    Klos

I heard on ESPN today that he was going for him
  2. Gribz

    Klos

    See thread Osqueel wanted Klos
  3. A few people have told me his supports celtic. I thin k it was people on here aswell! They saw him once in a bar and he had his celtic scarf in his pocket or something.
  4. Only the unknowns of Zulte Waregem would seem like a good draw. I dont fancy Feyenoord 1 bit or Fenerbache. Then Leverkusen would be a tough one aswell. Tel-Aviv may mean a trip to Israel So its Braga or Waregem for me and maybe Lens.
  5. See what your saying Craig, but i thought id throw this point in that a lot of the bomb scares started when Klos got injured so maybe we've to put it down to defenders and keepers not communicating. But Mcgregor is coming onto a game and has kept what 4 clean sheets in 5??
  6. I suppose after reading some of that points it makes it harder for us to get him. It would all depend on a fee and who we would be up against should we go for him.
  7. Yeah, and IMO its no coincidence that a midfield containing 4 REAL midfielders assisted on our good win against Hibs. And not only 4 real midfielders but everyone was in a proper position. TO get the best out of Boyd he needs a Hateley type partner and he hasnt had thats. I have been a critic of Boyd but as you say the blame cant be put on him when the other 10 havent been performing.
  8. So they did the first good step of getting rid of Tim Delacunt??
  9. Agree the flat 4-4-2 was a reason for improvement but difficult to say after 1 game. The next few games will maybe tell though but its a good shout as we dont use him in the right way and it changes our play.
  10. Fantasy?? Im hardly on about Petr Cech! It wouldnt surprise me at all if we went for him. I know Arsene Wenger is a fan after the France match and they will be looking to replace Lehmann soon so I can believe that one and IF we were up against Arsenal then we wouldnt have a chance. But at the moment he is with Hearts so its a possibility
  11. Gav, yeah that was the CWC in 1991 - they beat Barca 2-1
  12. Mark Hughes was 19th, McClair was quite high and Ole Gunnar was around 35th. Pallister and Bruce again were in there. I'll get the full list up when i watch the repeat. Paul Parker wasnt on it. He was 1 of a few names that wasnt on that i picked up on.
  13. Yeah he's a Hammer. Played in Jon and Petes era from 1975 til the year i was born 1879 I fancy them to nick something on Sunday aswell now, i just hope Chelsea drop points at Everton before it
  14. I agree Rooney is too far up at the moment. Cole and Yorke were like 40th and 42nd if i remember correctly.
  15. Ok Barry cheers. Seems to have sorted itself out this afternoon but Im at home now. Maybe its just the connection at work i have problems with.
  16. Absolute balls of a program and has been since Jim White left in the early to mid 90's. Im glad i dont even have the option to watch it. It used to be good when it was on at 5pm on a sunday afternoon with highlights of game of the day, while Sportscene had the other good game on a saturday night. The only reason i used to watch it was for Sarah O - is she still on it? And is that Orkney twat still on it also?
  17. Error on page when i click on it - what does it say??
  18. Was watching MUTV last night and it revealed the Top 50 players in there history out of this new OPUS book which costs 3 grand. The top 10 were: 1) Bobby Charlton 2) George Best 3) Roy Keane 4) Duncan Edwards 5) Denis Law 6) Bryan Robson 7) Eric Cantona 8) Peter Schmeichal 9) Ryan Giggs 10) Paul Scholes I cant doubt the choice of top 10 except maybe Gary Neville could have been in there but id have had Ryan Giggs in the top 5. Rooney was 11th, Ruud VN - 13th, Beckham 14th. Rio Ferd 48th, Teddy Sher 50th.
  19. Ah, just read that also! Will be interesting to see how we line up then if Buffel and Rae are likely to start.
  20. Jury is out on Webster anyway. He hasnt done anything for Wigan but it doesnt look like we are going for him anyway. J Rod and Letizi on there way out!!! Sorry but thats great news. Id still take Pressley aswell as Gohouri and move Hemdani back to midfield. It brings the goalkeeper question back around though. If Letizi leaves we need a 2nd keeper as Klos will also leave at the end of the season. Who would we go for?? - Craig Gordon?? But if we did go for Gordon who would be No.1!
  21. It would get 30k a week of our wage bill. Interesting to read he may play tonight though but i think he'll stick with McGregor.
  22. If that was the options id want that Wargame by a country mile! The others are potential banana skins. Agree Pete, i think we'll get at least a point to win the group
  23. Im surprised (but happy) that this has been wrapped up so quickly. It means the new owners only had 1 man in there minds and Curbs would probably do the job for nothing. This will be a massive test for him. He has only ever been the manager of Charlton but did wonders in making them a regular EPL club and getting top half finishes. You just look at Charlton this season to realise what they have lost. But the test is can he take a bigger club onto a better level. I certainly think he will get us out of trouble this season and make us a top half club next year. But what a buggar of a start - Man Utd on Sunday
  24. Totally agree with Ascender, Pressley is a player id take even if Svensson and Papac were doing well. He would be a great back up. But seen as our defence is poor we should have signed him up by now. The bottom line is he is a good defender who will give 110% and is exactly what we require at the moment.
  25. Im having major probs this morning, "This page is not displayed" every 2 minutes and the forum is running slow. Dont mean to moan, but is anyone else getting it?
