  1. Where was the GersNet flags at the Molde and Aberdeen games?? I was at both games and couldnt see either of them.
  2. I had a nice treble come up that weekend Arsenal to win at Charlton Chelsea - Villa Draw Sheff Utd to beat Middlesboro and Sheff nicked it in the 92nd min in the 5pm K/off - Great bounce for me, got 170 quid back off a tener.
  3. I assumed it was Mental aswell As for the game, I fancied a point but to take all 3 is just superb and I was very proud when I woke on Sunday and saw the headline "Scotland record famous Victory over France". Walter has transformed our national team and I fancy us to finish in the top 2 in the group. We need to take something from Ukraine as I cant see us winning in France or Italy. I was listening to Radio Scotland on the internet for the built up for a few hours before the game then the commentary went because it was only broadcast to UK And on the TV I had live England v Macedonia (i predicted a draw here) and Czech v San Marino FFS!! We were the only team out of the home nations including Ireland to win at the weekend which made it quite sweet.
  4. I dont think OConnor will be missed but I hope it doesnt upset anything in the team. Before the France game I said if we got 2 pts out of these games Id take it, we have already bettered that so if we get anything from this game its a huge bonus. The only down side to a defeat is it can take the team back down to ground a bit but even if we do lose 1 win and 1 defeat is better than 2 draws that Id of taken. I think this will be a really tricky tie but hope we can sneak a 0-0. Shevchenko is fit BTW.
  5. I liked Sionko a lot after the first couple of games, but he hasnt continued that impressive performances for me, not that I want him injured, but maybe it is a chance for Nacho to get a crack at the whip again.
  6. Whats wrong with Smith?? Letizi and Klos are back in training.
  7. Agreed but Hemdani doesnt merit being dropped at the moment IMO, he has probably been our most consistent player this season. I said earlier in the season I could see all 3 in the team if Ferguson started going further up the park more.
  8. Jury is out on J Rod this season but he did ok last year. I was impressed with Papac against Aberdeen and I think Svensson will come good. I wouldnt mind seeing all 3 playing together in a 3-5-2 with Hemdani sitting in front of them.
  9. Very well deserved. Ive seen him 3 times recently against Celtic, Molde and Aberdeen and I thought he did enough to warrent a Scotland call up, certainly in place of whoever the 3rd keeper is in the squad.
  10. Bad news this especially as Sionko and Burke are out. Id perhaps look at Novo on the right. Id also leave Adam on the bench at the moment as if he gets injured we're buggered on the wings. BTW speaking of Martin, I was sitting right close to the pitch last week at the Molde and Aberdeen games and it isnt until you see players like close up you realise how young they are, Martin looks a toddler.
  11. Vignal was average overall but gave 100% and could of strolled the SPL had he not been greedy. Vidmar was slightly underrated and I liked him as Numans cover at LB. He also could play Centre half which was handy. The other "V" Vanoli was another of McLeish's imposters.
  12. This should be part of everyday training anyway, it makes much more sense and improves passing and movement. Its the way all the asians play aswell and really makes the game quicker and fitness shoots up.
  13. Have you got Prso sitting in the Enclosure there Mike? Id go for: ____________McGregor______________ _Bardsley___Papac__Svensson___Smith ____Hemdani__Ferguson__Rae______ _______Buffel____________Prso______ ______________Sebo_______________
  14. Absolute get in there! What a couple of signings. I was hoping for Malbranque but sack him and il take these 2!
  15. Nah Utd last played Stenhousemuir in a final of the challenge cup a few years back. Isnt the 3rd round of a cup supposed to have about 32 teams? Not the best draw but certainly not the worst. BTW does Dunfermline still have the plastic pitch? Maybe thats the reason we didnt perform there the other week.
  16. Its an easy answer Fozzy that Murray gave WS and DA open cheque books and our dream of conquering (sp) europe never unfolded and we got into a mess. Now we dont have someone willing to say here is 5 million on a player now. Also the Scottish game is standing still and the clubs get pennies now. As for the Tims reason I dont have a clue coz i dont take a interest on how they are being run but it seems they might be in the same boat. They had Fergus McCann who saw an investment and he was also willing to splash cash in order to try stop us doing 9IAR. You look back and also see they had good players 10 years ago in Di Canio, Cadetey Spaghetti, Thom, Van Hooijdonk. Pete is right, where are they getting money for Gravesen from and how are they managing to out bid Newcastle?
  17. Listening to the priest again, did Bobby Fleck moon the tims at parkhead?? I cant remember that
  18. Well if your being picky it is a few more than 2 hours as I know, but what i meant by the 2 hours things is the likes of Reyes who is a short haul from Spain and is homesick.
  19. Boro seem to get a humping 0-4 every season at home, was it not Charlton who did it last season and a guy through his season ticket at McLaren. But i dont think this was there usual freak result, this was down to having that absolute doughnut Southgate in charge. What a stupid appointment by Steve Gibson, this will aome back and bite him on the ass. Boro to go down.
  20. Gribz

    Chelsea

Thats right the Everton game sticks out in my mind when Terry practically had Save of the Season
  21. Ok, il bet you a quid
  22. It hasnt been much more difficult for Chelsea. There isnt much in it between Fulham and Man City in the first game, both finished around the same place last season. Game 2 id say Man U had the harder trip, Charlton have been better than Boro over the last 2-3 seasons and Boro have a doughball in charge. But il give you game 3, Blackburn on paper are much harder than Watford. But if i remember correctly it was Man Utd who rid Chelsea at Old Trafford last season with a Darren Fletcher goal
  23. Ive already got a flutter on with Craig. Jon has already asked aswell but it will start getting messy if i take more bets, but at the end of the day (season) id be a bit more rich
  24. Man Utd are certainly laughing
  25. Well said Frankie mate You could tell it was first thing in the morning tho The burd after you talked a wee bit of muck though, saying we dont want Catholics in the country and saying the 'person' who reported it were drunk?? :admin: As for the priest after her - more nonsense
