Not sure what to make of Forest this season, they got off to a good start. I always had a soft spot for Forest but must admit to not having one this season. Interesting to know if other Bears want to see them struggling??
-
Evans would do well at Arsenal, a good centre half and pretty much under rated. Arsenal are just shambolic at the moment though. Ox on his way to Chelsea and I can only see Sanchez deal being done. Wenger saying he has 33 players in the squad so needs to move players on before signing - eh who signed 33 players! If they dont get a Lemar type player then I worry for the Goons.
-
And to think how many good managers have been produced in Scotland we had the best part of 2 decades with Roxburgh and Brown - who are purely SFA yes men.
-
Horrid time But a few big matches this week. France v Holland and Spain v Italy. Worldy matches and meaningful. Can only see a routine win for England in our group away to malta and cant see Scotland getting anymore than a draw in Lithuania.

Frankie - your are a keeper Guru are you not? Is Alnwick good as a no.2?
-
Man City have offered cash and Sterling for Sanchez. Wenger should bite their hand off. Sanchez will be finished in 2 years and where does he play at City? Silva, Silva, Aguero, Jesus, De Brunyne, Sane....He cant play them all. Wenger should say OK throw in Yaya Toure with Sterling and the cash and its a deal.
-
It will be interesting this week however the position Im thinking about is Goalkeeper. Is Alnwick enough as back up? There is a good team in there with what we have. Im not convinced Walker is the answer (beggers cant be choosers though) to the team. Im still baffled by the Dodoo issue.

[FT] Ross County 1 - 3 Rangers (Morelos 31, 41; Herrera 89)

Hangover aside it as a fine result. I actually thought we may only end up with a point prior to the game. International break is a royal pain in the ass. -
Bill Leckie - Rangers and Pedro Caixinha need a reality check
Gribz replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
The headline alone didnt deserve a response however when people like this jump out just as we get 3 points they should be 1) binned from Ibrox 2) laughed at. I like to rise above nonsense now (no laughing at the back about conspiracy threads) but turkeys like this have to be commented on. -
The Miller factor has to be taken into consideration. He is the same age as me and obviously no 3 year deals will be put about. But what an absolute pro he has been and its probably time he sat on the bench. I certainly get more confidence from Morelos than Herrera. Herrera is like a Giroud type striker and needs service. Yet what do I know...Im watching from afar.

Wasnt he the manager already?
-
I like his attitude - something that often doesnt come well. Its only a game though, keep the shackles off the young man but yes should be first pick upfront. Kenny has been brilliant for us but he should be used more sparingly to get the best out of the team.

Potentially wanted to start an Arsenal thread as wanted a wee rant about them. They are my second fave team in England and I know likes of Craig likes them. Its so frustrating to see them so poor when they are potential league winners. Something is fundamentally wrong inside. They have big Steve Bould there who looks like he wants to explode with energy but cant coz he is sitting next to his teacher. Wengers team selections are just laughable. What is he thinking! They really need to go back to basics. Four four fuckin two. Cazorla gets in when fit but for me their best side is: Ospina Bellerin Mustafi Koscielny Kolansinac OX-Chamb Wilshire Xhaka Welbeck Sanchez Giroud
-
Im not stunned by the thread - Jack is Aberdeen level. He needs to keep climbing the ladder for me. He is a poor mans Stuart McCall.
-
Scott7 your predictions are as good / bad as mine by the way How about I start from next round of games tallying you versus me. I'll do it just for a bit of banter. Arsenal and West Ham though - both need mass sorting out. Rafa could actually fit both jobs!
-
Arsenal will be relegation fodder this season based on this and thats not an exaggeration. They dont earn the name top 4 annually. I cant see a strength in their side. The team Wenger doesnt put out is stronger. Shambolic for them. Monreal??? Be a good professional off the park and get a consistent game?? Ozil - Like Onions in soup - always there but never needed. Not starting Lacazette or Giroud - Laughable.
-
Wenger - Walk away. Sign a 2 year deal and go further backwards. Arsenal are an absolute mess.
-
Cardiff romping on. Got to love Warnock. I used to think he was one of footballs most annoying guys but the talk about all the best Championship level managers - he proves he is the best. If only he wasnt in his late 60s id seriously give him a shot at Ibrox.
-
Spanner in the works for the coupons today. West Ham need to make a change. I like Bilic but he cant live off his first season. Seems he is getting it wrong all over the pitch. 10 goals conceded in 3 games, he has to drop Joe Hart straight away.
-
Not sure what to make of it all. Its practically been like WWE. Cant see McGregor matching him boxing. His hope of a win is with landing a big hit. But Mayweather has been the best defensive boxer ever and counters. But they will be buddys straight after it. Its a bit like a table tennis champ playing Federer at Tennis yet even federer has off days. I may venture to a pub for it, only because its on at a Sunday lunchtime. But a lot of pubs are only taking bookings only - as such Id not really care about it.

5 results correct last week. Lets see how we do this week. Saturday Bournemouth 0-2 Man City Crystal Palace 2-1 Swansea Huddersfield 1-1 Southampton Newcastle 0-0 West Ham Watford 1-0 Brighton Man Utd 2-0 Leicester Sunday Chelsea 1-1 Everton West Brom 1-0 Stoke Liverpool 2-1 Arsenal Tottenham 3-1 Burnley

Agreed. Looks a bit slimmer than the photos when he signed, especially around the face.
-
The Hammer openly admits he didnt get on with Advacaat either yet he still performed superbly.
-
Brenda came out perfectly yesterday saying their aim is to be in Europe after Christmas - certainly wont be in the CL with that group. Man Utd must be laughing, 6th in the league and put all eggs into the Europa basket and have been rewarded with a easy group. Tough for Spurs, Real and Dortmund will play them off the Wembley pitch.
-
Just makes them stronger and gives them unreal options for 4 competitions.
