One thing is for sure, we all want answers at the moment. Paul Le Guen said he was stunned with Dundee Uniteds winner yesterday and i think every other Gers fan could use this word also. Last Season the team and manager were out of date, but this season our new fresh manager team along with new players just arent getting it right. We all know they need time but the current team from yesterday should still be more than capable of turning over the SPL bottom club especially when they were in command. The excuse of being new-bee's cant go on forever because these guys are training with each other day in day out. But id urge all Bears to once again be patient with things on the park. I have a feeling this week will see our manager kick some butt in the dressing room and rightly so. I think its time to get tough at Ibrox and Murray Park. We have taken a bit of a battering off the park so the team needs its 12th man. Lets stick together and get behind Paul Le Guen and Co.

If Barry Ferguson played to his true potential every game then he would be Rangers class. He does show the desire of someone in the mould of the greats like Gough, Goram, Durrant, Brown etc but he is far to inconsistant.

I think he can be I dont think we will see improvements until at least Feb / March. This seasons league can be written off, but 2nd place is still there for the taken along with a good UEFA cup run along with a domestic cup is what we should be looking for. I think Le Guen will get it right but its next season before we start to look a bit of a force again.

The title of the thread is correct "Not good enough". There should be no excuses to losing a lead to the team bottom of the league. You could take 3 or 4 Rangers players wages and it would cover the hole Dundee United squad. Yet it was the team bottom of the league who showed fight to come back and win. I understand Le Guen needs time and he needs to realise that the Euro system wont work in the SPL but I still dont think thats an excuse for the amatuer performance. There is no leader in the team, the defence is crying out for a no-nonsence centre half. There isnt someone who will stick a foot in and show hunger or desire.

Whislt I agree with your post I think whats happening on the park cant be directed towards behind the scenes at the moment. Murray, Bain and Co are the rotten core of the apple but I cant look to blaming them for the way the 11 players are performing at the moment. PLG picks the team and formation and its plain obvious he hasnt got hold of the SPL yet. The problems on the park are IMO down to the team not even getting the basics right. We brought in players in the summer who are a shadow of former starts like Laudrup and Co. but they should still be head and shoulders above a Dundee United team, and this is a Dundee United team that I couldnt recognised most of there players names. We are not killing teams off, in fact we're not even trying to kill off teams. I still think PLG is the man to lead us in the right direction on the park but i think he needs to get tough and boot some of the players who pull on a Rangers jersey on a saturday, right up the ass. We have to stay positive by looking at it thats its a long term fix to get us back to being champions. By that I mean a full season for Le Guen to start getting it to click.

I think Spurs can get something off Chelsea today and give Man Utd a clear lead at the top. West Ham finally got a win last week but they couldnt have asked for a worse fixture than Arsenal who are playing amazing. I think its an away win here unfortunatly! Villa v Blackburn has got draw written all over it. And of course a Gers victory at Tannadice. Spurs 1-1 Chelsea West Ham 1-2 Arsenal Villa 1-1 Blackburn Dundee Utd 0-2 Rangers
