Was talking to a guy in my football team this morning who is a fellow teddy bear and a good mate of Stuart McCall. He was back in UK last week and went to a friendly with McCall where Bernard was playing. He said Bernard stood out and played superbly and got up and down the left side very well

You would think so. In any other profession if you behave like Ricksen has done (on more than 1 occassion), you would be sacked straight away and wouldnt be able to do a thing about it. Youl also wouldnt be paid a years salary either. In football the rules must be different. Players must surely have things written into contracts allowing not to be sacked!

Not at all, I honestly cant see us losing much at all because we have a very good squad now with competition for places everywhere. And if the players stand up and be counted then how on earth would someone like Dunfermline or St Mirren have a chance against us. Id rather be confident and optimistic. Yes a defeat is enivitable at some stage, of course it is, but under one of the most talented coaches in europe and with a better squad I can only see us returning to the top of the domestic game straight away.

I dont really see that any of the midlands teams are like a Bluenose side. My mate has is a season ticket at Ibrox is also a big Villa fan, so im looking forward to hearing his opinion on MON. Yeah agreed! I honeslty cant see us losing much games at all in the league this season. Im very confident in this team after only 1 game. I wonder what the odds of being unfeated in the league all season would be!!

How good is it we can get a coupon back on again!! The championship also starts tomorrow and this league got me a few wins last season, there are always banker draws in this league. I havent checked out the coupon yet and prefer it when the EPL starts but I will have a flutter this weekend.
