  1. Yeah thats exactly what is and I bought last years 3rd and away top but Im not buying it this year as I dont like a new kit coming out every year. They should be for 2 seasons. I dont like the V next anyway.
  2. Even if we did get Smith who is going to create and set up the chances for him? We need a pacey right winger with skill and power and a creative player unless Sionko and Buffel come good. Smith would be awesome but how can we compete with Spurs and Middlesboro who will offer him 50k a week.
  3. But Alan, we have to realistic, its the sort of player we will end up going for. We cant compete with premiership sides with funds so the likes of Hull are the sides we could end up being against. Playing for Hull would probably more difficult on a weekly basis than playing for Rangers. The championship temas are way better then our SPL oppoents bar Celtic and maybe Hearts. I noticed Dennis Rommhedal (sp) is being released by Charlton, thats another type of player we would probably go for.
  4. Its something Sebo hasnt done yet because he cant score when he is on the bench. Its a lot easier to get goals when your getting 8 chance inside 84 minutes rather than scoring with 1 half chance in a 6 minute period when a game is already finished. And the bit about Boyd being compared to McCoist is still laughable, he isnt in same league. Mols was prolific but got injured. Rod Wallace was more prolific and so would have Arveladze had he been played upfront.
  5. So we finally get cover for the left midfield after years of having nobody in this position. We now have Beasley, Adam, Gow and even Thomson who can play there and Lee McCulloch will be another if he ever completes his move. But all of a sudden our right side is vacant. Sionko wants out as he and Smith dont talk and Burke is not up to the job over a season as he is weak and injury prone. 1 or 2 fans have said Sionko should be gievn another chance and im all for given players a 2nd chance so this one is all about opinion. However, Faubert would have been the answer and in typical Rangers fashion we lost out on him due to Murray and Bain. The player was begging to join us and even went on strike to try and get his deal. But Faubert must be forgotten now although we wont forget the reasons why he never signed. And if we see him flying in the EPL next season it will be a sickener. So who do we turn our attentions to?? Is there anyone realistically out there who we can go for. I seriously am racking my brains thinking if there is anyone affordable because IMO he needs to be a first teamer. I know I might get pelters for this but Ray Parlour is a free agent. Ok, he is 33/34 and would be another stop gap signing but his experience wouldnt do us any harm and I still think he could do a job in the SPL for a season until we identify someone. He cant be any worse than Burke anyway!! Suggestions?
  6. So willyou go or will you boycott??
  7. I would say yes to that. He is going to be fully fit and raring to go. I still think he should be given a chance to see what he can do. Whenever Ive seen him he looks fast, strong and loves to get on the ball and run at defenders and this is only 6 mins the odd game here and there. I cant understand where the criticism comes for Sebo when he tries but then Boyd is praised for being lazy, slow and not being able to control a ball. Sebo also hasnt complained about not been given a chance and just kept his head down which says he has a good attitude. IMO once he scores once he could be off and running.
  8. Papac will cover Smith, its a RB to cover Hutton that we need and a right midfielder. But i thought you'd have mentioned a keeper aswell Cammy? But that team would have a chance of winning the SPL and may qualify for the CL but it wouldnt be pretty. However over the season that team will occur injuries etc and the likes of Gow and Broadfoot coming in arent going to be match winners especially in CL games. There is also a lack of width and nobody creative in there so the football wont be pretty at all. Losing out on Faubert is a massive blow, he would have changed the whole look of that team. And has McCulloch even completed his move yet? We may end up relying on a few of the failures to come good i.e. Sionko for Right mid, Buffel for creative man and Sebo to boltster the attack!! Who knows - Buffel hasnt played much in his preferred role and Sebo still hasnt had a run of games.
  9. Apartently BBC say the transfer is back on as long as we come up with the right fee of 4 million - so thats means its off for sure!!
  10. Your slower than a man with slow bits :fish: I posted this on another thread. But there is no way we will raise 5 million for Koumas if we couldnt raise an extra million for Faubert. If this rumour is true then this would have been budgeted last week so thats 5 million added to 4 million for Faubert along with 2 million for McCUlloch and the 700k each for Naismith and Beasley meaning our summer budget is approx 13.5 million and thats not true IMO.
  11. Im annoyed we are missing out on Faubert even though he is going to West Ham. The Hammers dont need him unless Benyeoun leaves. But if the player wants to join us then he should turn down West Hams terms and ask Rangers to up the price. Im sure we could thrown in Novo and Sionko or the likes plus the 4 million to tempt them.
  12. If this is true its a joke we missed out on Faubert. But if its true il eat my hat
  13. NOO!!! Not Radzinski, he is 33 and past it. Brellier is too similar to Hemdani so is a pointless signing. We lost out big time with Faubert - a talent who actually was desperate to come to Rangers.
  14. Did you not see him in the Villa shirt in the clip??? He is huge there
  15. And this is hilarious: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bJEvpmzCsXE&mode=related&search=
  16. Arsenals version
  17. An extended loan move is the way to go until he gets match fitness and proves he is worth a transfer, so its a good move. He will do well next to Weir.
  18. Ive a feeling Sunderland are going to do well. But i absolute fookin hope they go straight back down - cant stand Sunderland or Keane. Niall Quinn is another pain in the hoop.
  19. We'll accept your apologies without the self portrait Pete
  20. Did you miss something

When did we ever think we would be able to say that again? However, McCulloch is still a target for me, there is a possibility that id have him ahead of Beasley. Smith knows him, he is a proven player, he is a Gers man and knows what the SPL is all about - he is a much bigger asset than people are going to think
  22. None of the bids have been made from Scotland (says the BBC)

Yeah I wouldnt mind him starting upfront or as an inside left midfield. There is no reason why he and Beasley cant play in the same team in an attacking look.
  24. Im getting worried about you Fraser - now your checking out the lads hair!! He looks like Steven Thompson more than Nacho Novo

Definate yes for me. He is much better than Adam and we dont know how Beasley is going to turn out. Regular International who plays week in week out in the Premiership and can play left mid or upfront.
