Holy shite that's nuts. First time ive seen that. If he doesn't get a suspension for that!!

Think Man Utd could be the champs this season. they looked good and have good options all over the pitch.

Lennon has to be pulled up for that signal. Its a gesture and not a celebration. If he holds one arms up and punches the air its a celebration, the other arm over to cover the other arm is sign language for get it up you. You cant do that in his position. Its as clear as day. Was Gazza putting the hands to his mouth seen as him playing a mouth organ when he did it?? Of course not.

The Result and the nonsense of what happened aside we have to pick ourselves up and just concentrate on the next match. I think we will see more of this as the season goes on especially away from home. Applying to the English Conference 5 years ago should have been done - instead we fund teams and they continuously try to pull a step away as we climb the ladder. Getting back to the top was always going to take 2-3 seasons AFTER being promoted. Its doesnt help with crap like refs not doing their job but we have to find a way of just winning games - or if not winning - not to lose them. We could have been out of sight after 1-0 with the shot off the post and Miller's effort which caught him by surprise. Personally Id have taken on Rossiter straight away. When you lose a man you have to keep your shape at the back and in midfield. Hibs are on a high momentum run in the same way Hearts did when they come back up - it wont last.

You say is too early for this thread question but it isnt too early to be looking to replace him? He has to get the first round of matches before being judged because its a new squad and he has only had 4 competitive matches. Yesterdays result wasnt a reflection on PC. You can argue he should have brought on Rossiter straight away for a like for like replacement to Jack and played out a more defensive game than looking for a win. Hearts, Ross Country and Dundee are our next league outings and more judgement will be obvious after these matches. 9 points is a must though.

Waghorn got Ipswich' winner away to Barnsley. Ipswich have started well with 2 out of 2. Forest also have two wins. Villa thumped at Cardiff and Bruce already needing to win at Reading in midweek. But looking at their starting line up they need at least 4 better players to come in. Warnock waving his magic at the moment at Cardiff, talking about all the managers who know this division Warnock is probably they best out there. Wednesday held at home to QPR.

I dont think anyone will be running away with a lot of correct results from these games. Huddersfield and Burnley come in and do that. Excellent results for those two. Chelsea were poor. Liverpool conceding cost me my accumulator though. Had Arsenal, Everton, Liverpool and City and a 93rd offside goal cost it.

One thing I will say is with hindsight of course - the squad is far more balanced and looks better than what he inherited and what Warburton had 12 months ago. Dorrans gets in the team over Barton all day long, Alves and Cardoso easily walk into the centre defence ahead of Kiernan and Hill although the latter was a good servant for a while. Role on 10pm for the match today and hopefully RTV feed works well.

Great game. Arsenal papering over the cracks though. Cech looks finished, Holding isnt up to standard. Ozil still overrated. Kolansinac and Lacazette look good players though. Sanchez, Mustafi and Koscielny then they will be stronger. But they still need reinforcements.
-
Jeezo Arsenal. 2-2 at half time. Shocking defensively. A good game to watch though.

I actually fancy that also despite putting Everton down for a win. It will cost me 120 bucks if they do as they are on my 4 fold.

Part of me just wants to see Kranjcar in that midfield in a free role spraying the passes about, but that would mean removing a striker. If Herrera starts banging them in then there could be games Miller can be left out to keep him fit, but he has started lively as usual so has to continue.
-
Its a question hence the ? at the end. You can throw in 3 good friendly performances aswell which will reflect how the team is developing. Nobody says he is Mourinho and nobody has said he is a buffoon. We are simply judging 'The now'.
-
Cringeworthy questions again and again. It was the same towards Warburton last year.
-
Thought about that but he may get the all clear. And Im pretty sure he will be desperate to play.
-
Looking forward to this game. Regardless of what we think of HIbs, they have a new lease of life about them and are full of confidence. But going forward we should have too much for them. Selection will be interesting. If Kranjcar is ready does he walk back into the side? If thats the case in place of who? Does Rossiter start ahead of Jack? Foderingham Tav Alves Cardoso Wallace Candeias Rossiter Dorrans Windass Miller Morelos

A few left field scores but you did well last season so you may be right. On paper having Leeds, Villa, Sheff Wed, Forest in the top flight and maybe Derby and Wolves are more attractive than Burnley, Bournemouth, Brighton, Huddersfield etc but teams have to earn the right to be in the top flight.
-
Dont think he will leave and it would be cutting it fine for us to get in a replacement.
-
Not sure about Jack so much. He seems like he is going to have to perform a 8/10 every game just to be decent. I think Rossiter is the answer in the holding role. But Jack may come good and be a healthy squad addition. I hope we dont go for McLean, Aberdeen are average and we need better than their players.

The only thing thats a bit annoying was the mass hysteria about Spurs leaving White Hart Lane. The ground is being built on the same site so they should be promoting that. Obviously they want renaming rights going somewhere to bring in cash. But Spurs need to strengthen soon. They dont have a big enough squad to play League and CL matches at the moment. They arent far away. Will be a quality stadium by the looks of it though. London alone could / should be hosting a major tournament.

Would be good to see what he could. Levein and McLaren in the same team Mr 4-6-0 and wally with brolly, cant see hearts being that strong.

Yup, unfortunately after the matches you listed Pedro is always going to be one bad game away from having people calling for him. A solid run of wins will be needed to prevent that. A lot more will be unfolded on Saturday - A good win v Hibs and it will start to look more promising. Welcome to the forum.
