Good luck to him at his next club but if he is thinking of England then he better look up Stockport, Bury and Chesterfield on the map as thats his level IMO. He had a couple of half decent seasons for Dundee but thats it. Its a shame about his injuries but he has never been good enough for Rangers. When he leaves he will be on par with the likes of Gary Bollan as Ex Gers players - remembered for being gash.

Just what i was going to say. But the Leeds team are shite and he cant be getting any service. He kinda reminds me in Kenny Miller, does nothing at club level but is better in international games. He could be a decent signing for us as a back up striker if Novo and others are leaving. A better buy than McDonald IMO.

Malky, that accumulator that Holland cost you must have been a bastard!!! Im going to stop betting on Holland, they cost me quite a lot. They would have cost me at the weekend aswell if i had a flutter but not for 1108 quid Last night I did the right thing and avoided the international coupon again. Id of been raging coz id of back NI to do the hard work and beat Sweden but id of had Germany on at home to Denmark and they lost 1-0. Barry, just go down to the local bookies and take a coupon off the shelf mate. Not wise to setup Online account, its to easy to throw money away.

Fuck me Gav, 2 out of 5. I would have went for Rep to win, Azer to get a draw (altho they won), and Ukraine. I fanicied Liechtenstein as they were 7/1 - i couldnt believe that price and they won 1-0. Id of had Portugal on aswell tho.

We cant complain about losing to the world champions, a lot of sides would have went there and got heavier defeats. I hope Teale isnt going to feature too much as he is a bit of a weak link. But we do have Fletcher, McFadden and Quashie all to come back into that midfield but they all wont be guarenteed a start after Brown and McCullochs performances and ability. But we have a strong midfield and thats a good sign. We are still in the thick of it. We have Faroes away then Lithuania at home next and we should be taking 6 points from that 2 games. If we do then its all to play for. Remaining games: Faroes (away) Lithuania (Home) France (away) Ukraine (home) Georgia (away) Italy (home)

Great stuff to see them top of there group and there next 2 games are against Latvia and Iceland both away, if they get 4 points from that they will be in a great position. It was a tough ask with Spain, Denmark and Sweden in the group but they are on course to beat all 3 at home. It would be great to see them at the Euro's next year representing the UK instead of England, but of course Scotland will be there also.

4-1-4-1 it is then with Dailly coming in. Not too sure about Dailly as he hasnt really played well or much for West Ham this season. But Im happy with the rest of team.

Good news for us, i really didnt want him at Ibrox. A decent player for Motherwell but thats it. He done his job for us on helicopter sunday. I actually wonder what the tim reaction is to this.

Good article Frankie and spot on. Johnny also makes some vaild points like the media are trying to raise there profiles rather than do anything else. They are embarrasing. They should be defending there clubs after all we provide work for them. Do they really think that if we get kicked out of Europe (which they would love to see) that: 1) Its doing them any good and 2) Hearts, Hibs or Aberdeen will represent Scotland in the UEFA cup or Champions league - those teams will be lucky to get past the 1st knock out stages and Scotlands rankings suffer as a result. They are there own worst enemy at times but its down to a poor mentality that they just want to slaughter us all the time. I never thought about comparing the recent Man Utd trip to Lille, which Frankie pointed out. The media have manipulated this story to believe it was Gers fans at fault but you compare it with the Man U fans and they were treated poorly. The most frustrating aspect is the club not saying a word. Not only is it frustrating but its strange. They obviously are not blind to the situation so are they either not concerned about the slaughter from the media and the dangers of punishment or do they know more than us and have direct contact with UEFA????

This could actually be a good chance for a Gersnet meet up with posters from further away places making the trip. Wija and Calscot both look like there coming up from the Milton Keynes area. I wonder if Jon would be up for it and leave Moray for the first time

Internationals are a bugger, there are only ever abut 4 or 5 games with decent odds. Holland would have cost me at the weekend and they were something stupid like 1/4 I had a quick look and like Super Ally I fancy a bit of Northern Ireland and Portugal. NI are up for every home game right now and have beat Spain and England. But cant remember if they went and lost a stupid home game after that (Iceland maybe?). Sweden are a decent side NI will get something from the game.

Stand free wherever you may be Roman's bought the referee's Lampards fat, fatter than me You've only been fans since 2003

Superb, its worth a trip across for that. Ibrox or Stamford Bridge??
-
Really?? I forgot he exsisted. Ian, I was hoping you didnt add the same last sentance as said in the Gio post
-
I didnt think he was 32, i thought maybe 29 or 30 at most. Id love him to return aswell but couldnt see it but C'mon Walter, make an offer. Imagine Gio and Rino in the midfield next season with Ferguson and Hemdani!!!!
-
Yeah, from a Rangers point of view Hemdani has been the most consistant. Ferguson and Hutton have stood out when they have been MOTM recently but they both had poor starts.

Reading earlier about Lampard and Gerrard not being able to play in the same team again. This is utter nonsense, all thats needed is common sense. Play them in there positions with the right formation and they would get it right. I bet Sir Alex, Wenger and Mourinho would be able to do it no problem. But Lampard isnt performing at all for England anyway. And now Rooney is supposed to have had a row woth McClaren. IMO Rooney shouldnt play as an out and out striker. He plays off the front man at Man U and should be doing the same for England and given a licence to do what he wants.

I dont agree with going 4-4-2 and just having a go. If it was a one off game then yes. We need to look at the bigger picture in the group as its a marathon and not a sprint. A point in Italy gives us a cusion over them and we just got to worry about Ukraine and France after that. I would go 4-5-1 but be attack minded. Id get 3 in the centre midfield running and going for every ball and hope to nick something on the break. This is why id maybe opt for Burke on the wing to try and break away.

Look at him referring to Scotland as "they" and not "us"- what an absolute joker.

Naysmith is a player ive said id have at Ibrox for years. Stevie Smith could be the long term solution but Naysmith may help him on his way. I dont think Murray is good enough, he hasnt shown enough in the last few games. I dont think he is the same player since his illness and he looks a but weak.
-
They certainly play players out of position, they have done that for too long and its why they dont play good football or win so much games. I dont think the point about players playing at top european clubs holds much weight as the EPL teams are top euro clubs as it is. Man U Liverpool and Chelsea are all up there with Barca, Real, AC, Inter, Juve, Bayern etc

Kinda get it now if Georgia beat Uruguay
-
Smart ass What i actually meant was we stated singing "Rangers are the champions" before anyone else in the UK used the song for any other songs like "Stand up if you hate Chelsea" etc
-
I did Juff, but it said atfter beating Georgia we are UWC again. I also heard this comment on a phone in on saturday.
