Yeah I know, we would be relying on Hutton and Papac. Its a tricky one coz do you take out Thomson to accomodate a left winger and Buffel out and play a right winger? If thats the case we would need 2 really good wingers or we have the same situation as last season.

The "page not displayed" page has to be up there with mouth ulcers and standing on dogs shite as a pain in the ass. Is is just me?? Ive posted a few times and clicked sumbit only to get the infamous page then then click refresh and the messages "sorry the forum is not accepting new posts" or "contact an administrator" comes up.

Agreed totally. I also have suggested he would be our poty for the last 2 seasons and il stick by this if the above happens. Our centre 3 midfielders should be Hemdani (to sit infront of the back 4), Ferguson (to get up and down as playmaker) and Buffel (as the creative spark which links midfield to attack). You could throw Thomson in there aswell as the tackler in a 4-3-1-2 but then we have no width in the team and will be relying on Hutton getting forward like last season. But considering we dont know who we will be signing, this team doesnt look too bad: ______________Mcgregor_____________ Hutton______Weir____Ehiogu____Papac ____Ferguson___Hemdani___Thomson__ ________________Buffel_____________ __________Darcheville___Boyd________

Romanov is messed up in the head, if we boycotted Tynecastle once he would probably say we are banned for 5 years - clown! But I agree with the Tynecastle boycott for sure. Of course a lot of fans can afford 33 quid but thats not the point as a lot cant, and there is no way they cant justify the increase of price. I dont agree with a full season of boycotts but if any club increase there prices simply because the old firm are in town then both RFC and CFC should refuse tickets striaght away as we do line there pockets. The OF should work together on this one. Both clubs share the same interest in wanting an Atlantic league as have outgrown the SPL so there is NO WAY we should be held to ransom for trips to Dunfermline and Hearts.

Id say we shot ourselves in the foot getting rid of him, same goes for Arveladze. 2 quality centre forwards who were made to play left wing. Wasnt Lovenkrands offered a reduced deal though?? But he should still be a Rangers player. He has quality - something we lack. He actually may have been worth an improved deal as he was our bright spark in european games - which the club gets a big pay day from. We just couldnt afford to give him that rise.

Naismith ( Not Intrested If I'm Sitting On The Bench )
Gribz replied to fraser54's topic in Rangers Chat
I think he is trying to keep the Killie fans on his side TBH just incase he doesnt move. -
50 free tickets at 25 quid a punt is generous. I guess Im not making it though seen as its tomorrow Sounds like it could be a good day out though, and i may have a punt on a horse if i can.

I considered all that 3 aswell. The 2-0 was when Celtic hit the bar then Albertz broke away and crossed for Gazza to score. I was going to say the 4-2 when Albertz smashed Lamberts teeth as that was my first OF game at Ibrox. And the 3-1 game almost the hole squad had flu.

3 categories: 1 from Ibrox, 1 from Hampden and 1 from Parkhead Tough tough tough choices Ibrox - The 3-1 NY game in 1997 when Bo Anderson came off the bench was a cracker, it pips the classic 3-3 in 1995. Id imagine the older posters will go for the 5-1 in 1988. Hampden - 3-1 to Gers in Octo 1994 with Hateley double and Laudrup solo - hands down this one for me - it was my first OF game so beats the 2 cup finals games. Parkhead - Has to be the 1-0 win in Nov 1996 with Laudrups goal. Same game as the famous Van Vossen miss, where Gazza missed a pen then Goram saved a Pierre Ploydonk pen in the last minute. That just pips the 3-0 win in 99 to clinch the league. That was the GFITW shame day when the tim fell from the 2nd tier and Dallas got about 3 quid in change for his bankie.

Good news IMO, I think we could still see the best of him yet

Hearts increase prices for fans of Hibs and the Old Firm
Gribz replied to pete's topic in Rangers Chat
Depends on the most expensive seat, you cant charge away fans a more expensive price than you charge home fans at any part of the ground. Dunfermline made our away support pay the same as there main stand last season. We should charge Hearts 200 quid for Ibrox and say this in line with what the executive boxes are paying to watch the same game  But someone has to take a stand somewhere, these clubs will raise the prices as they know Rangers and Celtic will still turn up. Its going to keep increasing every year. IMO the club should say no thanks to tickets for one game - that way the other team will get the message and we will hurt there wallets yet we are only missing ONE game against a poor team, there will be many more, plus we could get the game on the screens at Ibrox for a fiver. -
13-12 on pens - that must have been great to watch.

for the cynical among us - no quality signings this summer?
Gribz replied to bmck's topic in Rangers Chat
Yeah that would seem about right but it could be more to the point that thats who Walter has identified as "realistic" signings. Im sure when WS and AM came back in Jan they would have said that "x" amount has to be available in the summer but they will use that shrewedly. Anyone else who comes in will be bosmans or under 750k IMO. -
Hearts increase prices for fans of Hibs and the Old Firm
Gribz replied to pete's topic in Rangers Chat
I thought that mate, it was like that when I had my ST, and i remember giving my bank details. But for eg: can someone only tick Celtic, Dundee Utd and Hibs but still get allocated a Hearts ticket and then could the club automatically take the cash out the account even though that person didnt tick Hearts? IIRC when i filled mine out years ago you only ticked 3 away games. -

Gribz replied to bmck's topic in Rangers Chat
I think we'll sign a few more players but I dont expect any world beaters. It will be the likes of Cuellar and McCulloch IMO. But they both will improve the squad. -
McFadden would be a good signing for us. He would do a similar job to Neil McCann IMO. But the latest reject we are being linked with today is Lee Hendrie.
-
I think it was more of a statement meaning it came from inside rather out a conversation in the dressing room. As for Bubas joke about Sproule - thats not on. He is on his way to Bristol City.
-
Who says I was on about you?? I was maybe talking about Pete Lovenkrands going along to watch the games :fish:

Hearts increase prices for fans of Hibs and the Old Firm
Gribz replied to pete's topic in Rangers Chat
A definate boycott IMO. They have the cheat to raise prices to fund the building of THEIR new stand!!! Absolute sack that - can the trust take this up with RFC? The reason they have put hibs in there is probably because they play them 1st game of the season and they know the Hibs fans will be up for seeing the game. But everytime ive watched a Edinburgh derby there has been empty seats in the away end. How does it work with away tickets again anyway? Do you put bank details in with your submittion? That way if your allocated Hearts the money will be taken off your account even though you dont want to go!! Seems a strange set up. -
Thats decent news that Papac is staying, he did a fine job in both positions. Id punt Ian Murray at the first chance, he looked very weak last season.
-
Yeah I was making a point. IMO we need a better keeper than McGregor, Im not expecting Buffon or Cech but there surely has to be better out there. Is Cammy and me the only people who think this - that the standard of player has to be a lot better? McGregor is a decent keeper but Id like (expect) better for Rangers.
-
Its ridiculous to have to wait even longer, both teams have to prepare for the division they will be in. The longer it goes on the more I think West Ham will stay up as nobody can find a reason to put them down but its a pain in the ass.
-
I disagree, it think those 3 are perfect for Wigan and an improvement on what they have. Sibierski was a decent midfielder for Man city, he just didnt play that well upfront for Newcastle. Bramble is the only bombscare there but he may be better suited at a smaller club.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/w/wigan_athletic/6767111.stm I read this week Paul jewell quit with frustration as he couldnt attract players to Wigan. Now this new boy comes in and signs Melchoit, Bramble, Siberski and another. They are also linked with Hyppia. Not bad signings for Wigan, bet Jewell is a bit sick
