I changed the channel when it went 2-0 and just read your post to see it was 4 they ended up with. Utd scoring 4 for the 3rd time this season. The two Manchester clubs will run away with things yet have had things a bit easy for them in certain games. Everton and Koeman under pressure. The goal difference sway brings West Ham out of the bottom 3.

I had a big accumulator and was let down by Liverpool and Aberdeen who I thought would be the easiest home bankers.

Here we go, Ladbrokes should be profiting from me this weekend. Spurs result was a surprise for me. I thought Everton had to get something if they are serious about breaking into the top 6. I'll have a punt on the Championship Tuesday, and I'll get back into a bookies for the first time in a while.

Going back to the thread when appointed I said it was the wrong move for FdB, he would be more suited to a club like Southampton. Palace are an ugly club which wasnt a match at all for FdB. His stock will be knocked now due to this and Inter but there is a good manager there for the right club.

Id like to think Club chairmen and board members wouldnt even consider forums when making a decision on choosing a manager. Nothing personal against Davies but Im glad he hasnt been in charge at Ibrox before for footballing reasons.

A bad round of predictions again, this league is becoming like the championship, too unpredictable.
-
I would have to say the opposite, I think they are on the up. They used to be a yoyo club but are well established now. For a while they would be bottom 8 but now I cant see anything lower than 11th for them and would have them a likely top 10. They did well in the transfer window. Last season fizzled out and they were on the beach by April after reaching their target points tally and rather than cementing 8th they dropped a bit. They are a more established club than the likes of Bournemouth, Swansea, Leicester and Watford plus better than Huddersfield and Brighton so I dont think they will struggle at all.

Archie Knox insists even the great Sir Alex Ferguson would struggle...
Gribz replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
I beg to differ with Archie. I dont think Sir Alex would struggle. He may not win the title but he wouldnt be dropping silly points against mid table sides. He automatically gets an extra 10-20% out of players and the fact its his club would give him some drive. Just a pity we wont actually get to see Sir Alex manage Rangers just once. -
Pedro, a man with dignity. Rangers v Dundee preview.

Glad to have domestic footy back, feels like an age. Unfortunately Im in flight so wont get to see results until tomorrow. But I'll be expecting to see 3 points on arrival, its a must. Squad should be fresh with minimal internationals going away (if any??). Hope Neil McCann gets a good reception all the same. -
Cant help noticing you back against WBA every week Scott. Is that why they are doing well? Cant see Cardiff sending John up if he isnt going to get a game. Who does he start for though, he can play left and right. -
He was ridiculously along with Lacazette. His selections was just to powder puff. He has an obsession with monreal who is a good pro but a left back at best. Added to that Holding isnt top 4 standard. In the centre Ramsay isnt a centre midfielder in a month of sundays - he is a No.10. Its all about him getting the right shape again.
-
Next month briefly. Draxler linked to Arsenal - that would be a good signing, natural left. I didnt think Mayrez would be a good addition but actually think he would now. Still need an enforcer in the midfield....a lot of work for Wenger to get done. Wilshire to West Ham for a season loan is also looking likely, would have preferred Carvalho but if Wilshire is fit he is class. Upgrade on Noble.
-
Rangers, West Ham and Arsenal.....need a drinking sesh with you over this I like Sakho, in the final season at Upton Park he was superb but he had injuries plus isnt happy with something - but on his day is quality.

Rangers have agreed a deal to sign Cardiff City full-back Declan John on a season-long loan, according to Sky sources. The 22-year-old Welshman is expected in Glasgow on Wednesday evening and should complete his move on Thursday following a medical. John came through the youth system at Cardiff and made 16 appearances last season, but has not featured for the first team this season. -
Done deal Ox to Liverpool. Arsenal should nip in and get Barkley with the money. They have already recouped the Lacazette money. 10m for Gabriel, 7m for Gibbs and 40m for Ox. Plus Mustafi looks like on his way to Inter. What is Wenger doing!! Its players like Jenkinson and Dubuchy he needs to rid.
-
He is either Rangers or Hearts. But pretty sure after 5 years of playing and previous comments we can say he is a Ger somewhere.

Bring back McEwans Lager
-
Ox-Chamberlain "turns down" move to Chelsea. Not sure what has went on there. He wasnt getting his central midfield spot. Now looks set to move to Liverpool.
-
Yes but there has to be some thought into the way he engineered his way out. Not to mention Weir who IS a rangers man and should have the same feelings we do.
-
Not sure what to make of Forest this season, they got off to a good start. I always had a soft spot for Forest but must admit to not having one this season. Interesting to know if other Bears want to see them struggling??
-
Evans would do well at Arsenal, a good centre half and pretty much under rated. Arsenal are just shambolic at the moment though. Ox on his way to Chelsea and I can only see Sanchez deal being done. Wenger saying he has 33 players in the squad so needs to move players on before signing - eh who signed 33 players! If they dont get a Lemar type player then I worry for the Goons.
-
And to think how many good managers have been produced in Scotland we had the best part of 2 decades with Roxburgh and Brown - who are purely SFA yes men.
