First time ive seen Adam and we could have a international winger in the mould. I thought he was superb and hopefully he can solve that left sided gap and make it his own. All he has to do is play like that everyweek

I think Cole wants a move to Chelsea and it wouldnt surprise me if he did! However arsenal have Clichy - almost a carbon copy of Cole

Tad concerning Beattie!! :admin:

Well, I will be really interested to see the response from Rangers and David Murray about the daily record article. Frankie who is MGN BTW? GMP have purely stated it isnt anything to do with Rangers fans so hopefully the club come out and defend us here.

I feel for you guys who have bought tickets and booked the trip. I know if i was in the UK id be going to this. In some cases it wouldnt even be losing out on the hotel booking etc that bothers you's, but missing out on what would of been a great occassion. The most bizarre thing to me is why is it being turned around and played behind closed doors - in Glasgow!! I cant understand that one at all. FFS if Celtic are playing Everton on the 25th, change the date to the 24th or 26th - not rocket science, and hold it at ibrox! IMO there is a reason GMP have cancelled it and we are not going to find this out.

P.S I also thought Svensson was signed for a first team centre half, as if he wasnt then who is J Rods partner come start of the season. As for Lovenkrands, i thought PLG could of improved him as a player and id of rather seen the likes of Ricksen, Rae, Malcolm, Andrews etc all head out the door ahead of him.

Great thread lads with well put points. Im sitting on the fence with the Sebo situation. I havent heard of him until we enquired about him so I dont know if he would be a 1.2 million player or a 2.5 million player. But it does seem AV are deliberately upping the price. What does concern me is we are going through PLG's list of strikers (that he wants) and we are not picking any up. The thing concerning me the most is, could PLG be getting P***ed off with not getting the players he wants. He may be thinking "WTF, why isnt the funds available like they were supposed to be". But i hope its his decision not to raise offers and its him that is standing his ground by not over paying (in his opinion) for players.
-
It will be interesting. Im just speculating here, but i wonder if the decision had any refection on celtic recently taking 30,000 to old trafford. Im not sure how the mhanks behaved and if the GMP thought "no, not more from up there"

I find it strange there is the option of going on free transfers. With the talent on offer you would think Juve would stand to make a fortune and all players going to the highest bidder on a option. Im sure all of Arsenal, Man Utd, Chelsea, Real M, Barca etc want Buffon, cannavaro and the rest. BTW i can see Vieira being a Man Utd player next season!

Its scary to think the heights and size both Old Firm would reach if them and us were premiership sides. Before, we had the argument that we had out grown the SPL but we dont have that excuse at the moment after last season when Hearts closed the gap, and could of won the league had their owner not been such a donkey. However i still dont see why we are not trying to get into it, it would make money for the EPL. Im sure the bigger clubs would rather see us and Celtic in the league more than Watford and Reading. But the problem is UEFA want to reduce the top flight to 18 anyway so it would mean reducing the amount of EPL teams buy 5 to let us in which isnt going to happen. I think our best shout is to use the example of Cardiff, Swansea and Wrexham being allowed in when they are welsh. An interesting question to Gers fans would be this:- IF the FA/EPL invited us to England but said the only way we could gain entry to the EPL was to go through all the Divisions, starting in League 2, how many would go for this? I certainly would. There are Ex-premiership clubs in league 1 these days and the majority of championship clubs are ex-premiership regulars. Taking on the likes of Huddersfield is more attractive than playing Livingston, and those League 2 and 1 clubs are as big if not bigger than the SPL clubs.

You fancy AC Milan Danny with a -15 pt start? TBH i have a feeling about them aswell and might stick some cash on them.
-
Yeah noticed that, he is 33 but still looks 12. I dont know how many games he will give Man U this season.
-
Im struggling to pronounce it just be looking at it. Im glad he has signed, IMO you cant have enough midfielders and he gives us yet another option. He could end up being a star this season.
-
Jeez they are shite But did they not have a similar pre-season last year?
-
Only thinkg i cant seem to find is who gets awarded the Scudetto winners for the last 2 seasons now. Or is it just void?
-
Ahh "The midfield controlled the game" music to my ears. Seems we are settling down with our formation and the guys who will definatly start are starting. We also dont like we're getting out of 2nd gear which is another good sign. Roll on the start of the season, i can see Motherwell getting a battering in the first day

Been on the cards since he lost his place, it bugs me to see he cant be bothered to fight for his place just coz he got dropped. I see he waited until he got to South Africa with the club, again probably didnt want to miss out on the trip. Man Utd strikers without him arent Prem Champ material IMO, Saha inconsistent, Smith injured, Solsjkaar Injured, Rossi not proven, Rooney world class They need to get there finger our coz Ronaldo and Ruud will coz problems in the camp so they need to replace them and add to there midfield

Scotland - Rangers England - Liverpool Belguim - Dont care but probably Anderlecht France - Lyon Spain - Real Madrid Holland - Ajax Germany - Bayern Munich Italy - Inter Milan Portugal - Porto

What a mess, and it opens up some questions. Who sis the champions from the last 2 seasons. I dont think it can be Milan if they are kicked out of the CL next season. Fiorentina were just getting back on there feet again after having a poor few seasons and now they have to start again. The 3 teams who were relegated stay up now, i personally think they should still go down and the teams who finished 4th 5th 6th in serie b should go up. Its only fair coz the 4th 5th and 6th teams in serie a benefit by going into the CL. IMO The reason Juve didnt go down to serie C is because the league is so low with poor sides and poor stadia, serie b is a better standard to they will put them there for 2 seasons. But they will have to win every game to go up IMO. If they can hold onto some key players they have an outside chance.

...Is Scott Parker! http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/teams/n/newcastle_united/5180090.stm I cant work out this decision, he has barely kicked a ball for them. Given should of got it.
