Yeah to an extent - Freedom of speech and all that. But why people would want to sing Non-football songs at a football match is beyond me. It just brings up the nerd topic again that these nerds need to grow up. Calscot, I think you've taken what I first put out of context, I think the Chairman etc are "partly" responsible for making the place quiet but not just coz the banning of the Billy Boys. They allow the likes of Aberdeen fans to take all types of banners but here is Del the other day getting his removed!!! Then Aberdeen fans again get away with singing such dire of the Ibrox diaster, Durrants injury etc and not a thing gets done. If we are going to get our own house in order then surely it applies to every human being who enters the ground no matter who they support. But to make it apply to your own fans only is dreadful management and contractionary. (sp)

If we could get him back around the age of 30 then he will still have a good 3 seasons to sit in our midfield again. He has stated it for years that he would play again so I actually believe this and cant wait until he returns.
-
Not really because it poses the question "what is sectarian"? Some fans dont know what they can or cant sing. Are you saying every single song that is sung shouldnt be sung and they are only songs showing hatred of religion? I agree with your point also that some fans just dont get motivated and sing off there own back some good old Rangers songs. But whoever is in charge of the Pre-match tunes needs sacked as the version of Wolverhamptom Town for E.G is a farce compared to the original.

Its a well put post Frankie, but for the first time I may have to question some of your points. I cant dispute your points to the top of the tree at all - no argument there. In fact I think they are partly responsible for our perfomances ON the pitch. They have turned Ibrox into a morgue and our team no longer has a 12th man at home which always assists a team. It has reflected that no SPL team is scared to come to Ibrox now and they are all capable of getting something from us at the moment. But with regard to the team management and coaching staff, would this not be slight a knee-jerk reaction following saturdays result. Are we still not too early into the Le Guen era to question him and say improve or leave? I think Le Guen himself will know he has to improve and I also think he knows its still early in his days. I actually feel for both of them, they have taken over a rotten apple. We Scots tend to get on our owns backs at early stages and i think the 2 Frenchmen will be unimpressed with critisism. I just hope they are up for turning it round. But IMO we cant make much judgement until at least February. 1 more person who I think should be mentioned is the club captain. Surely he has a duty/responsibility to take things a bit more from the scruff of the neck. I dont like singling out individuals but RFC rescued the man and he walked straight back into a captaincy role. He is repaying us with lacklusture performances and is a shadow of the player of 1999-2003.

14/1 with a tener on it. I'm well up for this season, Im averaging a decent win every 2nd week.
-
2-1, Hearts back in it. I even thought about 3-3 aswell, I'll maybe bet in play in the 2nd half. Cracking game for the neutral.
-
Yeah Craig, but as someone else said on a different thread Klos' saves earned up points. I think it also gives the defence confidence aswell as improving there play.
-
Nah Ive just done correct scores. Hibs 2-1 win - still on Hearts 2-1 win - bust 2-2 draw - still on Must say im quite impressed with HIbs midfield trio of Stewart, Thompson and Brown.
-
Yeah, Hibs came out the blocks flying. Not a bad start to the game. Ive got various bets on so all is not lost. Lol, did you hear the Hibs fans sing "In your Gorgie slums"!! I bet half the Hibs fans live there.

Anyone else think the SFA have made a big error not making Hampden's capacity more? I think it should be at least 65,000 the same as Murrayfield. The french game last week was a prime example, it could have been sold over twice. And when the OF play each there you could sell it over 10 times. If Wales can have a 76,000 stadium why cant we!! When there is the odd semi final between too smaller teams then these games should get switched to Easter Rd etc.
-
Ps, Maybe Klos is just running down his contract and taking the 30k a week wages or what ever he is on, but I know if I was in charge Id be making him earn that money.
-
Well fingers crossed there mate. A few people think Klos' days are numbered but Im not so sure. I think Le Guen realises he has a world class keeper there and he would be crazy not to even give him a game. Its obvious that our defence has been very shakey since Klos got injured and no coincidence IMO.
-
Im watching this game and think il have a flutter to make it more interesting. I fancy Hearts due to Mowbray leaving so I think il do Hearts Half-time / full-time.
-
Fine points mate but I disagree with the fact Le Guen should go if we finish 2nd. It was never going to be a overnight job although most do expect it a bit quicker than next season. If you look at Sir Alex, he was 1 game away from the sack at Man Utd after 3 or 4 years, so these things can take time. Letizi has me at unease being it goal. He doesnt even look like a keeper but the last he needs is his own fans against him. McGregor should have been in goal - no argument there, but we shouldnt boo our own players IMO. There are better ways to make our point known. I would much rather see Klos back in goal though, i think we'd see a massive difference if we had him back.

Adam was impressive in the first few games this season but has went right off the boil. He was obviously out to make a god impression to start with. I also think he hasnt been as effective now that he is playing a more middle role rather than out wide.

The EPL is beginning to take shape and its already exciting that Man Utd and Chelsea are neck and neck. Chelsea were jammy again yesterday with that o.g. right on half time and Reading hit the post aswell. Arsenal are on a run aswell a the moment. That win at Old Trafford a few weeks back has given them confidence again and they will be there or there abouts this season. I can see them getting even better. Liverpool are the only big boy who hasnt started yet, probably due to the rotation policy. And they have Man Utd next week. At the bottom West Ham are in a mess. I can see something happening there this week. The club has been totally distrubed by the takeover talks and the arrival of the 2 Argy's.

Was at Ibrox twice recently and have to say the version of Wolverhampton Town is a joke. The original is 100 times better and more catchy. The one played at Ibrox just now is just a noise that nobody will sing onto.
-
It was easy for Terry to go in goal yesterday anyway. He practically is a keeper when he plays with the dives and saves he does with his hands when attempting a block. Remember Everton away last season, that was save of the season and the ref never even gave everton a pen.
-
...Should we have held onto Zurab Khinzanishvilli?? I watched the Liverpool v Blackburn game yesterday and he has been doing a good job at Blackburn. I think he was another who wasnt giving a good enough run in the team and would have came good for us.
-
A good wee read. Bob was a under rated midfielder IMO. He was ok at the back but played well last season as the holding midfielder when Ferguson was injured. He always seemed to have to be the one who made way, so i hope everything works out for him at Derby.
-
How good would it be if we got him back for a few good seasons. He would certainly teach a few of the players what it means to wear the jersey, hes a proper leader. Its wierd, as im reading that Im wearing my Gattuso T-shirt.
-
Fairly unheard of to have 2 keepers getting hospitalised in the same game. I think both were unlucky and there wasnt malice in the challenges. I wonder if 1 of them will be back for Barca on Wednesday!

Cost me my coupon anyway.
