Depends what crowd show up - The SPL or the Big Euro night crowd. If its anything near the Porto game last season they will freeze!

Im glad i never got up to watch it coz id of been Peed off chelsea nicked a point.

Nah Hibs and Sheep did the damage last season. Fook me - Hibs, The Sheep, United and Caley!!! :admin: Not good enough
-
It will be interesting to see if Brewster can guide Dunfermline in the same way as he did Caley and ends up putting United down coz of it. With Levein at Utd it could be a good wee battle down there now. I wonder how Joan Collins will get on at Easter Rd with no managerial experience

Its absolute mad how many new players come to ibrox and get injured - its happened time and time again. I sure Sionko was only a week behind Clement (when i last read the offical site).

Gersnet Analysis: David Murray ââ?¬â?? His Last Performance?
Gribz replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
Quality read Frankie, and very interesting. Thats the kind of info i like to read when i dont hear stuff so much over here. Certainly seems like its 1 or the other for the mint. -
Thats not the way to look at it I thought the same when Brewster took over and expected them to be a top 6 team but they have shown they can a group of dumplings. They are due a thumping for that 2-2 draw in August.

Yeah good post Calscot and id agre with maybe 85% of your post. Keepers: Agree here, why we pay a world class keeper 30k a week to play reserve team football is just pure baffling. Its no coincedence our defence has let in goals since Jan 05 when he got injured. It looks like he is away sooner rather than later and im dissapointed. Letizi just doesnt look like a keeper but as you say hes been around in France. Id still rather we get a Niemi type keeper in. Defenders: Again agree with you fully here, but to be fair to Svensson i think he is a good defender who hasnt adapted to the SPL yet. He is more suited to european style play. Jrod baffles me as he came good last season but seems to have went 2 steps back. Agree with Hutton (back up for a new RB). Midfield: Slightly unfair IMO on Hemdani, i think he is strolling games but we arent bossing midfield games simply coz we are always a man short against the opposition in that department and as u say we dont have a Stuart McCall. Sionko looked a steal early on but then had a few quiet games, but im hoping he gets back to fitness soon. Your spot on with Burke and Clement, and agree mostly with the likes of Rae Adam etc. Captain Ferguson - 3 good games doenst make everything rosey in the garden for me with him. If he has another 7 good games before Xmas il start to think he is better and he will have to chip in with some goals. Strikers: Again see what your saying, but Boyd IMO should also be having a few reserve run outs to develop into the complete striker. Sebo - Needs a first team run out with a Novo or a Buffel type partner. Novo - Hopefully getting back to his best. Buffel - Our most talented player but i think he has a twin who turns up for him half the time. Prso - Has been superb but as you say, now should be a super sub.

I thought he was a fine player for us. Scored that peach in europe against Leverkusen??
-
No bad he had pre-written out the players names on the apples for the dunkin contest
-
I can see this being a wee bit mis-interpreted, he would be the only president to think so. However in his case, UEFA have de-valued the UEFA cup due to putting so many teams in the CL. They should get back to putting Max 3 teams in from each big league and that would mean 1 bigger team from each league in the UEFA. Also bring back the Cup Winners Cup
-
I bet Barry wasnt happy after going to all that bother buying those apples for the dunkin contest
-
Sionko was superb against Motherwell and Dundee Utd in the first few games
-
I wouldnt brand Boyd near McCoists league. Boyd is a poacher and can get goals, he has proved that, but so did Billy Dodds and he wasnt a McCoist either. To have a poacher in the side you need to play a big strong striker off him and NOT leave him on his own. He is still young and learning but I agree he wouldnt be in my XI either, id rather see Sebo and Novo line up with each other.
-
If this is true, i find it a bit off putting. Ferguson could knock Smiths confidence by giving him a rollocking in the tunnel, this should have been done in the dressing room. Or even better he should have put his arm round his shoulder and had a quiet word to build the lads confidence.
-
I think we are badly missing Sionko, Burke and Clement. Those 3 have played very well until injured. Along with Hemdani those 4 would be the 4 id have first on the team sheet. Im not so sure about ditching the 4-2-3-1, its just all about getting the right personnel in. _______________Letizi_______________ Hutton___Svensson__Papac_____Smith _________Hemdani___Clement________ ___Sionko_____Ferguson*______Burke__ ______________Sebo_______________ * Only if Barry attacks in that position, if not put Buffel in.

I would go along with that also, although he has played well recently but he needs to do it week in week out. But its true when he came back into the team this season our sexy football from the first few games went out the window. Ive said for 2 years now that he takes on too much responsibility in the midfield by taking possession too deep. He should be getting forward more like he did against Porto last season at Ibrox where he was fantastic. But his heart is in the right place and he has the right attitude.
-
A good way of looking at it i suppose, but we need to get the finger out for 2nd place. I think we will get it and i can see us getting out of our UEFA group. The scottish cup would be a nice wee prize and set things up for next year.

Obvious this was happening at United. Levein is supposed to be lined up to take over at Tannadice. Its Mission Impossible there, I thought Brewster might have done ok but he was shocking. I think Levein might be ok though. Brewster supposed to be going to Dunfermline to replace Leishman. Joan Collins ready to take over at Easter Road. With all this changes I think Hearts will bet getting jealous and reveal some big news this week.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/europe/6096072.stm Strachan joked that he knew that Beckham's wife, Victoria, was "a big fan of Tunnock's wafers". :D I can just imagine her tucking into a big wafer! "She's had enough of the sun and there's nothing wrong with some decent rain for 10 months a year," he said.

How good were Man Utd yesterday!! Watched the game and for the first 30 mins they battered Bolton and Rooney was awesome as was Giggs again. Not many sides will go to Bolton and win this season never mind stuff them 4-0. The title chase is well on already! Chelsea were jammy again, lucky goal right on half time like last week, ive no idea what Paddy Kenny was doing. Plus a stupid Penalty miss from Sheff U.

Its all about getting back to basics and common sense. Its not rocket science. Once again (same as last season) we are lining up with only 2 midfielders (Ferguson and Hemdani). Buffel and Adam arent natural midfielders, so we are going to struggle in midfield. The back 4 have still not clicked yet but at least we have 2 full backs and 2 centre halfs lining up. Then comes the midfield which 3 managers in a row now (if you include DA's last season) have managed to miss out. Every fan can see the SPL is a fast furious game so requires packing the midfield with 3 or 4 REAL midfielders. Up front, Im still not Boyds biggest fan but he is a poacher, so if we have a poacher in the side we need to accommodate this type of player with a tough hard working striker behind him. I still think Le Guen is the man to take us to a next level but he hasnt grasped the SPL yet and i do think it will be February before we see advances on the pitch again.

Fook me, where the M8 comes into Glasgow is enough of a joke with 3 lanes never mind with only 1. Expect a crowd of about 3000 today then

Id sack Letizi and give Klos an extra year. Bar far the best keeper we have! Klos is a legend and not far off Goram
