Anyone who watched the Rangers v Hearts game live on Saturday might have caught Walter going nuts at the referee during the game. He came screaming out the dug out at a poor decision and was fizzing. The best bit about it was Coisty's reaction. He couldnt keep a straight face and was pissing himself laughing at Walters reaction. He turned to Chick Young and burst out laughing and had a sneaky look to see if anyone saw him laughing. The cameras were on the dug out at the time :D Great to see emotion and laughs like this again.

I still think he can play a role for us. He has loads of ability and is a player who can turn a game (if he wants). He is still young 24, 25. On his day he is better than Hartley, so Im kinda glad he is still here. He needs to buckle down and work hard.

Id have liked Hartley as I still think we need that type of player due to Brown and McCulloch not coming. But in a way its a million pound that goes back into the bank until the summer that can be spent on a better player. He isnt a match winner and as everyone says he will be 31 soon. With him and Lennon in the same team I like there midfield even more :admin:

Just looking at that team we have strength in depth at the back. To have the luxury of 4 centre halfs in 1 game is refreshing, that with still 1 to come back.

We cant complain about Webster, Ehiogu, Weir and Thompson. I think we'd have all taken that 4 weeks ago. Im dissapointed about not getting McCulloch. Brown would have been nice aswell to top it off. Im not bothered by Hartley. I think he would have been good for us but nothing spectacular.

....To Man City Hope he does well and gets back to regular good football. He was a player I liked at Ibrox but after Advocaat subbed him at parkhead things went downhill for him. Then he got his injury. I dont know how well he did at PSV - Im sure Pete can inform us on that

Hibernian 3-1 St Johnstone. Its good for Scottish football to see another final without the old firm. Hibs v Kilmarnock could be a decent final with 2 teams playing good football and both have a chance of silverware for the first time in a long while.

Cant say im dissapointed about Mascherano leaving. He hasnt kicked a ball. We'll see how he does at Liverpool. Curbishley signed another defender - Upson, to make it 3 centre halfs in january. He now has about 7 centre halfs for the second half of the season so id expect an improvement at the back for West Ham. No excuses now that we "should" we winning games.

If Hartley goes to them then its not the end of the world but i still wouldnt mind him coming to us. But its not essential now we have Thompson. The Brown situation is still interesting. Its also good to hear everyone rave about Brown and Thompson. McCulloch is still my first choice though. I really hope we put our offer up for him. Even if we dont get Hartley we could use that money for McCulloch. He would solve our left hand side problem with Adam being cover for him, and Burke can also play there. McCulloch can also play upfront if we need so he would be like 2 signings.

Green is fit, but even if he had 1 bad game v Reading he is still better than Carrolline
