The Pre-Summer-2017 transfer rumours and hearsay all inclusive Thread
Gribz replied to der Berliner's topic in Rangers Chat
Glad to see Forrester off the books, seems a bit of a play boy to me and will be obese by the time he is 35. Has a bit of skill but never applied himself well. Dodoo remains the most bizarre player in Rangers history. Appears on the pitch and does well then doesnt even get near the team. Something isnt right there. -
Couldnt post earlier, but think the issue is sorted now. I think Real will walk the league this season, there seems like there is problems at Nou camp however I hope Im wrong. The one thing thats wrong with la liga is the share of money, Barca and Real could be in deep trouble if the other clubs started to get their fair share of TV money. Valencia and Atletico have done wonders over the years to compete.

Yes mate thats pretty much what I was suggesting. Playing a 4-5-1 / 4-3-3 with Kranjcar coming in then moving Windass into the free role position. Windass seems good when he has the ball at feet but the tactical side of things seems to elude him. Im a huge Miller fan over the years but perhaps its time to using him sparingly.

I have replied twice to this... Admin...???

Did Bears there last week see enough of Windass to start again rather than Kranjcar? two totally different players. Id actually think about dropping Miller and playing Kranjcar. I think Pedro might have had a spy with me, I said he could read the game more he could be a player...he is far to direct without thinking of options. That works sometimes. Something just needs a wee click. 3 at the back perhaps??

What happened here...i replied already.

A simple fact is its not the best quality league in the world and style is so mixed. I listen to Talksport a lot and the other night they were talking about Sinclair getting into the England set up. The presenters so arrogantly said no because he plays in Scotland. Even from a Rangers point of view thats nonsense. How has playing in England helped their players. 2010 in South Africa failure and shite, 2014 in Rio appalling, 2016 France a joke - Iceland. Wouldn't a player playing on confidence boost them? I know thats not defending but its the league in general. The British style in defending is far different to continental - thats been a huge factor for decades. Look at the classic italians. Yet Also Scotland have always produced quality centre halfs but the are a million miles away from how Baresi played. Premier League is the best entertainment but not the quality.
-
Bayern arent quite Barca yet who need mass changes. But their quality squad is getting on a bit. Robben and Ribery are winding down. Good to get a German league preview. A Spanish one would be good - Barca and Real have been 50/50 for a few years, all of a sudden Real looks miles ahead. Kroos, Modric, Bale, Ronaldo, Benzema etc blast away Suarez and Messi. Yet Messi is still the best individual but Ronaldo is getting better as a No.9. Barca need to make a statement and sign Mbappe and Dembele and resign Sanchez from Arsenal and throw in Coutinho they look a lot healthier.
-
Its like Buses. Nothing for a while and two come along at once. I guess both preview threads can be merged??

Frank Spencer was accidental in his mistakes!! There was a thread not so long ago about bad ex Gers players. Daly isnt even mentioned because he was that bad. This game couldnt come quick enough and we need to show up and let everyone see that we are playing like Chumbawamba. I get knocked down but I get up again. In the XI. Possibly Rossiter for Jack. Possibly Kranjcar for Windass.
-
You get the feeling they rescinded the card as a nice gesture yet the radio silence from all angles is deafening. We dropped points (2 or 3) when Jack was wrongly sent off - rescinding is the right decision but we can still field XI in the next game to win - i.e. the damage was done. I suspect Beaton will be up for Player of the month award. Refs are getting blatant now yet I actually said in the Motherwell thread that the ref had a good game and let it flow. If players can play in foreign countries why cant refs move about also.
-
This hole thing stinks TBH now. 6 days later and it seems Lennon is untouchable. The facts are Halliday and Fenlon received bans for the exact same gesture. Yet Lennon hasnt been taken infront of the SFA or whoever to explain his actions. Refs wise and in game incidents were a joke and the SFA gives them a cooling off period. Someone inside Rangers has to come out a bit stronger.

Legend fits into the same debate as 'World Class' and 'Big Club'.....there is no exact meaning or fixed criteria and it comes down to opinion.

He just cant wait to get the green light on the move so he can turn Pittodrie into flats which means he can then move on and sell his part in the club.
-
With Villa it would be too early to panic if this was only 3 games but Bruce didnt pull up trees last season.

John Beaton and Craig Thomson WON’T referee in the Premiership this weekend

"Cooling off period". Why cant those running the game just state its due to awful performances rather than taking them out the heat kind of argument. English FA had no problem previously of making stronger true statements. -
Late goal gives a slight lifeline but Liverpools 2 away goals should be enough. Come on the Astana tonight.
-
Think McLaren would have been better than the other names listed.
-
Cardiff Wolves and Ipswich the surprise front runners with max points. Garner and Waghorn both doing well. Aston Villa, 1 point from opening 3 games.
-
They look much more like a real Man Utd team now both in play and personnel. The only thing is West Ham set up far to open and tried to match them and out play them which was silly.
-
Reading a couple of posts from this page makes me wish the club would just apply to play in another league somewhere.
-
Its unreal. Like a pub attack on a Friday night.
-
The ref has to get dropped which we have seen happen in England. He should be put down to lower leagues.
