Ive never heard of anyone not being a huge fan of Rino, we could see the potential in him from day 1. I was dissapointed when he left and would love to see him back at Ibrox. Im sure the Ibrox support would each pay 50p a week each to provide 25,000 towards wages while the club could fund more - thats how much we love Rino Spiers.

I hope we get half as good a game as the Germany v Italy game and we'll be up for a great match. Its a tougher one to call than expected. France we're written off at the start after a poor group stage but burst into life against Spain and then out played Brazil. So now they are Favourites. Portugal on the other hand we're impressive in the group stages, then played against the Dutch in a game that was full of fouls but they did well to hold on. They missed Deco and Costinha badly against England but they are back tonight. I see a tight game and Portugal will want to get the ball down and play whereas i dont know what to expect from France. Like Italy last night i have a feeling for Portugal tonight because i think Scolari is a winner, but it could be the French to set up a repeat of the Euro 00 final. I think they will get there chance but Le GUens standards might be higher. Burke was probably our best player at times last season in a poor side and im sure he will play a part for Le Guen. Im a big fan of Smith and hope he can continue last years form this coming season. Hutton started promising but blew hot and cold for the most of last season.

Great news on the Clement signing, we once again can field a team of real midfielders. With Sionko, Ferguson, Hemdani, Clement, Buffel, Namouchi and Burke in contention for places Im very positive about our play next season. There seems to be as much going out the door as there is coming in with Bob, Rae, Rae, Soti, Lovenkrands, Watterrues, FanFan and Bernard all making way. I thought PLG wanted 23 or 24 in his squad. Although it is good to get dead wood out and re-building will take time.

I think its better coverage than BBC but just dont agree to having to pay for the hole thing, individual games like the EPL plus is much better value for money but its always going to be. However ive got the games for free but just dont get the pre match build up etc which is poor

I dont think we can afford to take risks with 4.2 million when we could a few strikers for that. Agree with Danny, Brondby are being greedy there but they are entitled to. It puts our position and mismanagement into perspective when we cant compete with Wigan who just a few years ago had an average gate of 4000 and played the likes of Bournemouth every week.
