Yeah agreed, he is no McCoist, i cant believe folk compare the 2. Super Ally did so much more off the ball. Boyd is useless unless he is up there with a Mark Hateley. Without one he makes Capucho look a player!

Yeah and watch us play amazing!!!!

Real Madrid will get £107M from tv every YEAR

Calscot - EH!! Are you telling me it costs the same to go from Glasgow to Gent (yes where is that after you fly to Brussels for 120 quid?) as it does to take a 25 quid train from Aberdeen to Glasgow!! I think you should be a travel agent if thats the case!!! -
Some accountant you are!! Lira doesnt exsist anymore (unless your a Turk)!!!! But your were on about Italian
-
Fuck me, pessemistic (sp) bassa's Remind me not to let yous know when Earth play Mars next!!!

In that case folks, Charlton and Fulham are bankers if Gav dissapproves

Gordon Bennent!! (not him) I dont want to see Hemdani in there long term despite him impressing me last week v Hearts. Id like to see Ponroy at some point before deciding but Id stick with Svensson and play him with Papac.

Good news, but he will still be missed on sunday. Wonder who will play LB, Papac or Murray!!

After reading a post from Calscot (cant remember where) that said Chelsea are 180 million in debt im slightly confused. How on earth can they be in this sort of debt if Abramovic is a billionnaire or more to the point WHY are they in debt. I thought it was his money that they used to buy players and not funding from elsewhere. I have higher Accounts from school but im no accountant as that was 9 years ago, but i can still work out that 180 million debt creates a lot of interest to be paid back. Why would Roman use elsewhere funding and then pay back interest when he can use his own funds. All it says to me apart from stupidity is that he could walk away tomorrow and Chelsea wouldnt exsist! Can some maybe explain???

The Atlantic league sounded the most relistic at the time as there was serious discussion in it. I like the thought of your idea Calscot with the bottom team from each country being relegated back to domestic league. However the SPL would die without Rangers and Celtic, never mind taking Aberdeen Hearts and Hibs out. Then theres the problem of expecting fans to travel to europe every 2nd week for a game unless its a Scottish side. Therefore linking up with 1 other euro country is more realistic but there wouldnt be much point in that. -
Back to the old coupon once again seen as I gave the midweek betting a miss. Im due a win after some horrendous results last week. Im going for 3 London clubs all at home: Charlton to beat Everton 8/5 Fulham to beat Reading 11/10 West Ham to beat Sheff Utd 8/11 I may also throw in Derby to beat Leicester at 8/11 Tener pays 162 for the Quad, not the greatest odds but its a tricky coupon this week. Also an interesing battle in the Championship. Wolfs v Sunderland (Mick McCarthy v Roy Keane)

Game of the Weekend by a a country mile!! Im pretty much looking forward to it. Both teams got beat in midweek although Chelsea wont be that bothered as they were already through, but Man Utd may have had the confidence knocked out of them as they played there strongest side on Tuesday. But Sir Awex said it himself, they need to pick themselves up if they are determined to win the title. They have a huge incentive that they can go 6 clear of Chelsea if they were to win. They will also take confidence that they won this fixture 1-0 last season with a Fletcher goal. If they can get over there unlucky defeat to Celtic and play as they have been doing in the EPL I can see them knicking it. Man Utd 2-1 Chelsea

Time we got Richard Gough in as a coach!!!

BTW Ian, Was it yourself who i sat next to at the Porto game last season in the Broomloan?? Maybe Frankie can clear that up as i sold him the ticket and he passed it on the chap??

Didnt see the game but annoyed i never back a draw. However its the result that see's us through so now we can put european football to the back of our minds and leave it until February, and now concentrate on the SPL. Fair play to the lads for coming back twice on what seems a soaking pitch. But after reading everyones posts this central defender issue is just going to grow. Also sounds like Sionko played well when he came on?? Can someone confirm?? He is a MUST to start on the right on Sunday!!
-
We need a defender more than a midfielder. The midfield just needs re-shaped with the personnel we have already. But losing Smith is a huge blow, hopefully this isnt serious. Perfect timing from Ian Murray to come back just now but he will need a few games to get match fit. But a centre half is needed desperately. Gav is right, as good as Hemdani is he isnt a centre half. Im wanting us to go and sign Steven Pressley more by the day.

Is the Bermuda currency 10000 to the pound ?

Agree with Ian on this, if he brings in inexperience why not try our own youngsters like Furman, Stanger, Ponroy, N'Diaye, Ashokidi (sp). The squad is crying out for experienced players and id like to see 1 or 2 bigger named players added in january whether it be permanent or loans

Dont know if im jittery but i certainly dont know what to expect tonight. League form seems to go out the window in europe but thats only been on 2 games. At the start of the group this was probably our toughest match (seen as Partizan was at Ibrox i wouldnt have faniced going there), but the fact we have 2 wins already sets us up nicely. Again it will be interesting to see if Le Guens system works better in Europe and I fancy us to get a draw.

He hasnt played nearly enough games, hopefully if he extents his stay he shows the promise that he came with

Clement Brands Rangers "Stepping Stone To Bigger Things"
Gribz replied to Beattie's topic in Rangers Chat
I dont like Clements comments, it says to me he is using Rangers just like players in the past and we all know how times its crept up and bit former players in the butt before. I wonder if Fergie really means he hopes Celtic go on and do better But overall im sure we will progress and that means both OF teams in europe after Xmas (i think for a first time in years) which can suggest the SPL isnt that much of a minor league. -
Yeah I wish I thought of Quashie before Jensen
-
Im looking for experience on a budget. Mills is a hot head at times but an experienced RB who I think would stroll the SPL and he wouldnt cost much. Pressley defines what our defence needs just now - again on the cheap. Jensen is capable of scoring 10 goals a season and shoots from far out. He would also add bite in the midfield something we still lack. Again he comes with experience. He isnt a world beater but on par with the likes of Quashie who a lot of us wanted last season (and Quashie is another id still take BTW).
-
Not for me. Ok they got a win against Hearts but that team is the foundation of problems. Yes we want a settled squad but lets get players in positions and play guys who are fit. Ferguson should be an attacking midfielder and stop playing so deep and getting in others ways. He tackled Hemdani twice last sunday and you could see Hemdani was annoyed. Novo isnt any use wide right. Prso isnt fit. Adam doesnt play wide left although he could in a flat midfield 4. Boyd is non-exsistant upfront on his own.

And yet another SPL player. Add that to Brown, Thompson and possibly Anderson or Pressley. No thanks from me.
