOH though so selling him on and getting a new winger would be better. Forrester hasn't kicked a ball in how long?

Rangers players' true level - compared to 90s squad players
Gribz replied to 917's topic in Rangers Chat
Its an invalid argument because the other team listed on the OP didn't play together. Nisbett and Pressley were 90s and Miller 90s and 00s. For it to be an debate you would need a starting XI from the 80s who all played together. -
2-0 may have given Atletico a sniff but 3-0 is over. Funnily enough Real could defend the CL title and win La Liga yet they wont go down as an all time classic side.

Norwich City: SEVEN SENIOR PLAYERS SET TO LEAVE
Gribz replied to ian1964's topic in General Football Chat
Bassong and Ruddy will get snapped up. -
Hull have: Sunderland (H) Crystal Palace (A) Tottenham (H) Swansea: Everton (H) Sunderland (A) West Brom (H) I think Hull will get 4 points and Swansea could get 7 points.
-
Liverpool lost out in midweek but are the winners yesterday if they beat Watford. Both Manchester clubs dropping points and it still give Arsenal a lifeline of top 4 but they are running out of games. I think Liverpool and City will finish 3rd and 4th as Uniteds run in is terrible and they have huge injury list. They still have to go to North London twice. Chelsea will be champions now, they wont lose twice. West Brom away is their hardest game but WBA have been on the beach since March. Swansea or Hull to go down...I just get a hint Swansea will sneak out of it.
-
We should be asking apple to sponsor and make it I-brox. An absolute win win for all.
-
I think Reading will go up Scott but I hope not.
-
What people are failing to remember is we spent the last 4 years in lower leagues and only got back up this season. Why is 9IAR or Advocaat level expected right now??? Its going to take 2 years to stabilize yet we have done far better than Celtic did in the 90s. I do have an issue with mindset and performance yerterday - thats no acceptable. Our team in Div 3 wouldnt have played like that and yet Pedro carrys the can for the mindset. Im not sure what he is trying to tell the players. Im skeptical of him. We are all good at FIFA on the playstation but on the pitch is where it counts. Lets write this season off Bears....Europa is the key and onto next year.

Havent read this debate but you do have a point although its very unlikely and left field.
-
But they are and will be as we cant afford Cech, Terry, Cazorla and Costa.
-
Top side sorted then...Reading, Huddersfield, Sheff Wed and Fulham in the play offs. What happened Leeds!!! Gary Monk thats a poor finish. I hope its between Sheff Wed and Fulham but Id like to see the Owls back up. At the bottom it goes to the last week. Forest Blackburn and Birmingham. What is Harry Redknapp mumping about...complaining about Villa losing to Blackburn - the team are fighting for their league status - idiot. I cant see Blackburn winning and the other 2 losing in the last games though.
-
Dont disagree with anything but you cant buy mindset and that wasnt installed. Agreed we need a full new team. Fod, Hill, Kranjcar and Miller are the spine then we need 7 players.
