Cant say i agree with that - Im totally looking at Walter about this. Why why why on earth did he pay big money for Whittaker and if he chased Naismith so much why not play him
-
I can only agree with you mate especially when it comes to the Thomson comment. Is he expecting him to jump out the moon and become a world beater soon?? If not then drop him!! Same for Ferguson, if he is not performing then FFS drop him!! Guys like Novo are itching for a game and will give 110%
-
In other words who is the biggest dick of a manager?? I used to think Neil Warnock was a grade-A Prick but Roy Keane surely has to win this award hands down.
-
Thats how good they're score was - I cant even remember it!! :fish:

Just listening to Traynors call in and they are debating the best result out of the 3 scottish teams: Who's result is the best? Lyon 0-3 RANGERS CELTIC 2-1 AC Milan Dnipro 0-0 ABERDEEN Aberdeens result shouldnt even be considered IMO but they went and did a job to qualify for the group stages. If you take one-off results then would be Rangers would be the best. If you look at it that celtic were playing the Euro champs then they have a case for having the best result. But Rangers result for me!

Sticking a pound on these teams today would return over 2.7million if they won 2,726,426.00 to be exact!! Sunderland Birmingham Bolton Tottenham Middlesboro Everton St Mirren Gretna

Ouch! Id have sympathy for you if you werent a bookie yourself mate

I looked at the fixtures a few weeks ago and said West Ham would lose 3 on the trot against Newcastle, Arsenal and Villa. If we want to get to the next level we should be taking 4-6 points out of these games. Curbishley has spent silly money and has to be questioned here!!
-
Whittaker, Boyd and Adam are schoolboy players. Maybe its the drink talking but when these players are in the team shouldnt we actually expect shite results?? Steaming loyal
-
Dont be going for a sly puff this week

Me also Dave, but I really want to see him get a chance behind the strikers in his preferred role. I actually think he could do a job when we play 1 or 2 strikers upfront. Hemdani and / or Thomson will compliment him.

Bit of a lovers tiff going on here. but welcome back koeman!!
-
Its worth a fiver bud
-
Awesome post mate, I just posted about him a minute ago and if he will be in the squad tomorrow. Im well pleased to hear that report and I may get to see him and Hemdani in the same midfield yet!!
-
Have to say for Sundays coupon I fancy a Bolton and Spurs double. Chelsea won the league at Bolton twice so Bolton and Anelka will get them back and I fancy Spurs to go to Liverpool and take all 3 points. 4/1 and 9/2 makes a 27.5/1 double
-
Any word on him being in the squad tomorrow?? Im hoping he is and plays the last 30 mins.
-
Its a strange one because I see Brian Laudrup being a future Gers manager no problem, yet he has had no experience either.
-
Aye, that might mean a sunday sesh!! Ive got loads of games on but first up will be the Gooners v Sunderland. I hope Arsene stuffs Roy keane
-
Thats the nail on the head - Jury out! He only coached the Scotland team with Walter and Tommy "Scotland Football Club" Burns so even jumping into the assistant managers role was a big move for Coisty. I bet the bald guy Kenny does quite a bit that goes unnoticed. He will definatly bring the fight to the team and will get respect. His tactical awareness will be judged when the time comes round.
-
Aye, its rank, but ive got them both on live one after the other plus the Gers v Hibs game so it makes it better.

I agree its early. What made me think this was I remember back to being at Ibrox at a Strasbourg game towards the end of Smiths first era and we were dire and I think we lost 2-1. If that Lyon game had been 10 years ago I dont think we would have dreamt about winning 3-0. But he took Scotland to a better standard home and away and so far the signs are his is carrying it into this reign. Once the fixtures were announced I think a lot of Bears would have taken 6 pts after 4 games in the CL never mind in 2 games.

Silly question if regards to his age!! But I think WS has matured as a manager since his first stint. He was wonderfully sucessful domestically but for a few seasons our closest title contenders were Motherwell and Aberdeen in the early 90s until Celtic came stronger in 95/96. However that doesnt take his achievements away. But in europe apart from the 92/93 season he just lost it and we were at the end of some cuffings. This time round he has taken a different approach and it seems to be working. He is going for result first, performance second not to say the latter has been bad. I think its down to his time with Scotland more than his Everton days, he seemed to just click with Scotland and its giving him something to take into the Rangers job. Maybe some say not having Archie Knox around is a good thing and having Ally instead is doing the job??

Most Prem games are sunday this weekend so Im stoomped for a coupon in sat. But after early looks I fancy this for a 9/1 shot: Man U to beat Wigan 1/6 Charlton to beat Barnsley 8/13 Leeds to beat anyone in that league 4/7 Forest to beat Hartlepool 4/6 Hearts to beat Falkirk 2/5 Rangers to beat Hibs 4/9 For a bit of adventure and 24/1 odds: Villa v West Ham Draw 11/5 Watford to win at Scunthorpe 7/5 Dundee Utd v Motherwell draw 11/5 Sundays coupon TBC
