Great idea BTW Barry

Manager Paul Le Guen will leave Rangers of his own accord if results and performances do not improve by Christmas. (Daily Express) Rangers are considering a move to bring Scotland manager Walter Smith back to Ibrox if Paul Le Guen is sacked by Christmas. (The Sun) Im assuming both are nonsense as usual!!?
-
He is finding it difficult to get some form back after his injury, not sure if cardiff would be the best place for him, that league is tough! Get him to Ibrox please!!!
-
Dont walk down Harlem with a sign that says "I hate Niggers" - Sorry just watching Die Hard with a vengence and thats what Brucey Willis had to do!!!!
-
Hopefully we do get some targets in January. Id rather they come in then (even if they were cup-tied) so they could settle for the start of next season. We dont want a repeat of this season where we have to gel new players again.
-
The thought of Dunfermline at home wouldnt fill with me excitement anyway, however if i had a ticket id still be going. Who knows - we might even give Dunfermline a thumping!!!
-
I'll be picking a treble from these 5 selections, likely the ones in bold: Everton v Aston Villa - Draw 2/1 Man City v Newcastle - Draw 9/4 Leeds to beat Colchester 11/10 West Ham to win at Middlesboro 9/5 Dundee Utd to beat Kilmarnock 6/4
-
Glad someone can reply sensibly also and realise that I wasnt being anti BF and just asking the question I thought against Dundee Utd at Ibrox that that was the best id seen Rangers play in years despite the freak result. It really should have been 8-2 that day. Also agree in europe he is a different player and controls games properly!

I cant blame Murray for what we are witnessing on the pitch either at the moment unless he is entering the dressing room and telling them not to look interested on the pitch. They arent motivated, there is no desire or hunger, they look like they dont know each other and there is too much changes week in week out. Had we had Romanov in charge then id be thinking Le Guen isnt picking the team but i think Le Guen still needs time.
-
Yeah il go with that aswell. There should be someone in the back doing the motivating like Durrant though.
-
I would still say last year was the worst. Probably only because we played good stuff at the start of the season and its early in Le Guens time and I have a feeling he will get better. McLeish should have built himself a better foundation after 4 years but slipping down the way.
-
Do you think Murray would get the message?
Gribz replied to Lyngers's topic in General Football Chat
He was at Cardiff he might -
BTW this is a prime example of why i put up the thread "Lets stick toegther". Because you get jokers like Harper who are thriving on a Rangers slump. They care more about this than there own team winning. Have you ever heard such nonsense - Will Rangers will the title again?? - Garbage! We'll be back to show them WATP.
-
He does sound about patronising but he is still trying his best to get a support motivated.
-
Post of the day! 3-5-2 Couldnt agree more, i think it would get us back to dominating games and it would keep 2 up top which would help Boyd out!
-
If Boyd believes this, he needs his head looked at

Its say it was a fantastic achievement but if we finished 7th in the league and went out the SFA cup in jan then that wouldnt be great. But we need to be in europe next season IMO. -
Im not blaming Fergie for last nite, im just asking if its coincidence we have played better when he wasnt in the team. As for last nite, Rae and Clement is too weak a midfield after Clement is recovering from injury and Rae hasnt kicked a ball much
-
Rae and Clement who have barely kicked a ball recently! They werent match fit enough ao were always going to be lacking. Plus it was 4 v 2 again in midfield
-
Fine post Steve with good points. Everyone was knee-jerk reacting last nite, and i still think everyone backs the manager. I do!
-
Just looking at that team again from last night, its the same problem as last year - its a 4-2-4 Buffel is not a real midfielder so that means Rae (who has barely kicked a ball this season) and Clement (3rd game in 5 days after a layoff) in the midfield. Im not surprised we lost. 4-2-4 is a struggle at the best of times never mind when the 2 havent been playing.

While we are all looking for answers as to why we cant seem to play basic football now, im looking at the patches in the last 12 months as to when we have played well domestically. Its always been when Captain Ferguson is not playing. Now i know he wasnt playing last night but, last season For EG up at Inverness, we played them off the park with Boab Malcolm playing superbly in the holding role and the likes of Burke etc getting forward. This was a trend for a few games until Ferguson returned. The start of this season saw us playing superb stuff in 3 of our first 4 games against Motherwell, DU and Hearts. Once again Ferguson wasnt playing. Now BF gives all for the Gers - nobody can doubt that, but his style of play just isnt suited to allow others in the key midfield area into the game. He tries to dictate everything himself too much and takes on too much responsiblilty.
-
I think last nights defeat to the hands of a SFL Div1 side is the final straw for many a Gers fan. We now demand action. We are not calling for the managers head, we simply want answers as to what direction our club is going. The Chairman or sidekick must at least make a statement on issues on and off the park. On the park - what is going on? The average street cleaning fan (no offence to a street cleaner) can clearly see holes in the team that the most sought after young coah in Europe cant. Our defence is a shambles and cant win a football in the air, something so simple as that! Or midfield is once again lacking in numbers and most of all shape. That has been a massive problem for a couple of years now! Its not rocket science. Upfront its either 1 or 2 strikers but its guarenteed to be someone different every game. We demand answers!! The players and manager also need to give us answers but we want the talking form them on the pitch against Dunfermline on saturday. Anything less than a spirited win is not good enough.
-
Who knows the answer???? Well there isnt 1 quick fix answer that is for sure. But on the park the players need a good kick up the backside. The manager admits he is under pressure so its time for him to stop being stubborn and come out of his shell and drill it into these players what they need to do. He needs to sort out his first XI and play them consistantly. Id rather we were poor with the same team for a few games so we can at least try to resolve it, rather than chopping and changing every game. EVERY player needs to give at least 60% more effort and fight, and make it last for 90 mins. It seems they have to much belief that they are going to beat teams without trying. David Murray you MUST now come out with some statement or another. I dont care if you come out with the latest price of a cucumber at asda, at least open your mouth!!!

I agree 30000 is a good crowd all things considered. You have to Remember its not easy coming out and talking to 1000s of people when they are on a low.
