Are you kidding me!!! FFS Teale shouldnt play and McFadden should be first name on the team sheet. Look at the talent in McCulloch, Brown, Fletcher, McFadden but he plays Teale!!!!!! Boyd shouldnt start, he isnt creative enough and we need to work to get a goal against this team.

Massive game today aswell for the auld enemy and id smirk a lot if Israel nicked a point but I can only see a home win. I think England will play better with Fat Frank out but they shouldnt be risking Gerrard although he is there best player. I would have Carson in goal but Robert Green should be England No.1 by a country mile. Folks, have a look at flights from Prestwick to Gerona (Spain). Gerona is about 45 mins from Barcelona and a few airlines do cheap flights from Prestwick. If I was there Id give it bash.

McCulloch and Sebo for me But Boyd is still a no-go IMO. He gets the odd goal this season but his performances are pish and not enough for the team. Darchville works 10 times harder and Cousin has more class. Cousin and Darchville at the moment IMO

Considering Hearts start I think a win is the main aim but they are such a bizarre team that we cant expect it. Walter will get the troops sorted for it though and Im sure we can nick a win :cheers:

Perfect start to the SPL season - Played 5 won 5. We have the biggest squad with competition for places this decade and the team has morale and confidence about it. We have pumped 11 goals in our last 2 home league games and have just been drawn Barcelona in the Champions league. So everything seems rosey in the garden. But IMO we must keep our feet on the ground. We have a long long way to go in the league and the CL is about to start. Ive read a few people going over board IMO saying things are like the old days in WS era but I cant agree with this at this early stage. I dont want to put a downer on the mood but we have still to be really tested. We werent in a comfort mode against Zeta or Red Star at Ibrox and they dont have a patch on the sides that will come to Ibrox in the CL proper. Our realistic expections were probably just to qualify for the CL then see what we get. But financially we will be better off and we can take experience from this campaign. But the important thing is to go on and win back our SPL title so we are at the same stage next year expect with a more experienced side. I still feel there is a lack of creativity in the team that Im hoping Buffel will sort. We have a tough trip to Hearts next who have started poorly but got there season kickstarted away to Motherwell last week. This will be the first tricky test but with the way we are set out I think we can win there. Lets hope the was we have started is the way it goes all season but we cant forget how bad things were a short 9 months ago.

Can someone explain this to me as to why he is getting called Run DMB?? Im sure its in relation to Run DMC but I just need it clarified incase i missed something.

It shouldnt be sang but people are over reacting as if it was a poison song. I personally didnt know what it was all about until recently so have never sang or heard about it. Im sure a lot of Bears are in the same boat but sing it coz the next guy sings it. But surely we shouldnt feel the need to sing this, we have enough Rangers songs to sing.

My first comments on the draw: Fantastic! Although I was hoping for an English club Id take Barca, I just didnt want Inter again. Ive back Lyon on the last few years in the CL (an outside bet) but I actually think this is a good time to play them as they have sold a few players and are re-building. Stuttgart are beatable at Ibrox but will be a tough task away. Then Barca!! Henry, Messi, Eto, Ronaldinho, Deco etc - they will get a fright coming into the atmosphere at Ibrox but to beat them will be a hellava task. But its great to be involved in this type of games again. 2nd place is reachable IMO but if all 3 opponents turn up and play to there potential then 4th place would be no shame as it we are realistically 4th favourites.

Well done Fraser. This game tomorrow is massive. We HAVE to win it then we can worry about France. I would take 3 pts right now but Im confident we can get a draw in Paris. But lest just get any win here first then we take it from there. Id make one change to your team Fraser. Id put McCulloch where you have Brown, then move Brown in one and drop Hartley. But im actually hoping for Italy to beat France. If we win tomorrow and Italy win, then we get a point off France, we will have a better head to head over 2 games against France where as if it comes down to head to heads against Italy we have lost one already so we would HAVE to beat them at Hampden.

This should have been done years ago and would be perfect for a summer with no WC or Euro Champs. I hope it happens. But England will come crawlling in once they realise what they are missing and the revenue it would bring to there stadium they have to pay off. But they realise they would get stuffed at Hampden

This is a tough one for me to pick. There is a few things to think about 1) going on current form, 2) Ability 3) Availability (injured or not) 4) what I have seen of a player (e.g Ive never seen Whittaker play) 5) And most importantly what game we are playing (easy SPL home game or tough euro / OF away match. But the good thing is the amount of options we have available. The defence picks itself at the moment and we have great back up. Im sure Webster will give Weir a run in the coming weeks but I'll stick with Weir at the moment to partner Cuellar. In midfield McCulloch started off great but has been a bit more quiet in the last few games. I think he should have been kept on the right. I cant believe Hemdani hasnt been involved so much recently, IMO it would be Ferguson making way. Cousin looks a buy. And I would say a fully fit Buffel would have to be on the team sheet. Im going to have a stab at this team for the reserved line up : _______________McGregor_____________ Hutton_____Weir______Cuellar_____Papac __________Hemdani___Thomson_________ ___McCulloch_____Buffel______Beasley___ ________________Cousin_______________ For home games in the SPL I would tend to agree with you here but I dont see Hutton playing in a back 3. Novo would be pushing for a start on the right while non of our left sided players have been over-impressive so far. I know everyone is going to say Im mad having no Ferguson and Boyd in the team. But I just cant work out where to put BF. He started well this season and got forward but he over dictates at times and doesnt have a settled position of either defensive or offensive. I think he plays to much in the centre and should move over to the right or left side of centre and then Hemdani would play better with him. As for Boyd, I think everyone knows I dont rate him at all. But the options are great and Im looking forward to seeing more of Naismith and Whittaker before I judge.

Yeah agree with this, I would like to see Gow in action especially in games like the last St Mirren game. Its the sort of game he would try to turn. But we are looking very strong in depth.

Ferguson is the main threat at the moment and Im happy they think so. But Lee McCulloch can quietly get about his job and is a threat. We need a big performance from every player tonight - this game is massive.
