  1. You look on paper and would expect us to win most games but who actually knows with this Rangers team. Id say all wins is expecting too much. We beat Dunfermline last week without setting the world alight and came past a troubled Hearts team yesterday. Its a good platform to begin a run but its all about 1 game at a time. We have Killie next so id fancy us taking that, then we surely must be good enought to beat Falkirk, then Hibs will be a good test. My problem is the formation. If we could tweak it so it isnt so unbalanced and out of shape i think we could be beating teams a lot better.
  2. Whats the team?
  3. IMO we would continue heading down the league instead of up. A Ex Hibs and ex Killie striker - who are by no means mighty - leading the line for Rangers FC!!! No thanks from me!
  4. David Taylor was shocked by Raymond Domenech's complaint Scotland have been warned about the amount of time ball boys at Hampden take to get the ball back into play. Uefa upheld a complaint by France coach Raymond Domenech and the referee after Scotland's 1-0 win in October. Scottish Football Association chief executive David Taylor said it was the most bizarre thing he had encountered. "Our ball boys failed to deliver the ball back after (Gary Caldwell's) goal. The happy ending is we got off with a warning," Taylor said. Domenech was unhappy with the conduct of the ball boys during his side's defeat on 7 October after Scotland stunned the World Cup finalists with an unexpected victory in the Euro 2008 qualifier. It's the most bizarre thing I've encountered with Scotland SFA chief executive David Taylor Taylor said he was surprised the conduct of the ball boys had been made an issue. "Our ball boys failed to deliver the ball back after the goal," the SFA chief executive said. "It was in the referee's report and in the match delegate's report. The referee said the ball was not returned to play quickly enough. "We contested that because we didn't feel it was proper. The happy ending is we got off with a warning. France were stunned after losing to Scotland in the Euro 2008 qualifier "It was strange to end up with a disciplinary charge against us for it." Taylor defended Scotland's conduct during international games and said, if anything, the side "err on the side of being sporting". He added: "It surprised us to be charged with such an offence. "It's the most bizarre thing I've encountered with Scotland. "We brief the ball boys during the game. They are Queen's Park's youth players. "We'll need to make sure before the next game, which is against Georgia at home in March, even if we're 1-0 up with five minutes to go, even if the players are saying 'do you have to give the ball back so quickly?' that they do it."
  5. Has the actual true story as to why Dowie was sacked came out yet?? Sounds like he may have been backstabbed??
  6. Any chance of posting it up here mate??
  7. Afraid its a bit out my reach but il be watching it Have we got the whole stand again or jusr 3/4ers??
  8. Just start singing it if you are there!!!
  9. Decent player at most. Would be a decent squad player but not someone who excities me at all! Id rather put the million elsewhere
  10. Its coz Henry played 90 mins for France in midweek and he is only 70% fit at the moment anyway and he has CL to think about this week. Still he should have started with him and took him off after 65 mins.
  11. Agree Arsenal are playing some great stuff again but not in the penalty box. I read about Ronaldo's sitter and then when i watched the highlights i saw the first one and thought that was it but then he blazed the 2nd one over the bar from 3 yards out - unbelievable. I fancy Man U next Sunday IF they are at full strength
  12. Arsenal blew it again. They dont deserve to be challenging for the title if they cant put Newcastle away at home. Thats 4 home games now they have drew (Boro, Villa, Everton, Newcastle) and they should be beating all them except maybe an inform Villa at the time, but even then youd still back them. Liverpool again failed to win at home. They are going to find it hard to get 4th now unless they start winning away. Man Utd and Chelsea are opening up a gap. How good is that game going to be next sunday at Old Trafford!! C'mon the Man U. Hopefully they dont get any players injured against Celtic on Tues.
  13. I think they will resort tho rough play also as they are in a bit of a mess so in order to win the game they will attempt this. But hopefully our football wins in the end! Im pretty confident today. Im not sure who is the ref but i dont think it matters in the SPL, they are all shocking.
  14. Hope thats sung!!
  15. What a disaster the coupon was yesterday!! I thought Charlton would have went to Reading and won. I also had another treble on and not 1 of that 3 came up either!! I'll have a wee bet on todays games aswell as the Gers Hertz match
  16. There is some pretty tasty odds on the coupon for you punters. High flying Forest are away to Scunthorpe at a nice 5/4 Livingston are at home to Gretna and its close in the league between these 2 but Livi are 12/5 As Ian said in another thread the Gers and Dundee United are 6/4 which could both be worth a punt. But my banker treble today is: Charlton to win at Reading 5/2 Everton Bolton draw 11/5 Leeds to beat Southampton at Elland Rd 11/8
  17. Gribz

    Bardsley

BTW can Bardsley play centre half aswell?
  18. Yeah and Svensson and JRod can sweep the stands!!
  19. Gribz

    Goalkeeper

Wonder if Klos will stay on the bench!! Doubt it but id have him on the bench ahead of Letizi
  20. And Albertz unleashing a thunderbolt from 30 yards which leave Borac standing Oh the dreams
  21. Gribz

    Bardsley

He has been back in the squads but Hutton has been playing. Id give him the nod ahead of Hutton JUST
  22. Seems the Hearts fans are going to have a sit-in after our game on sunday. This would be funny if the Bears there sat in with them TBH i can see them leaving early coz they are gettin beat
  23. Yeah but he is also both Liverpool and Englands best Right sided player. But id still play him central.
  24. Yeah, he has certainly slumped this season but when all the talk of the england manager was going on he had a good period which is why i thought that.
  25. Thats debateable Pete. Im all for players who would choose playing regularly rather than sit on a bench and take 20k a week. But we're talking first team football at the likes of Partick Thistle on maybe 500 quid a week tops, or sitting in the Nou Camp bench improving yourself then maybe going to the likes of Mallorca on the bench
