I'll give credit where credit is due and I feel I have to credit Ferguson because ive been critical of him. I know his ability and agree that on the top of his game he runs matches. But there is no hiding place for him now he needs to be consistant. Great to also see him score again and this another part of his game id like to see him get back to doing. Did he not get about 20 goals in the 02/03 season.

Unbelivable!! I said a draw (0-0 or 1-1 and id of went 1-1) and i didnt put it on!! As for the game Arsenal should have won it. Cole fouled Hleb that lead to the goal and despite it being unstopable it shouldnt have happened. Arsenal controlled parts of the game and i just dont know how they cant play like that everyweek or they would be challenging. Then Hleb blazed that shot over the bar when it was 1-1 - I shouted at my TV then. all he had to do was take a touch or just place it. Drogba is a fairy. How many times does he go down like he gets shot. He actually injured himself near the end with one of his dives because he tried to make it look more dramatic his leg came down worse and he limped for a while. But at least Man U are 8 clear. Mourinho had a few strong words to say to Ferguson about it not being over. This is good to see Chelsea doing a bit of chasing now - We are in for a cracking 2nd half of the season. Now this is encouraging and great to hear. Its refreshing to see we played a flat 4-4-2 formation with everyone in natural positions and the result tells its own story. Glad to hear Sionko done well on the right, i rate him. Hopefully this is all carried into the OF game next week

Yeah il agree with that Pete, he cant come in for critisism if he plays well every week so as you say 3 games in a row isnt good enough. Its great to hear he was MOTM against Hibs so lets hope he is MOTM next Sunday in the OF also.

I like the title of this thread - The Current Team coz it makes debate about who should be in and who should be out/ Bottom line is we are having the same problems as last 2 years under McLeish - We dont have a midfield. When we do, its Ferguson and thats it, and when Clement plays Ferguson takes over every role. When Ferguson doesnt play (last season when we played well at Inverness and the start of this season) we play well. What Im saying is get rid of Ferguson, bring in Hemdani and Clement together and I can honestly see the team starting to play flowing football. I love Barry Ferguson's desire for Rangers but he ruins the team.
