  1. Waterreus after Malcolm would be next name in the investigation matters.
  2. Havent done one of these threads for a while. But seen as we have a lot of new posters the response may be interesting. There is no right or wrong. Although If Bob Malcolm makes it into someones team there will be an investigation. Goram Hendry Gough Moore McCall Laudrup Gio Gascoigne Albertz De Boer Mols
  3. Huge game and a big test. A very mental challenge today and a chance to go top says something.
  4. A good win for Cardiff Scott. Fair play to Colin, he took them from bottom of the championship to the Premier. Here you go (I'll have a go at Cardiff v Wolves anyway even though its over ;-)) Friday Cardiff 2-1 Wolves (id have went 1-1) Crystal Palace 1-0 Burnley Huddersfield 0-0 Brighton Leicester 2-0 Watford Man City 4-0 Bournemouth Newcastle 1-1 West Ham Southampton 0-1 Man Utd Sunday Chelsea 2-0 Fulham Arsenal 1-0 Tottenham Liverpool 2-0 Everton
  5. Just saw this result which has blown the group wide open and Id say we are capable of getting a result there. Whatever happens now we have held our own in easily the most competitive group in the competition.
  6. Just woke up for the second half. Havent read the thread. What was Candeias sent off for?
  7. Agreed RE Neymar, how can he not feel embarrassed. Is it a culture thing that its accepted to roll around for no reason. Plus I would say he is over rated, he isnt near the Messi and Ronaldo bracket.
  8. And replaced by Ashley Cole??? Rangers manager Steven Gerrard has been urged to make a move for former Chelsea and Arsenal defender Ashley Cole. Cole won two Premier League titles and three FA Cups at Arsenal before making a controversial move to London rivals Chelsea. The left back enjoyed further success at Stamford Bridge, winning the league title and and Champions League with the Blues. Cole joined MLS outfit LA Galaxy in 2016 but was released this week and is said to been keen to continue playing if the opportunity presents itself. And Arsenal legend Ray Parlour believes Liverpool hero Gerrard should look to bring the 37-year-old to Rangers. ‘I’m sure there’ll be lots of clubs interested. Stevie G is a great shout at Rangers,’ Parlour told Sky Sports. ‘I don’t know who their left back is at the moment but he would be great for the dressing room area. He’s had a fantastic career and I think that he can do a job definitely for another season. ‘I’m not too sure about the Premier League, I’m not sure someone would take a chance on him in the Premier League, certainly the Championship.’ Rangers have won eight of their 13 league games under Gerrard this season to climb to second in the Scottish Premiership, two points below champions Celtic. Gerrard’s side face Villareal in the Europa League on Thursday before taking on Hearts over the weekend. https://metro.co.uk/2018/11/28/rangers-manager-steven-gerrard-urged-to-sign-former-chelsea-and-arsenal-defender-ashley-cole-8188732/?ito=cbshare
  9. Man Utd certainly not playing well and left it late again, Young Boys like Palace at the weekend could have won it. PSG v Liverpool was a cracking game and its nice to see Liverpool possibly facing going out. What odds on Liverpool going into the Europa and Stevie G facing his old club??!! Cant see Spurs winning at Nou Camp and Inter should comfortably beat PSV at the San Siro. So the knock out Europa could have Arsenal, Chelsea, Spurs and Liverpool. I think Napoli will get the right result at Anfield with PSG getting something in Belgrade.
  10. Arsenal going well, 17 games unbeaten. Big tests coming up with Spurs and Man Utd next up. Didnt see that win for Huddersfield coming. Out of the blue they jump up the table.
  11. Spurs were superb, came out of the traps and went right at Chelsea and David Luiz looked like his old self. Chelsea didnt turn up although they should have had a pen when Hazard was fouled at 1-0 but it was the right scoreline in the end. Son was brilliant, he could be the most underrated player in the league. Bar his finishing he could have had a hattrick. Thats some stat about Man Utd a negative goal difference. They are 14 behind City with a third of the season gone. Im guessing its only the Champions League thats keeping Jose there. They are so dysfunctional and lack harmony. I watched the last 20 mins of their game and they didnt look like scoring despite having chances, it was Palace who could have nicked it.
