  1. Never let Jon and Gav be in your pub quiz team :fish:
  2. Not according to this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Football_League Your list also says birmingham won it the year before but my list says portsmouth and liverpool won it those years
  3. Soon enough to beat you from googleing it ya cheating bassa
  4. I like the way you edited out Man City after you read the answer
  5. West Ham are the surprise team
  6. Unlike Alan, il give the answers West Ham Wigan Birmingham Reading Middlesboro Fulham Bolton
  7. You have 1 or 2 but there are a few surprises
  8. A mushroom could have told us that answer tho
  9. What is that muck?? Nowhere near close. In fact I think your village is closer to civilsation than your answer. What part of 7 didnt you see either? TOP FLIGHT means EPL and old Div 1 going back to your times
  10. I see what your saying in the post Craig but my point is why we have to be linked or even sign so many of the other SPL players. One or 2 is ok but a successful team needs experience and proven class. Only ever Man U have done it with youngsters but even then they had 4 or 5 world class players to play along. Thats why I said possibly But he is coming from a decent european league with a not bad track record depite him not being an out and out scorer. He looked a pretty good player on the video we saw - ok thats not a good way to judge - but again thats why I said possibly. Ive never said anything other than Sebo deserves a "chance" with a run of games. Everytime he plays he gets about 6 mins and yet still looks impressive. The guy has been unlucky infront of goal but I still get that feeling he has something to offer long term. Im "for" giving the younger players a chance but just not half a team full. I think the likes of Lennon should have been given more first team games towards the end of last season. He is one of our own rather than taking other clubs youth. Yeah I agree with this and in Gow's case I think he could be a very handy squad player for us who will get plenty time in the SPL. He still isnt the creative "gem" we are looking for but he may prove us wrong - and hopefully so as I like him as a player. His fee was also much more reasonable than anyone else even though he was coming to the end of his contract.
  11. Anyway, The FOS and GSTQ are the most depressing national anthems to listen to. Scotland the Brave should be brought back for Scotland and the UK should have RB or one of the other many UK songs.
  12. And then there is the irony that many many of the the support dont even live in slums and arent even Weegies. How many travel up from England and over from N Ireland never mind the rest of Scotland. And then some parts of Glasgow are nicer than any part of Dundee etc

Thats the accountant talking in you Craig But i disagree on Brown. I cant see any English or European club coming in and handing Celtic a fee that makes them a profit. One of the reasons is coz they hold Scottish clubs to ransom for a start in the same way the OF try to be prudent with the other SPL clubs. If they thought he was that good in the first place AND a potential investment they would have snapped him up ahead of Celtic.
  14. Name the 7 current EPL clubs who have never won the top flight league?
  15. That should be good work Gribz!!! If I read the question at the start id have added Birmingham and the Bristol one was the obvious other if counted north of london. Shouldnt you have just put "out of London"
  16. In an attacking sense yes but away to France McCulloch would give us more steel and McFadden could sneak something on the break. So its a tough one.
  17. Just in the bit where you said the casualites will be back, maybe i read your post wrong as you were referring to midfielders. Against the French away id probably have this: ____________Gordon_____________ Hutton___Weir___Webster____Naysmith ____Fletcher__Ferguson__Quashie____ _Brown_________________McCulloch/McFadden ____________O Connor______________
  18. Shite I thought North of England. Aye well Birmingham is the 6th. Bristol is directly west of London so dont think that would count. It may be horitzontally further north on the map but not sure. Alan will have to let us know of they are they 7th answer Jon - Blackburn and Bolton
  19. Port Vale are from Stoke. Birmingham arent North.
  20. Not surprised, but thought Munich would be in for him. He is too much of a bit part player and should be in the starting XI everyweek IMO. Big loss for Chelsea.!!!
  21. Liverpool Nottingham Sheffield Stoke Manchester
  22. Aye, just hope Georgia turn up though coz they dont have anything to play for. If Ukraine dont win in there next 2 then thats magic for us if we can beat Lithuania. And if Italy draw with France and Ukraine in there next 2 things would look great. But Im not going to look that far ahead, I just want 3 points at Hampden in the next game.
  23. They have a game in hand: Georgia (away) Italy (home) Scotland (away) Faroes (Home) Lithuania (away) France (Home)
  24. Shite, I meant Webster in with Weir, but id have Pressley ahead of McManus and Caldwell and possibly Anderson also. We have to believe but after that the players have to do more than believing, they have to go and do the business.
  25. The way i was looking at it is if France beat Italy and we beat Lithuania we go ahead of Italy with 4 to play.
