I didnt think Southgate was a good choice at the start of the season but he has turned Boro round and made them mid-table and safe for now. They will make Chelsea battle for a 2-0 win. Newcastle v Liverpool should be a cracker and im looking forward to watching this. But game of the day is at Upton Park. West Ham v Watford is massive. West Ham HAVE to win. They lost this fixture in the cup a few weeks back and Curbs will be under bug pressure if they dont win today. 2-0 the Hammers and the gap will close with Wigan losing at Arsenal and Spurs winning at Sheff Utd.

Its pretty hard to counter argue this and not to bash Le Guen's management. I suppose you could say the players didnt step up to the challenge. Svensson was / is beginning to look better. J Rod came ok last season but went 2 steps back this season and Papac only had an impressive debut. But Hemdani looked assured when playing in the back 4. I think we'll see the best of him now But seriously i like Buffel and he has quality but blows hot and cold. He cant play on the wide positions where he has been deployed at times. Its a loss and i was kinda happy he stayed and i still think he is the sort of player who can turn a game for us. He has always been better in europe aswell.
