  1. Crikey, I forgot to add Smith to the thread "those not playing" yesterday.
  2. Fook me, i was only 13 at the time and didnt realise they had that much great players. IIRC they would have had Basil Boli aswell
  3. Aye, whats the bets if Hibs had taken the exact same banner along by coincidence and the top tier of tims only saw the one in the Hibs end - they would have gave the hibs fans abuse for it.
  4. No probs mate. If we get past East Fife in the cup tomorrow then that shold throw 1 more fixture in for October that you can do.
  5. No I can see it in 2 ways. 1) Whittaker would be more deserving over Hemdani on the right 2) Hemdani justifies a place (in general) in the XI over Whittaker
  6. For October: Tue 2nd - CL - Lyon (Away) - Ascender Sat 6th - SPL - Hibs (Home) - Fraser Sat 20th - SPL - Celtic (Home) - Frankie Tue 23rd - CL - Barcelona (Home) - Super Ally Sun 28th - SPL - Dundee Utd (Away) - Me If anyone else wants a game please let me know and il schedule it for Nov and after that. And if any of the guys above arent online to do these games let me know I'll do it, if its not posted around the game il do it anyway There may also be another league cup game in there should we do the expected and beat East Fife.
  7. P.s. Its good we are debating about players positions. In the past we would be struggling for names in the midfield.
  8. Gisabeer has a point though even though he doesnt rate SW and does rate BH. Hemdani merits a place in the starting line up ahead of Thomson. Some will disagree but non will disagree that Hemdani merits a place on the bench before Faye. I agree that Whittaker hasnt been impressive either, I was a bit baffled as to why we were going for him in the first place unless he was back up for Hutton. But to play him every game on RM when Novo and McCulloch have been better there is the confusing one. McCulloch is more of a left sided player but he did very well in the opening games on the right and we have Beasley, Adam and Gow who can all come in and have a go on the left.
  9. As stated the first 2 were crackers. I like the way Naismith set of on his, thats the first time ive really seen him. I hope thats the sort of stuff he does all the time.
  10. What was it doing on SKY? Have they got a contract for the season? Lucky if you's do coz the quality of the Setanta coverage is poor.
  11. I stick a tenner on one line and then a fiver on a second line unless it is singles then i'll up it to 20 quid. Its just to have an interest in some scores and hopefully get something back.
  12. Just saw this article on the UK's top 9 clubs. Gers sit at No.8
  13. I meant to put McCullochs name in there also :uzi:
  14. IF Ferguson would play to his ability in 90% of games then probably you have a point. But last season hemdani was the better player throughout. So far this season BF has started the better and is playing well but he has to be consistant. IMO its silly to compare as they are in the same team and id have both playing along side each other every game possible. Once Buffel is fit if have those 3 in a diamond.
  15. I find the joke on the Celtic fans there for the fact they claim to take all Hibs players and cant find there own players. That would have made more relevance if it was Hibs fans holding all that banners.
  16. In the same way people assume we wouldnt have lost if Ferguson had started??
  17. I think if Hemdani had played we may have not been beat, he would have broke up a lot of the Hearts play tht KT and Faye didnt get to. But its all hypothetical (sp). And the same for Ferguson had he started. But I wouldnt agree that Ferguson is that better a player than Hemdani to say BH wouldnt have made a differene but BF would have. They are both as good as each other in different ways and both would have made a difference in that game IMO.
  18. I understand that but not in Hemdani's case. He was our POTY last season as good as anyone in the country. Cant agree with that either. KT has been poor this season and the mere decision to play him ahead of Hemdani isnt the sole reason we are top of the league. IMO if Hemdani was playing we would be playing even better and in a better position in the league. If he played at Tynecastle we may still be unbeaten as KT and Faye were shocking.
  19. I have to say Hemdani over Thomson any day for me. Its a wierd one also that WS rates him for CL games (probably ahead of Thomson) but the other way round in SPL games.
  20. Anyone got updates on those not involved in playing at the moment? Surely Tam Buffel cant be far away from an apprearance. Im sure he was back in training?? The major one - Hemdani. WTF is going on here. Is he only going to play in CL games? Why did Faye get on the bench before him yesterday and more importantly why did Thomson get in the team ahead of Hemdani. This one is growing more confusing by the week and if things continue then BH will be looking for a move in January and that would be a blow. Young Stevie Lennon - He was on the verge of breaking into the team last season and looked perfect in an attacking role but he hasnt featured as of yet. Surely he can get a run out against East Fife in the cup? Alan Gow - Hasnt kicked a ball for us since the trip to America. He hasnt even been on the bench. With our play so flat at times he would have been an interesting option on the bench. Another who surely must play in midweek. Ugo Ehiogu - Cant complain about not giving any other defender a game at the moment due to the fine form of Weir and Cuellar, plus Webster waiting in the wings - looks like Big Ugo will be on his way in Jan? Nacho Novo - I feel he has been treated a bit harsh in the same way as Hemdani but not to as great a scale. Nacho started the season on fire with great performances off the bench and surely merited a starting role on the right in place of Whittaker. Once again he didnt even feature in the 16 yesterday. Chris Burke - Another who we havent seen this season. Charlie Adam - Comes in and does well in europe then out again. Not that I rate him as a starter but he must feel a little hard done by after getting double figures last season. He is a good option on the bench in certain games. Im not complaining about the above its good to have so many options. But the way a few have been left out is slightly baffling at times especially Hemdani.

    bugger

I know my stance on smoking and you have to remember those who go to the toilet expect smoke free enviroment plus its against the rules so you are totally in the wrong gb. Althought punishment of a ban is harsh for a first time offence, a warning would be appropriate. I hope you get your book back mate. I bet your not alone here either. Could the answer be to make a smoking section in the stadium from next season For e.g. - West enclosure? Although im sure those in the main stand and club deck wouldnt appreciate having to view the game through the mist
  22. Results are going astray these days
  23. Yeah, pretty poor game though, the Jose factor has taking shine off Chelseas game IMO. Cech has 2 good saves but i feel he could have got to Tevezs goal. Van Basten is sitting behind Abramovic at the game, wont be long before he is appointed then!
  24. 3-2 to Hibs!!!!!!!!! Boruc with another clanger!! Superb. He messed up the first one then when the tims levelled he was giving the hibs fans abuse then he just had a clanger to give hibs the lead and the Hibs fans are chanting his name
  25. Newcastle up 2-1 at moment despite West Ham being far the better side. Also switching to keep an eye on Villa who lead 1-0. Ive got all the games on except Blackburn v Pompey. The Unwashed reserves v the unwashed is on SPL channel ahead of the Gers v Aberdeen. 2-1 to the Hibs And PSV lead Feyenoord 3-0 which is also on. Far too many games on tv at same time
