Are you kidding 2nd of 3rd in the SPL??? Where you think he will fit in the team - LB??
-
Klos against Hibs and if he struggles then McGregor against Celtic, but Im sure Der Goalier wont let us down. 4 big games for him though
-
Fookin Boro!!! I thought at the draw there aet aswell. But the other 2 were bankers I just didnt fancy Arsenal at all to win at Blackburn.
-
St Johnstone into the next round, Motherwell not the only SPL club to suffer a home defeat to them this season
-
So there annoucment was a kit sponsor, 7 figures each year for 2 seasons - not bad for them

TBH no if thats the way if football authorities work it. The final is for fans and i want to see as much fans in as possible rather than fat cats, ex Pro's who can buy tickets at the click of there fingers and media. For Eg, say the final is between Benfica and Rangers, What right has the likes of Franz Beckenbauer got to get a ticket ahead of a season ticket holder who has been to every Gers game in the competition??

Weir will be a contender if he keeps it up, but cant say i agree on McGregor. He has flapped and made mistakes as much as he has saved, except he has got away with flaps.

The votes for player of the season for leagues goes in around now (crazy IMO as there is months left) but looking towards our team, who would be in contention for Gers POTY 06/07? Barry Ferguson has been superb of late but still had the odd off day this season. He started poorly and had a wee blip over xmas, but the last few weeks has been MOTM on every occassion. Young Steven Smith may be in with a shout, he was consistent in the first 5 months and shows he has a potential future. Kris Boyd - Has a mass of critics (including myself) due to being the worst footballer at the club (Bar Gavin Rae ) but he knows how to score and once again has bagged in a hat load this season. He has a lot of fans also, but if it was up to me he wouldnt be a contender. Brehaim Hemdani - Has strolled through every match this season and barely put a foot wrong and played in a few postions. Gets my vote to this point Any others??

We are almost 2 months into the new management team and Im interested from far away to hear if the new regime has impressed or at least steadyed the ship? Personally what ive so far is the defence tightened up (which was badly needed) but thats about it. Due to the defence being stringer we are naturally a more difficult team to beat. Obviously the make over will take well into next season to show signs but it doesnt mean to say we cant improve on what we have. After all on paper we have arguably the best squad in the country, but our players dont turn up on match days. One thing that hasnt help is being knocked out the domestic cups as it means we have had a lot of free weekends recently and we cant get into a regular swing. For instance Falkirk was dire but the Hapoel result was great. But it also seems the honeymoon period died after the first game??

Ps I agree we do need strikers but it has to be of a higher calibre than this.

Something that concerns me here (if the McDonald deal is all but done) is the agreement between Walter and Murray when they reached a deal for Smith to return as manager. Now if Scott McDonald and other average SPL players are targets it means either: 1) Walters ambitions (targets) are not high 2) Murray said his budget is 12 peanuts 3) Walter thinks he can mould a squad together with no big names McDonald had his day in a Rangers shirt on helicopter sunday. He is no where near good enough than what we need nor what we already have. Surely we have to aim higher than this.

Absolutely disgusting and 1 of the main things that need changed by FA's all over the world. I like the comment "Just over 50% of seats are available for fans" - that does my head in. It should be near 90%. I would consider buying but not in a ballot. Major finals with nonsense like this should only be played in 70,000+ stadia.
-
That is depressing to think Scott McDonald is a target ahead of Rasiak. The latter impressed me when he was at Derby, but he never really got a chance at Spurs but has shown again he can do it with Southampton.

He has been banging them in and that league is tricky. He'd be a cracking signing but i think they would want a fair bit of cash as they are looking like getting a play off place at least
-
Funniest is when she asks if he had toast - No

West Brom v Middlesboro - home win 12/5 Crewe v Scunthorpe - Away win 5/4 Blackburn v Arsenal - home win 12/5 tener pays 260 I think West Brom will beat Boro Scunthorpe are flying in League 1 and going for auto promotion but Crewe are my bogey team for betting Blackburn are in good home form just now and Arsenal may have a carling cup final hangover - although i hope not

Osasuna entering the relegation fight might mean them resting players
Gribz replied to buster's topic in Rangers Chat
I like you optimism Buster, but the 2 competitions cant be compared. We have been not bad in Europe ourselves in the last 18 months but our league from has been dire. Osusuna have Barca, RM, Valencia in there league while we have St Mirren and Dunfermline. But hopefully your right and they have more off-days and its againast us. -
He scored a cracking goal 2 weeks again when he skinned 2 players, played a quick 1-2 then scored, it was a carbon copy of a Gazza goal.

What an absolute joker the guy is no wonder he is hiding his face with the sign. BTW why are they calling rugby and football a foreign game and why was there an attempted protest - so they only want Ireland playing that gaelic game???
-
Id prefer a straight ban than an apology. Id let him believe his comments and let him stay in his narrow minded little world. But as others say, I dont hold my breath that the club will come out and do anything although surely it must annoy even David Murray at times. Well done the trust !!

Ha ha what a fud Bridge is. Agree with Craig, Arsenal B team came out and IMO deserved at least a point Oops sorry thet deserved extra time!! Im looking forward to seeing Lampard and Co's faces when Man U win the title and hopefully that will be at Stamford Bridge in April
-
Arsenal were in control at times but i think its down to inexperience that they switched off at times. I thought Diaby was superb and i can see why Wenger got rid of Vieira now - the guy could be a carbon copy. The handbags at the end was great although a few others could have been sent off. I thought the better team lost on the day.
-
Arsenal started superbly, and this so called B team are amazing with some of the moves, they should have been 2 up then chelsea score against the run of play - and there was a hint of offside. More of the same Arsenal!!

Come on Arsenal!!