  12. Yup, the points and form tally is beginning to reflect now. The title race is on! Its all about keeping it consistent now.
  13. He might need something quite strong tonight to sooth that result. Eibar 3-0 RM.
  14. Man Utd must be a coupon buster for a lot. 5 out of 6 in the 3pm Kick offs isnt bad. Pity I didnt back my predictions I went for a draw double Brighton v Leicester and Watford v Liverpool.
  15. Sunderland are in that batch of teams where you dont care if they are in the top flight or not, they are a bit of a yo-yo side from the premier league era and I couldnt put them in the same bracket as Leeds and Villa. Id rather have Charlton and Coventry from that division back, they were consistent top flight sides for a good period. Ive gone a bit against my predictions with my bets today, Ive a few differing lines on.
  16. Anti-inflammatorys. Yet the liverpool fans will be starting another petition to say they should be 6 times winners. They got over 100000 signatures for the last CL to be played again after Ramos nailed Salah. Ramos is the player you love to hate but would love to have him in your side.
  17. Just had a look at the table again and its still frustrating the way we dropped points at Aberdeen and Motherwell early in the season, just one of them turned into a win would be so much better. But to put it aside we have to be beating teams like Livingston home and away. We redeemed the Motherwell result nicely last time out by hitting them for 7 so lets do the same again today.
  18. Agreed, almost Sir Alex esk as he was one who I would also listen as soon as he came on camera. Young Middleton there also looks a very humble level headed young man which is refreshing to see.
  19. I think its because there is unattractive teams by name only in the league and it makes the fixtures look not so appealing. If Forest, Leeds, Villa, Sheff Wed were in the league it looks better on paper but these teams have to earn to be there. I think there is a few good games. Watford v Liverpool isnt bad and a test for Liverpool. Man Utd v Palace, its a test for Utd also at home to perform, palace have nothing to lose. West Ham v City has something to offer but City could romp it. Here's my predictions anyway. Brighton 1-1 Leicester Everton 2-0 Cardiff Fulham 2-1 Southampton Man Utd 2-0 Palace Watford 2-3 Liverpool West Ham 0-4 Man City Tottenham 2-2 Chelsea Sunday Bournemouth 1-2 Arsenal Wolves 2-0 Huddersfield Monday Burnley 1-0 Newcastle
  20. The double save followed up by the defenders overhead kick clearance is class.
  21. Mizuno boots for me in the 90s, think they were about 40 quid. But I also borrowed a mates Patrick boots which Laudrup wore and they were comfortable. I used to prefer playing in trainers though, always felt I could control the ball better and run faster.
  22. Arsenal and Chelsea..oooft. Man Utd though, they just arent at the races. On paper they have an awesome team. Arsenal must be laughing about Sanchez, he was always going to get burnt out with playing consistant summers. And City must be laughing also, they were going to sign him! Yet Aguero is about 4 years older and blowing him out the water.
  23. Hoofing result. As Dado says the international break comes at the wrong time. But its certainly game on at the moment in terms of a title race.
  24. Chance to redeem from the 2 points dropped earlier in the season which is still a sticky one for me, that and Aberdeen could have been an additional 4 points. Another international break...I'll need to go out on the lash to kill the time.
  25. I did not bad last week and got a nice scoop. Here we go: Cardiff 0-0 Brighton Huddersfield 1-1 West Ham Leicester 0-1 Burnley Newcastle 1-0 Bournemouth Southampton 1-1 Watford Palace 1-3 Tottenham Liverpool 5-0 Fulham Chelsea 2-1 Everton Arsenal 3-0 Wolves Man City 3-0 Man Utd
