He has signed on loan until the end of the season. He is still only 28 but just quit playing in Qatar to sign for Man City
-
Is this temp or a new layout??
-
Aye 8/13 is more like it. I just had a brief look earlier at the coupon so didnt notice that. Southampton must be about the same with Stoke not far off it.
-
Sunderland are Evs?? Good price. I like betting on the Championship better than the EPL at times. I think Leeds might cost you that though - I fancy them to get at least a point. They have picked up there last 2 games and MUST start getting pts or they are down.
-
Im tempted to go for: PRESTON v Man City Middleboro v West Brom - Draw Aberdeen v Celtic - Draw
-
Never saw this either!! Welcome back Malky BTW
-
Says its been mis-quoted but has another wee swipe at Celtic The man is away with it but is entertainment in a way. But he is ruining Hearts. They will never get out of 28 million debt, they are no where near big enough. When he came they were a match for us and Celtic and could have won the league but he has ruined them on the pitch also.

Lehmann is a good keeper but he is like James that he makes silly errors and also has the attitutde. His errors can be more costly to the team as he could get sent off at anytime. But he can produce great saves - he was superb in the CL last season
-
Ian, Arsenal 11/1 with Will Hills for Champions League. Its not a bad shout coz they are flying in the cups at the moment. They finally show the first time how to win at Bolton, they GUBBED Liverpool twice at Anfield so they have a chance. These youngsters are simply amazing but Wenger takes credit as he finds them and gels them together and makes his 1st and 2nd team play awesome stuff. Its even good to see Aliadiere to come onto a game. BTW if you fancy outside bets - Rangers 33/1 for UEFA cup
-
So Arsenal finally break there Bolton hoodoo, and apparently in some style, they missed 2 pens also and had a few big players not out. Cup Double for the Goons this year
-
Some of the saves he pulls off are amazing and id have him in goal ahead of Lehmann. If he didnt make so much gaffs he would easy be one of the top 6 in the EPL.
-
IMO that is a remarkable stat and shows just how good Walter did. I remember Charlie Brown had us up to 26th but to be in the top 20 in the world is some stat! I dont think this is a precise stat but its still impressive. As for England - 6th!!! Who worked that out, I dont think so some how!! - Defo not a precise stat. Italy have came from nowhere, they werent even in the top 10 last year.
-
So this tie is finely balanced and its 50/50 as to who we get
-
Saw that this morning, i was going to back them last night but never got a coupon on
-
McCoist had a wee joke in the paper saying he'll take a 1-0 defeat so they dont break the record he was part off
-
Yeah agre with Mike, there are details we dont/wont know and I do think do parties (Klos and McLeish) are to blame. But i dont believe Klos just came back from injury and decided he couldnt be bothered anymore without some sort of motive. He had to feel let down. Fraser, we are talking about the last 2 years since Watterues came.

Great work Frankie, I'll try and get a few things to you in the next day or so like an article plus a player spec. The intro to have a Ex Gers player into the Gersnet hall of fame is a good idea and will make for good voting. I think we should do it in a certain way so we have only a few contenders each month (like from an era) or we could end up having 1 vote for a player etc
-
Agree about Lehmann - he isnt even in the top 5 keepers in the EPL at the moment. Cech, Van Dar Saar, Niemi, Given, Jaaskelinen are all out ahead of him. Schmeichel made up for all Fergusons other signings as he was simly the best keeper Utd have ever had, but Seaman isnt far behind him for being the EPLs best.
-
One of the most unlucky Gers player with injuries. I remember being at the game (St Johnstone i think) when he got injured. He looked like he would be an awesome striker. Wonder how he is doing out there
-
Heard he is suspended for the next OF game on March 11. That means the first time we can boo him will be at Ibrox in the last OF game of the season, meaning he gets 40 odd thousand boo's rather than 7 thousand
-
It is a pity. I still think he should have been playing all this time for 2 reasons. 1) He should be earning his big wage 2) Its common sense to play your best keeper at your club and he was better than Wattereus and is better than McGregor. I dont know much about Robinson but Im not overly confident about having just him and McGregor. We have been spoilt with keepers over the years and quality like Niemi and Charbonnier couldnt get in the team at times. Id take a keeper in there mould right now!
-
I put a thread up about this a few weeks ago when I saw it. Its a nice apartment inside but nothing you'd expect a footballer to have. You'd think he would have had a massive house somewhere in Milan or the outskirts. Dacourts place was awesome though (if it was shown in same one as Gattusos)
-
Ive a feeling for a draw tomorrow and id take that then get them back to Iborx and win.
-
If there is 1 position where Sir Awex has buggered up at Man U its keepers. He has had a few donkeys in goal. Who was the italian who let the ball through his legs against Southampton, begins with a T. Then he signed Carroll. Barthez was a bit crazy. Did Bosnich play there?? Who did he hae before Van Der Saar? But i like the look of Foster, he has impressed me this season
-
Yeah and all at a time where we hae been so poor domestically.
