Its now almost mid-June and there hasnt been much to report about except rumours which havent surfaced. But another thing that Ive been thinking about is the "Outs" leaving Ibrox. Only Gavin Rae has been confirmed as gone. Prso and Klos were going anyway but that leaves a number of players with doubts. Maybe someone can shed some light on the situations with Buffel, Sionko, Sebo, Novo, Burke, Svensson, Papac. Thats a fair number of players to have doubts over. Only Gow, Broadfoot and Darcheville have came in. Even Webster hasnt signed yet (as far as I know). So the club have to get there finger out as Pre-season starts in a few weeks and its best to gather a full squad rather then people come in at the last minute. Is SDM waiting on all the season ticket revenue to clear the bank before allowing Walter some funds? So who does everyone realistically want to come in?? Personally I'd be disappointed if only Beasley and Naismith follow into Ibrox, IMO we wouldnt be any better off than last season. We need 2 semi-big names to replace Prso alone and even Big Dado was only half fit last season but still the name we all wanted to see first on the team sheet. Lets hope the Koevermans rumour isnt dead and buried. He is the main target IMO. After that then we need a wide player. McCulloch is still linked and id take him but I wonder if James McFadden would be a better target or asking Man U for Kieran Richardson on loan. I think we are ok in defence but a keeper is still badly needed IMO.

Interesting Pete, we certainly dont want another Capucho or Sionko on the wing. We need someone who is going to play week in week out. Talking of Sionko has he moved onto France yet or still with us? I think the Naismith situation will come to a head this week. I honestly get the feeling if he signs it will be a bit like when we signed Kenny Miller. But if he comes in for a decent price (750k) then id be ok about him being a back up striker.

That would be a great addition for the national team. He has unreal pace and can play right, middle and left. Hopefully he follows Quashies footsteps.

Is Beasley that bad Pete? Ive never seen him play, cant say I even recall him being at Man City last season. Apparently we are also in for one of his PSV team mates but cant remember who it is. I'll try and find it again.

Thats nuts. It would be worth buying a Season ticket for Barca just for the Madrid game alone. Im sure you could get cheap flights across and the trip including hotel etc would be the cost of a wee holiday and you could stay for a week anyway. Then you would always get the option of CL tickets.
-
Madrid for me also, I tipped them at the start of the season. So far ive got the EPL and Serie A right so La Liga will be a hattrick, pity I only had Man U on at the bookies. Madrid go in on top for the last game on head to head basis even tho Barca have a better goal difference by a mile.

It would have been interesting to see what had happened if the offer was nearer 2 million or so.

Goes down to the wire next week after all 3 contenders drew this weekend. Barca were 2-1 up at home to Espanyol until the last minute. It finished 2-2. R Madrid were 2-1 until the last minute in there game and Van Nostelrooy scored to make it 2-2. Seville drew 0-0. It could have went any way.

I thought Bury were a banker for him

Great complement for Hutton and I hope its true and he tells them thanks but no thanks. He has came on leaps and bounds. If he plays to the same standard from now on then we have a new Davie Robertson except on the right.

Cracking team! Bring on the England!!!!!!!!! Id be confident as fook playing them with that team

What is that muck?? Nowhere near close. In fact I think your village is closer to civilsation than your answer. What part of 7 didnt you see either? TOP FLIGHT means EPL and old Div 1 going back to your times

I see what your saying in the post Craig but my point is why we have to be linked or even sign so many of the other SPL players. One or 2 is ok but a successful team needs experience and proven class. Only ever Man U have done it with youngsters but even then they had 4 or 5 world class players to play along. Thats why I said possibly But he is coming from a decent european league with a not bad track record depite him not being an out and out scorer. He looked a pretty good player on the video we saw - ok thats not a good way to judge - but again thats why I said possibly. Ive never said anything other than Sebo deserves a "chance" with a run of games. Everytime he plays he gets about 6 mins and yet still looks impressive. The guy has been unlucky infront of goal but I still get that feeling he has something to offer long term. Im "for" giving the younger players a chance but just not half a team full. I think the likes of Lennon should have been given more first team games towards the end of last season. He is one of our own rather than taking other clubs youth. Yeah I agree with this and in Gow's case I think he could be a very handy squad player for us who will get plenty time in the SPL. He still isnt the creative "gem" we are looking for but he may prove us wrong - and hopefully so as I like him as a player. His fee was also much more reasonable than anyone else even though he was coming to the end of his contract.

Discriminatory Singing Sanctions ââ?¬â?? Still no Clarity
Gribz replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
Anyway, The FOS and GSTQ are the most depressing national anthems to listen to. Scotland the Brave should be brought back for Scotland and the UK should have RB or one of the other many UK songs.- 44 replies

Discriminatory Singing Sanctions ââ?¬â?? Still no Clarity
Gribz replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
And then there is the irony that many many of the the support dont even live in slums and arent even Weegies. How many travel up from England and over from N Ireland never mind the rest of Scotland. And then some parts of Glasgow are nicer than any part of Dundee etc- 44 replies
