A wee rush of blood to the head there!! Play him on the left though! Ive said that all along, he is not a central midfielder.

Away you go Pete, Hasselhoff was a joke. On yerslef Juffrey!!

Frankie, Surely stating that a huge amount of fans are behind Le Guen at the moment isnt a playing matter. All we are saying is ignore those who dont seem to know about football. Maybe the likes of John McMillian play a bigger role here. He is quick enough to comment on Mcleish last year, so id like to hear him if there are so many fickle fans around at the moment. Maybe Ive misunderstood the situation due to being so far away but I assume there is quite a lot of rife between the fans at the moment.

IMO id urge the likes of the trust and supporters voices back Le Guen on behalf of the fans. I know Id like my voice heard. Im still finding it hard to believe he is getting such critisism already.
-
Yeah agreed except for me personally the first statement is the Hard option and the 2nd statement is the easy option.

Arrogance is in the French nature, trust me I worked with a few of them and Ive been there 4 or 5 times and it doesnt matter if they are a train ticket officer or Arsene Wenger they believe they are perfectionists. Im not saying they are bad people tho. However Le Guen will still get the chance to get things right and rightly so!

Surely thats where the voice of the fans (fan reps and group reps i.e. Frankie), come in and say yes the main core and decent fans give you time?

Not sure about that Jonc, he has said Rae should be at RB and started a thread about liking songs from Girls aloud and Paris Hilton, id say thats a yellow card. Only joking Fraze, take no notice!!

Still no way young man!

Lol, Paycut!!!! He'll need to move back home with his folks

I wonder if thats NI's best place ever, they are normal around 89th and Wales 101st. With Wales the lowest home nation on 77th i also wonder if thats the best all 5 have been positioned at 1 time. I certainly is since I can remember

Aberdeen are set to swoop for Rangers midfielder Gavid Rae during the January transfer window. (Daily Record) Anyone know anymore about this story? I know he is a Aberdeen lad and supporter so he might fancy it. He would give them a decent midfield with Barry Nicholson (Ex Ger) and Severin. I find him a decent squad player but no more but I would still like to see him get a few games until Clement comes back.

PS on a similar note I think the Euro games will be more suited to Le Guen's items and system as he hasnt quite grasped the SPL yet. So fingers crossed.

Im just watching a re-run of the Hibs away game coz i havent seen it yet, and it just dawned on me that Le Guens signings are similar to Walter Smiths. They are pretty much un-heard of so we are now waiting on Le Guen to do what Walter Smith couldnt do (in Europe) and gel these players together and produce a winning formula. The difference between the 2 is WS bought his players for big bucks while Le Guen has needed to be shrewd so I know some will say they cant be compared. I know some will also say they cant be compared coz WS had world class players like Laudrup and Gascoigne but at the time 4.5 million Gazza was a huge risk after his off field antics, 2 leg breaks and his other injuries. Laudrup on the other hand was also having a nightmare at AC Milan and had to go to Fiorentina on load. Luckily for us both them came through and are now legends. So we now have to wait and see now if Le Guen can wave his wand and gel a team together which boasts no superstars. This bear believes he will come good. Im not saying CL success but the league title and 1 or 2 SFA Cup and a good euro run by the end of next season.

I knew Chelsea would win this and they were by far the better side. Drogba was brilliant and it was almost a carbon copy of the goal v Liverpool. If Robben had started instead of Shevchenko then it would have been 3 or 4 nil. As for Shevchenko I know he is a good striker but ive always thought people raved about him a bit much. He isnt suited to Chelseas style of play. And when you compare the 30 million they paid for him to the 10 mill Madrid paid for Van Nistelrooy you have to laugh.

Just a wee bit of fun, lets see what team of Ecks puddings we can come up and see if any would be missed just now, I'll start with a few and continue: Waterreus - No Bernard - no Dragan - no Emerson - maybe if he was at his best Capucho - I think Capello would be better Ostenstad - tee hee hee

I think were missing Mlandnovic more than Ricksen right now. Nando had too many chances and rocked the boat too often. He had 1 good season out of 6? and nobody still knows whether he is a RB, midfielder or even a keeper. Stay away Ricksen, you played well for a new contract then blew it.

I agree with Craig here, Hemdani has been our only stand out this season and maybe Boyd and McGregor would be in with a shout if they were playing everyweek. Hemdani breezes through games without being noticed which is the sign of a good player. I think he would be even better with Clement next to him.

Its slightly a different topic so Fraser was right to start a new thread. C'mon Beattie whats your problem over the past day or so, your having a sarky comment about most things. We want as much good posts on here as possible and most of them have been good recently.
-
Wouldnt say that. Its merely a point that he needs time so settle in and get things going, its still only October just now and we cant compare last year to this year as Eck had his own squad in place and had been there for 4 years. As ive said repeatedly lets wait until at least February before comments on Le Guen.

Durrant on Klos: Rangers manager Paul Le Guen faces another tough goalkeeping decision with the return of Stefan Klos. Klos has been out since March with knee ligament damage but played the 90 minutes as Rangers reserves drew 2-2 with Aberdeen. Gers reserve team coach Ian Durrant said Klos' return would give Le Guen a selection headache. "We now have an abundance of top quality goalkeepers at the club so the manager faces a big dilemma," he said. Durrant said Klos still had much to offer the Ibrox side. "Stefan did well considering it was his first game for a long time and you could see the old agility is still there," he said. "He is a fantastic goalkeeper and in the two years I have been back at the club I've been impressed by the standards he sets himself. "He is a winner who has played at the highest level and it says everything about him that he was desperate to get back playing even though it was on a bleak night in Montrose." Le Guen's decision to drop Allan McGregor in favour of Lionel Letizi caused controversy among Rangers fans, who felt McGregor should have kept his place. According to Durrant it doesnt sound like he just wants to see out his career. C'mon Der Goalie.

Scotland up to 25th in the rankings now after the France win! That is getting very respectable. NI (46th) go above R of Ire (49th) while Wales are 77th. England are 5th.

This boy and N'Diaye definatly deserve a chance in the first team.
-
Im not so sure. Id take a draw right now and rely on winning our home games. We need to finish in the top 3. But does finishing 3rd mean we would get a team who is dropping from the CL?

CSKA were 2/1, i cant believe i never backed them when i fancied them at that.
