It gets better: Naylor Shittu Balde Fanni :moon:

Who are you on about Pete? Thats Darcheville in the picture - he looks a bear!! Beasley looks lightweight - you must be on about him.

So following our 3 early signings (Darcheville, Broadfoot, Gow) we had a long spell of silence and silly rumours. Now in the space of a day or 2 we have 2 left (YES THATS LEFT) sided players arriving at Ibrox in Beasley and McCulloch - 2 good additions IMO. Beasley has pace and McCulloch is a solid midfielder who can score goals. Not only that Alan Gow can play left and of course Charlie Adam got double figures from that position last season. Behind them we have Steven Smith, Sasa Papac and Ian Murray for LB - so finally at last our left side, but more importantly our left midfield is sorted. - Now for the right hand side. Svensson has moved on which paves way for the possible signing of Cuellar and of course Andy Webster will be staying on either on. But after a lot of patience things are finally happening behind the scenes. What is notible is the amount of Scottish lads we can field: ______________McGregor_______________ Hutton_____Weir______Webster_____Smith Burke____Ferguson___Thomson____McCulloch ______________Gow____________________ __________________Boyd_______________ G Smith Murray Lowing Broadfoot Adam Lennon

Graeme Smith confirmed and Beasely arrives in Glasgow...

Even I wouldnt say that. Letizi wasnt even a keeper, he made Waterreus look like Petr Cech. -
He looks a strong bugger!!! He should be able to rattle opposition defences
-
Welcome Beasley. Smith seems to think he has lighting pace - exactly what we need on the wing!

Shame Svensson never worked out as we could be done with a younger centre half, but hopefully this makes the way for Cuellar.

Dirty bassa's:uzi: We cant boycott the match coz the team needs the fans at full voice for this one. What they moving it to the Parc de princes because of rugby for!! Football comes before Rugby!! I sincerely hope we get something off them. A 0-0 would be awesome even if it was just to frustrate them.

Nah I log in before I even read a post. Im using IE. Its a strange one, maybe something to do with my laptop rather than the forum. Dont worry about it though, if its just me il crack on with it. Im planning on getting new laptop soon anyway so it could sort itself out.

Well I hope McGregor proves me wrong but I thought a keeper was a priority. It will be interesting to see everyones views on this but McGregor has a lot to do to convince me anyway. Im not saying he is a bad keeper, but he is average to good. Its the first time since i can remember supporting Rangers that Im not 100% confident with a keeper thats on our books. Chris Woods, Andy Goram, Theo Snelders, Lionel Charbonnier, Stefan Klos were all class keepers that we could rely on. The likes of Ally Maxwell, Jasper Christensen, Andy Dibble (for that 1 game), Thomas Mhyre (for his few games), Bonni Ginzberg were all decent back up and I fit McGregor and Smith into there category rather than the batch above. -
Aye just got this 3 times in last 5 mins!!!

Read last night on Sky sports that Calderwood said no bids for Ander-dweeb.
-
Unless he got caught bonking Eggburtsson's wife then that has to be utter tosh

I wrote the original article

Its true what you 2 said last night, that if it was an Austrian guy for 2 million not a word would be said but its coz he is Scottish. But he is a proven Scotland international and IIRC Scotland are in the top 20 in the world rankings and can beat Austria. 1.8 million would be a perfect fee but if we have to pay a bit more its not a waste

When I read the first paragraph in that link I thought Leighton Baines was joining Celtic (rival clubs)
-
Au Revoir Svensson
-
I said earlier id be hapy with that and I would BUT a keeper with a good pedigree would be welcomed even more and id say no to Naismith if we could get one.
-
I totally see what your saying and I think he would be the "safest" of all the signings. Your right about Beasley he will be a hit or a miss. Faubert excites me a bit though as he is strong and fast and if we got him i think he'd be the best of the bunch. I cant comment on Cuellar as i havent seem him play. But Im not bothered about Naismith at all, he can stay at Killie for all i care.
-
Agree with the other posters on another thread, at 28 he would be a good asset for 4-5 years. He can play left mid or upfront and Smith knows him well. Ive rated him whevever he has played for Scotland so Im happy we will be getting him. To score goals for a small team like Wigan in the Premiership along with some assists means he is doing something right.
-
Yeah latest bid knocked back: Just as long as the last paragraph doesnt mean they are first choice unless its a league cup match.
-
I think that will be a problem. They may need a settling in period but you would have a few of the new guys being Scots who will know what playing for Rangers is all about. The good thing is we had Klos, Rae and Prso leaving all whom played bit parts last season with only Prso being a regular if fit, and now we have 8 players in.

This is what I got. When I re-click the forum the post isnt shown however is still posted in the thread

Id be happy with that as it gives is a lot more depth, but if Fauberts name is not there then the list doesnt look near as tasty. Cuellar - I cant remember his performances but ive only read good things about him. Beasley - Good piece of business, time will tell how good he is. McCulloch - good asset - see above. Naismith - Seems to be top target but isnt any better than a Riordan / Miller IMO. Maybe il be wrong as I havent seen a lot of him. Id prefer him to Boyd though.
