Agreed Danny, the squad is taken shape nicely and Sebo will complete a good looking Midfield to forward line. I like Smith at LB and would stick with him, he should only be able to get better under Le Guen. If he has a few wobbles then out he comes to re-charge his batteries and in steps Ian Murray - perfect replacement. If i had to make any further additions it would be a really good RB and maybe a centre half depending on what FanFan can do.

Ricksen has got a lot of had work both on and off the field to complete. He has to win over a lot of bears again as quite a few have lost patience with him, i know I have and would of rather seen him booted out for his behaviour. I still see him as a right sided player for some reason so if he gets a game id like to see him at RB and hopefully get some form back. But Id stick with Hutton for a few more games.

Stick with Hutton IMO. He needs a run of bad games before he should get dropped IMO. He didnt do anything wrong on Sunday at all. Ive lost patience with Ricksen and wouldnt play him unless we had to and I havent seen Lowing. As for your Gavin Rae idea! - Whats that all about??

18.6 million!! I think that is slightly high for him. He is a good midfielder but im not sure he is worth that price. I think Milan would of taken that amount for Gattuso or Pirlo who IMO would of been beter. Man Utd have been crying out for a central midfielder and it does boost there squad but id still say he is slightly on the pricy side, 12 million would have been more realistic.

All 3 stadiums - Ibrox Hampden and Parkhead probably produced amazing atmospheres when they held that amount of people and were terraced. BTW doesnt Glasgow look rough in the background

The message is not getting across by the sounds of it yesterday. Ok, it was the first game of a new season on a fine day and we had a big away vocal support but The Club needs to act or we could find ourselves in hot water. I was actually a bit embarressed sitting listening to certain songs for 2 reasons - 1) What will PLG be thinking after our warning and fine and 2) We have been warned all summer and it took 7 mins into the game for Hullo Hullo to be sang. Now im not sure the rules on this song if it is banned home and away but those singing it HAVE to change the words to Rangers words. It will be a difficult song to eradicate or change because IMO this song and the words "Hullo Hullo" are almost like a trademark for us. As for the "Who's the ****** in the black" chant, when are fans going to realise a ****** isnt a celtic fan/player/etc.

Id be tempted to start with the same team next week as nobody deserves be dropped. Its a long season ahead and everyone will get a chance. I was a critic of Mcleish dropping players because someone was walking straight back in the team. Id like to see PLG showing authority by saying nobody walks back in. IMO Ferguson will flourish in that team and it will be Hemdani who makes way but id like to see him bide his time.

Well, I will be really interested to see the response from Rangers and David Murray about the daily record article. Frankie who is MGN BTW? GMP have purely stated it isnt anything to do with Rangers fans so hopefully the club come out and defend us here.

I feel for you guys who have bought tickets and booked the trip. I know if i was in the UK id be going to this. In some cases it wouldnt even be losing out on the hotel booking etc that bothers you's, but missing out on what would of been a great occassion. The most bizarre thing to me is why is it being turned around and played behind closed doors - in Glasgow!! I cant understand that one at all. Great thread lads with well put points. Im sitting on the fence with the Sebo situation. I havent heard of him until we enquired about him so I dont know if he would be a 1.2 million player or a 2.5 million player. But it does seem AV are deliberately upping the price. What does concern me is we are going through PLG's list of strikers (that he wants) and we are not picking any up. The thing concerning me the most is, could PLG be getting P***ed off with not getting the players he wants. He may be thinking "WTF, why isnt the funds available like they were supposed to be". But i hope its his decision not to raise offers and its him that is standing his ground by not over paying (in his opinion) for players.

I find it strange there is the option of going on free transfers. With the talent on offer you would think Juve would stand to make a fortune and all players going to the highest bidder on a option. Im sure all of Arsenal, Man Utd, Chelsea, Real M, Barca etc want Buffon, cannavaro and the rest. BTW i can see Vieira being a Man Utd player next season!

Its scary to think the heights and size both Old Firm would reach if them and us were premiership sides. Before, we had the argument that we had out grown the SPL but we dont have that excuse at the moment after last season when Hearts closed the gap, and could of won the league had their owner not been such a donkey. However i still dont see why we are not trying to get into it, it would make money for the EPL. Im sure the bigger clubs would rather see us and Celtic in the league more than Watford and Reading. But the problem is UEFA want to reduce the top flight to 18 anyway so it would mean reducing the amount of EPL teams buy 5 to let us in which isnt going to happen. I think our best shout is to use the example of Cardiff, Swansea and Wrexham being allowed in when they are welsh. An interesting question to Gers fans would be this:- IF the FA/EPL invited us to England but said the only way we could gain entry to the EPL was to go through all the Divisions, starting in League 2, how many would go for this? I certainly would. There are Ex-premiership clubs in league 1 these days and the majority of championship clubs are ex-premiership regulars. Taking on the likes of Huddersfield is more attractive than playing Livingston, and those League 2 and 1 clubs are as big if not bigger than the SPL clubs.
